The one at 2:05 is simply brilliant. Earlier, the guy says “Wipe yourself off. You’re bleeding.” And then there’s Carter’s genius response: “Wipe yourself off, man. You’re dead.”
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise? I thought not. It’s not a story the Jedi would tell you. It’s a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.
“Well what do we have?” “Sea bass” “Are they ill tempered?” “Absolutely.” “Ok we’ll go with that. We’ll put them in an easily escapable situation and just assume they died. Great plan!”
@ Klamath 2046. Charles Dance is awesome. I hope they do a sequel to Dracula Untold because I can imagine the delightful villainy he could bring to that franchise.
Yeah, and it probably inspired a little scene in Van Helsing. Aleera: "Anna, my love. It is your blood that will keep me beautiful. What do you think of that?" Anna rams a stake through her heart and retorts: "I think if you're going to kill someone, kill them. Don't stand there talking about it." Coincidence? Sure :)
I prefer his line from the theatrical cut. Evil Ash (who is dancing around singing): "You're a Little Goodie Two Shoes, Little Goodie Two Shoes, Little Goodie Two Shoes...." Ash shoots him point blank in the face with a shotgun: Ash: "I ain't *that* good!"
My favorite one liners from this video: 1. "Keep the change, ya filthy animal." (Home Alone) 4:57 2. "Good. Bad. I'm the guy with the gun." (Army of Darkness) 2:55 3. "Justice served." (R.O.T.O.R) 7:45 4. "Iced that guy, to cone a phrase" (Last Action Hero) 1:40 5. "Was that a ninja?" "More like a not-ja." (Speed Racer) 2:20 6. "Then he should've armed himself" (Unforgiven) 7:36 7. "Does anyone else wanna drop out?" (A View to a Kill) 3:53 8. "Flawless victory." (Mortal Kombat) 6:50 9. "Stick around." (Predator) 3:10 10. "Are you not entertained!?" (Gladiator) 1:17 Honorable mention: "We're married" "Consider that a divorce" (Total Recall) 9:18
I liked Travolta's lines in the punisher after he put his best friend in a body bag and his wife on a train track: - "where's Quentin?" "He's wrapped up in something." -"Where's mom?" "she took the train"
The delivery was amazing, the only scene from the video where I genuinely chuckled. And I can't believe that was Charles Dance. Coincidentally, I just watched an hour-length video on Tywin Lannister before watching this lol
4:28 pretty much no one is talking about how brutal this is. Prime ripped his face off (the fallen couldn’t even scream properly from the pain), punched The Fallen’s heart out and went the extra mile and out of his way to make the last thing The Fallen sees is his being heart crushed in front of his eyes.
@@notinthemood7615 I could watch a youtube compilation of Optimus killing Decepticons all day. I´ll rate the movies 5/10 but the Optimus only compilation is 13/10 !!
Not a movie, but one of my favorite lines was in Mass Effect 3, probably inspired by the bond line: Brooks: “Admit it, Commander. You’ll miss me.” *shot* Shepard: “Not at this range, I won’t.”
The Fifth Element had one other great one liner after the kill. When Zorg kills the hotel personnel telling him there’s a bomb in the hotel. Zorg’s reply: “I know.”
Arnold is so great with one-liners because he can only remember one line at a time. Director: "Fuck it. We'll fix it in post." Arnold: "Okay, what's my next line?" Director: "Auuurrrghhh." Arnold: "Oh, right. *AAAUYAAGHLAAGAURAGH!!"*
*Yes!* Because these lists so rarely include vintage stuff, I had assumed I’d have to comment about how they missed the best one...but lo and behold, it shows up at 9:05. Damn it, if Tuco ain’t the coolest foil in any movie ever...
So many one-liners between those guys. I especially liked how the video cut two of their most similar lines together: "My friend is dead tired." "My sister is exhausted. She's just dead!"
"Beam me up, Scotty!" Dead wrong! Arnie has "Don't disturb my friend. He's dead tired." Bond has "Mind if my friend sits this one out? She's just dead".
I don't know about the greatest, but Charles Dance going "I just shot someone! I did it on purpose" is definitely the one that's made me laugh the hardest. I think I rewound twice just to hear it again when I watched that movie.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is a classic for one liners. So is James Bond. But Ewan McGregor/Obi-Wan’s “so uncivilized” really takes the cake. Hell- it’s even a metaphor on how these villains die before the post-death one liner’s done. Quick Edit: Vader’s quote. Also a classic.
@@an_anime_crepe828 it's a reference to famous a New Hope quote by Obi-Wan Kenobi, who gives Luke his father's lighsaber and says that it is "An elegant weapon, for a more... civilized age."
"Men get arrested. Dogs get put down." I know Snyder's version of Rorschach is a horrific misreading of the character, but that line should've been included on here. It's so good.
Bond and Arnold made it into an art form.
+KanonXD Yes. I think of all the Bonds Moore had the best send off lines.

