Thank you so much for making this video! Every single fact you said is absolutely true! They are truly the best companions and require a lot of love and attention! A truly wonderful video! ❤️❤️❤️
I’m fostering a chocolate siamese kitten rn and I’m trying to convince myself that I actually have to give him back eventually. I’m going to fail most likely...
In Thailand, Thai people refer to this cat as Wichien Mat, which means diamond of the moon. because of its eyes It has a blue color that looks like a diamond and its white body contrasts with black. so it looks like a half moon.
I just adopted my Siamese from a shelter and she’s the biggest sweetheart. She’s a recent amputee after being hit by a car as a stray before she was brought in to the shelter and I love her even more because of that. I’m so happy to be her hero and mom 🥺
I had a beautiful siamese cat. One night I heard a noise that sounded like a baby crying. I went outside and there was a skinny hungry siamese cat. We fed him thinking he would go back where he came from. My mom wouldn't let me bring him into the house so I sat outside and held him all night his mournful cry turned into a happy purr. I knew then I was chosen by this beautiful boy
I was a single father; became so when my daughter was barely 3. We adopted a Seal-Point Siamese Kitten as a companion. As it turned out, the Siamese Cat helped me raise my little girl! Therefore, I think Siamese cats are fantastic! (I love all cats, but my favorite breed is Siamese. )🐱👍🏻
I had one lovely tabby cat helped us raise my son as well, I'm so appreciate for that cat and missing him even after he was lost 3 years ago. Cat is the best company to the human beings, love them and always be proud of being a cat lover
My wife and I have had Siamese cats for more than 30 years. We’ve adopted all seven of them from the Siamese Rescue League. We’ve had Seal, Chocolate, Flame and Torte Shells. They’ve been loving, very talkative and the sweetest babies. Oh and all our babies have always been indoor cats and always will be.
We just got a 3 month old.. what is the best food to feed him? Right now I’m feeding him Merrick kitten..and Tiki cat born carnivore kitten. He didn’t like instinct.. we want him to have the nutrition that he needs
I’ll never forget all the sleepless nights I had when Mora was a kitten. She would never shut up and she would want up on the bed and back down. I finally resorted to sleeping on the floor for awhile, haha!
Your married??? Apparently they never told you the truth. Wives are no different than timeshares with an expensive exit fee. That must be paid out over the next 18 years without fail. They also lose their value over time. So it’s a terrible investment. Better to buy a 304 then have your fun for the night. Then walk away with you dignity and portfolio in tact.
My husband and I have a male seal point siamese. We found him as a kitten on the side of the road. He was around 2 months when we found him. The poor thing was so skinny and covered in fleas. He is now a healthy and happy 9 month old mischievous, talkative bundle of energy. We absolutely adore him
My cousin found my male chocolate point kitten at the end of my road. She took him home. He was a good weight but flea infested. She treated his fleas and started looking for a home for him because her husband didn’t want a cat. I found out she had a Siamese kitten and had him in my arms within the hour. He’s almost 15 years old now and he’s been such a gift to me.
same happened with ours! we found him on our driveway at about 2 months of age. He was coughing because of the cold weather (beginning of October). We decided to keep him after looking for his original owners. He's full of energy and he has a mischievous personality :D
She loves you. I have one who is possessive if me as well. Lol. She just has to get over it. My Balinese needs a chance on my lap too. My husband has her go on his lap. Mine are like children. I love all three of mine like they are my kids. The first was from a shelter. The second an apple headed from a very ethical breeder.
@@JuniperJennifer666 Maybe you should consider if your cat is absolutely fine. By this I mean healthy and satisfied. This breed is especially social, friendly a talkative. Therefore maybe you could question if your cat has every possible thing to be absolutely happy. Is he/she healthy?(some diseases may be invisible, but still may cause your cat to suffer, be in pain and therefore asocial and unfriendly). Is the mental health of your cat perfect? (other animals may stress and fear your kitty!, how was childhood of your cat? was there any trauma or abuse?) But maybe your cat has everything and still is bitchy xD In this case I would question if youre siamese is pure breed. The cross breeds have mixed personal characteristics and can be less social and friendly. :-) hopefully this is helpful and could help you to find a reason why your cat isn't that nice to you.
