    When you do the front post crochet and you wrap the yarn twice (before going behind the post) you’re actually doing a front post treble crochet. Beautiful granny square though. Way better than just a basic granny square.

      I'm not an experienced crochet-er, but have made very simple blankets for two of my grandkids. I'm feeling a little more confident, and would like to try this for the third one. Did you make your blanket of multiple squares, or is it one great big square? Call me lazy, but I don't like the idea of fiddling around sewing in all the ends.

      This is my go to pattern, it’s such a beautiful, beautiful pattern..
      You explain everything so patiently..
      I bought the yarn today from our local wool shop,
      I bought off white, grey & a large skein of autumn colours, I want to make to large throws..
      The yarn I bought is called half and half here in Australia. It’s a 10 ply, 50 percent wool and 50 percent acrylic ..
      What ply yarn & crotchet hook are you using please ?
      Thank you so much for all your excellent tutorials ..

    • @causable
      @causable 2 месяца назад

      Do a starting chain of four, slip stitch into the first stitch, and use that as the magic ring. Do all of your double crochets into that circle, you just can’t close it like you could a magic ring. But plenty of people use that method instead