“He won’t be joining us for the rest of his life.” I love the delivery

“Now to apply for a teaching position at Hogwarts where I hopefully won’t be killed by a snake.”
11:58 I loved how the villain showed his approval for the one-liner before dying.

“You just shot an unarmed man” “well he should have armed himself”
"...if he was gonna decorate his saloon with my friend.."
Clint always has the best, but this one is even better then his "You feel lucky" line.
best one liner ever
@@n.w.1803
Yeah, it’s hard to argue with his logic, there.. lol..
Commando was basically a cornupocia of one-liners, with a plot tacked-on! Vintage Schwarzenegger, baby!
Commando and The Running Man I think have the most one-liners in an Arnie film!
@RUhere4the TRIGGERING Thanks for the heads up! It's been ages since I've seen that movie!
I think you mean army of darkness
“I let him go” has always been my favorite from the movies. But the real #1 comes from a book, from Mickey Spillane’s “I, the Jury” - “it was easy.”
"Oh, man. I shot Marvin in the face"
Sergio Gonzalo Arenas Mercado The car didn’t hit no motherfuckin’ bump!
We'll why the fuck'd you go and do that!?!?
What part
Why was that not in there?
Agent Brooks: Admit it commander, you’ll miss me.
*Gunshot*
Commander Shepard: Not at this range, I won’t.
(Mass Effect 3)
It is just the same Bond line.
SPOILER ALERT:He is nick
yeah, lucky it wasnt xcom "You´ll miss me" "99.9 hit chance, definitly will miss"

Movies dude
The Goldfinger one is actually: "Shocking... positively shocking."
"When you have to shoot, shoot! Don't talk!"
Best advice for all movie villains ever. 😅
I wouldn't call him a villain.
"All those feathers and he still can't fly." - Always loved that one. 06:38
My favorite Bond-ism
Nobody did it better than Roger Moore!
I liked Travolta's lines in the punisher after he put his best friend in a body bag and his wife on a train track:
- "where's Quentin?"
"He's wrapped up in something."
-"Where's mom?"
"she took the train"
overlex Travolta in punisher ? What ?
He played the main antagonist in Punisher '04. Don't miss Kevin Nash as The Russian!
+Tomi In the Thomas Jane version , Travolta plays Howard Saint.
+cycobear86 *YES !* Although of course Jon Bernthal rocks in the role, I still have a special place in my heart for Thomas Jane's version!
Best punisher ever, don't care what anyone says.
"Slate was a dead end."
"Dammit, he killed him!"
Nice to see M has wised up to Bond's... quirks.
Dame Judi knows what's up.
“Compliments of Sharkey”
Well she used to it by now
The look on her face after she heard the news cracked me up.
Honourable mention..........Drax: "You missed Mr Bond! upon skeet shooting. Bond :"did I?",as assassin falls from tree.
I love that literally half the list is either James Bond or Arnie films! Kings of the one-liners for sure!
Lots of Bruce Willis too.
"I never miss." - that is probably the best Bond one-liner. Bitter cold!
llongone2 or
“You’ll never kill me, you’ll miss me”
“Not at this range”
My fave line: *"Good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun."*
I prefer the alternate "I'm not that good"
my favourite line is "*I think he got the point.*"
my favourite line is "applesauce b*tch
My favourite was when you have to shoot, shoot don’t talk
So glad they included the two from Total Recall. First time I watched it, I knew they would become two of my favorites.
6:23 only Charles Dance could deliver "hello?! I've just shot somebody, and I did it on purpose!" and make it actually sound threatening XD
What is that one from? I don't recognize it.
Last Action Hero
@@vagabond142 Thank you!
Crap; I don't think I've seen that movie this century.
Damn Tywin needs to calm down
The delivery was amazing, the only scene from the video where I genuinely chuckled. And I can't believe that was Charles Dance. Coincidentally, I just watched an hour-length video on Tywin Lannister before watching this lol
"I'm sorry, did you just tough talk a dead body?" ... brilliant lampshade of the entire cliche.
they should have ended with that
talk*
I wish bond would’ve said “He needed some space” instead of “had to fly”.
Bond workshops thousands of witty zingers a movie and they can't all be gold
I would've went with, he was feeling a bit spaced out.
Nope it doesn't roll off the tongue. Had to fly is a killer pun. So He needed some space and feeling space out doesn't fit. Killer puns moments.
RETRIBUTION....for Drax's difficulty in following The British "sense of humour"
The bit when he opens the airlock is even better. "Take a giant step for mankind" followed by a gentle push.
I love how a lot of these are just people saying it to themselves. No one around, the guy is dead or dying, and they still decide to quip. I love it
"Hullo!? I just shot somebody. I did it on purpose!"
That line always makes me laugh XDXD
Can only be said in a posh English accent.
It's Tywin Lannister. He can get away with it.
Doesnt he continue on for awhile until someone yells at him to shut up?
"SHUT UP DOWN THERE!"
@@NikNokGamer , And I love that Prime.
I seriously didn't expect Optimus to be on here, but him saying "I rise, you fall" was fucking cold. Gosh I love the Transformer films so much.