We had a Siamese cat we got from a breeder, he was a wonderful sweet loving cat who lived 24 years. We got another Siamese after losing Blum, William is now about 6 years old, he's so attached to me he not only follows me everywhere, he sleeps with me every night with his head on my shoulder. 💞
Lucky you! Mine would sleep on my pillow next to my head. When he passed to comfort myself at night I would place something there so I had something next to my head
@@freddygigliotti7214 I'm so sorry you lost yours, it's devastating when we lose them. My William was meant to be my husband's, he was a birthday gift from me but William is so attached to me he follows me everywhere. I hope you get another kitty, we can't replace them but we can open our hearts to another.💕
@@Suzismymom already have 2, but you know you are very very lucky when you have a cat that truly loves and adores you. Currently have two I rescued although they are not Siamese... A ginger cat and a black one. I tell everyone they are my Halloween cats because of their colors. But I am looking forward to getting a Siamese again. They are the best!!!
@@freddygigliotti7214 I also have 2 tabby sisters from the same litter, and took in a white kitten a neighbor threw outside last winter (we would've taken him in if they asked), as he grew my initial suspicions were confirmed, he's part Siamese, beautiful gray markings, gorgeous blue eyes and very loving, but my Siamese is so jealous he constantly bullies him, even though William is half his size. They're slowly adapting, but the newest addition hangs out with our 2 dogs 😂 I'm happy to hear you have to other Halloween cats, but yes, there's something about Siamese cats that fascinates me. I hope one day you come across another Siamese like your last, someone like you deserves all the cat love you can handle 😻
I fostered a Siamese that had been thrown in a dumpster. He was dehydrated and had wounds on his face. He was given IV fluids and his wounds were cleaned up. That’s when I got him. He was 6 weeks but only 1 lb. He couldn’t eat when I got him. I put him on kitten milk replacement and that was the magic cure that got him feeling better. I adopted him and now he’s 16 weeks and over 5 lbs. He’s a little timid ..but darn he had such a bad start in life. He loves to cuddle especially at night. He lays his head on my pillow. I love him so much 😭💗.
Once you go Siamese, there's no going back! So much endless love and affection! Best decision ever without a doubt. I miss mine all day in work, she's so beautiful and I get an awesome greeting when I get home. Still can't get over how clever she is, despite all the naughty kitten awards she won early on. She can teleport apparently too. 😆🐈⬛🐾🐾🐾
@@essprgamer Thank you. 😄She is a Grandmother now. She gave birth to a single kitten who was kind of Tortoiseshell with light Siamese patches, who then got older and gave birth to two kittens, one is another female Tortoiseshell/Siamese identical to the mother and a female Ginger who are just beyond friendly and loving. I made the decision to keep them early on. Lol. Instant love. It is amazing how cats can be when treated with lots of love and attention. Mine know me like the back of their paws.😻
My neighbor has 2. Im outside all the time so they come over and hang out. I love them. Loyal asf. They go wherever I go. I tell people they aren’t my cats but they are my dawgs.
Just saved one today which was trapped in a rubbish bin. It really impressed me that she was so sociable and not scared when i first came in touch with her. I am so blessed about giving her a home now.🙏
Me either...I have had a Siamese cat for 40 years..I'm on #3 now....my first little female ...she is so sweet..and feisty too!..I couldn't live without a Siamese cat!...Mine are never outside either!
I had a cat named Rocky, he was so lovely. He never dared scratched or bit anyone and he was so noisy. Towards the end of his life he became my best friend and did everything he could to please me. He had weird little quirks like peeing in the bath and he had a routine where he would tell us when to go to bed. The last few months of his life me and him became inseperatable, he had seperation anxiety and followed me everywhere. He reminded me of a dog. He was always there and my room was his favourite place and he would do anything to get in my room when he couldn’t. He literally worshiped me and I loved him so much. He died last Friday night two days ago unexpectedly from a heart disease we didn’t know of, he showed no signs and I miss him so much everything I do now reminds me of him being there RIP Rocky he was only 5 years old gone to soon 💔
Ohhhh noooo. I’m so so sorry. Sounds so sweet. My Xerxes is pat Siamese part Persian and he’s extremely affectionate and demanding so much so he’s a bully. Head butting my hands to get my attention when I’m working on the computer or talking holding my cell phone. He literally knocks it out of my hand! Very very vocal, we talk all the time and yes he greets me when I get home and also fuses at me when I stay up late and don’t go to bed on time! I love him so much. My sweet boy.
I got my Siamese cat from a shelter. She'd been abandoned by her previous owners when they moved out. 4 years later, she's such a sweet bundle of joy. She's not very active, prefers to sleep a lot, but she loves tummy rubs!