Not a movie, but one of my favorite lines was in Mass Effect 3, probably inspired by the bond line:
Brooks: “Admit it, Commander. You’ll miss me.”
*shot*
Shepard: “Not at this range, I won’t.”
Al Bundy had a similar line when his wife comes home from shopping.
She said:
Honey, did you miss me.
And he replies:
With every bullet so far.
"Damn, he ain't gon' be in rush hour 3"
That a bloopers at the end of Rush Hour 2 says. "Damn, good kick."

Ouch
The best part was that Alan Rickman ad-libbed that line just because he thought it was something a dude like Hans Gruber would say.
"Yeah, he'll like it in hell."
"Leave the gun. Take the cannoli"

Godfather top 5 movie of all time

Clint Eastwood:well he should have armed himself
Definitely one of my favorites.
If he's going to decorate his saloon with my friend....
Eastwood scares me in this movie. Like I sincerely believe he'd kill me just like that.
I read this comment at the exact same time it appeared in the video
What movie is that?
The Fifth Element had one other great one liner after the kill. When Zorg kills the hotel personnel telling him there’s a bomb in the hotel.
Zorg’s reply: “I know.”
Entire 5th Element dialogue is a gem! And actors with perfect deliveries too.
This channel is brilliant: funny yet simple, incredible yet non-click-baity. You have a brilliant repertoire of film, & that's amazing. Thank you!

yes, precisely this
His videos don't need clickbait for it to be good.
1:21 “so uncivilized” Favorite one of the bunch.
"Let off some steam, Bennett."
The delivery, the steely look in his eyes... such a cheesy line, but somehow it comes off totally badass.
"Wipe yourself off, man. You dead."
For some reason I love this line.
“We’re married.”

I like how most of these lines come from Arnold Schwarzenegger; he’s really good with one-liners.
@Kcs Clan True.
Arnold is so great with one-liners because he can only remember one line at a time.
Director: "Fuck it. We'll fix it in post."
Arnold: "Okay, what's my next line?"
Director: "Auuurrrghhh."
Arnold: "Oh, right. *AAAUYAAGHLAAGAURAGH!!"*
I still say his best one-liner is in True Lies when he says “You’re fired” before firing the terrorists hanging off a missile.
Don't forget James Bond.
"Let off some steam Bennett!" One of my favorite lines from Commando.
1:07 “Apple sauce bitch.” Is by far my favorite line for its randomness
He smoked him in the most epic way possible.
*Yes!*
Because these lists so rarely include vintage stuff, I had assumed I’d have to comment about how they missed the best one...but lo and behold, it shows up at 9:05.
Damn it, if Tuco ain’t the coolest foil in any movie ever...
*"Leave the Gun take the Cannoli"*
7:36 That is hands down one of the greatest movie scenes of all time. When Clint Eastwood's William Munny arrives to confront Little Bill
23 Bond lines! I’m proud to be a Bond fan right now.
imagine how short this would be without Arnie and James Bond...
So many one-liners between those guys. I especially liked how the video cut two of their most similar lines together:
"My friend is dead tired."
"My sister is exhausted. She's just dead!"
+오율평
Don’t forget Austin Powers.
Austin Powers is actually an inflated parody on Bond. Awesome one in it's own right though.
"Beam me up, Scotty!"
Dead wrong! Arnie has "Don't disturb my friend. He's dead tired." Bond has "Mind if my friend sits this one out? She's just dead".
"Ohh man ..I shot Marvin in the face" should have been nr 1
“WELL I DIDN’T MEAN TO DO IT. IT WAS AN ACCIDENT”
Those are just 100 lines, they're not in an order. Everyone single one could be number 1
You forgot the best from "The Expendables"

And that From Formula 51 "Rest in peace, motherf**ker"
I don't know about the greatest, but Charles Dance going "I just shot someone! I did it on purpose" is definitely the one that's made me laugh the hardest. I think I rewound twice just to hear it again when I watched that movie.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a classic for one liners. So is James Bond.
But Ewan McGregor/Obi-Wan’s “so uncivilized” really takes the cake. Hell- it’s even a metaphor on how these villains die before the post-death one liner’s done.
Quick Edit: Vader’s quote. Also a classic.