I just adopted my sweet Siamese baby from the Humane Society for nothing since I'm old. She's everything I'd hope for--not so vocal & loud, but we do communicate quite nicely!
I had a siamese who I would wear as a scarf .she was sweet and talkative and literally prevented my other cat from being euthanized due to sending to many to the hospital. She lived around 7 years which is so short for my animals but she had seizures so we just had to make her life awesome while we could 🥰
Facts about Cats - Loved the video, but never yet seen a video on the breed that details the 'other' Siamese personality type, not sullen or solitary, but "self-contained." I spoke to vets and they said there is nothing wrong with a more reserved Siamese and the vets say they see them all the time. We had one who lived a long, full life but was reserved. It did play and meow and was an avid hunter of birds (yikes). A great friend in California had a Siamese, same way. He was extremely reserved and it took a year to gain his full confidence, then he was very friendly. It seems that for everyone I know who has a talkative, "follow-you-around" puss, I know someone else who has the distinct opposite. a reserved Siamese. I will repeat, they're not sick, depressed or unhappy - simply - reserved! Thanks for this video.
Every Siamese cat I've ever met was an absolute sweetheart! They're my favorite besides black cats! My roommate has a traditional Siamese cat, who is shy, but so sweet.
I am now on my third Siamese cat. Lucy lived to be 16 (2016) and Kara was a few days shy of her 18th birthday. (She crossed the Rainbow Bridge at the beginning of May.) They were both very loving and loyal and yes, very loud - whether talking or purring! I miss them very much. 😿 We brought home a Siamese kitten last week along with her littermate, a tabby. The are about 10 weeks old and were rescued off the streets. They are slowly being introduced to our other (adult) cats and Yorkies. All of them are rescues also. 😻
i’m on my 3rd siamese too! once you go siamese, you really can’t go back. i think they’re the most loyal and intelligent cat breed out there. They have an ancient energy about them….
@@Faint7903lol simie is currently our 'bush kitty' as he loves to lay in our bushes all the time, hes hilarious! Every now and again he will come inside and legit lay on my bed and just like ✨sleep✨
In Portugal they are usually dumped and labelled as 'too agressive' and mine was dumped in the middle of the woods when she was about 3 months old... Now she's my best friend, most fierce guardian and furry baby 😄
Our cat Kitso passed away one year ago. He was a flame. We miss him so much I still cry when I think of him. We had him for 17 years. Beautiful and very smart. I wrote a book about how he came to us. It is called "our cat Kitso" Anyone who has a Flame is blessed.
i was thinking of getting a ragdoll, when a family up the road had a litter of ragdolll cross siamese. There was only one little fella left, he had zero ragdoll traits, he was full on red point siamese. One of his siblings was waiting to be picked up, he looked like a ragdoll, apparently they all dis, except Claude . Im so pleased he was last to be picked, he's great. He fits perfectly with the family, he's affectionate, he worships the dog., he doesnt chatter a lot like full siamese do though.
I have two siamese cats named Paul and Romeo and this is what I've learned from them: they're "hungry" all the time they aren't actually hungry but if they can see the bottom of the bowl they freak out, they love talking to you, they are super big jerks most of the time but then they love you and snuggle with you and lick your toes, they wrap their tails around you when they know they're safe and last but not least they love you so much and you can't help but to love them back because their big blue eyes are so adorable
Also if you want to get a siamese cats you should get two not just one because they are very roudy and they ALWAYS need someome to play with or they'll get very sad
I love my siamese cat, she still acts like a baby at her age but sometimes her clingyness can be too much. I wish i knew how much attention she really needed but i give her all the attention i can when i am home
Same here lol! Her clinginess can definitely be too much. My siamese cat Gabbi follows me around everywhere, I need to leave the door to my room open at night so she can come in and out or else she will sit there and meow and scratch until I open the door, she also needs to sleep with me at night and if she gets bored she will begin biting me or laying on top of my head. Ive gotten used to this tho cause I love this cat so much I tolerate it lol
I have always had Siamese cats that have lived long lives. My current Siamese cat named Sasha (her mothers name was Tasha) just turned 21 years old on 1/21/22. Her twin sister Chloe passed when she was 18 years old. Everything you say is true. She has learned to use my iPad. She adds characters to a text message, moves my jig saw puzzle pieces around on my iPad, etc.
Mon chat siamois s appelait aussi Sacha. Il est mort il y a un an et a vécu 15 ans. Il était tellement gentil et adorable. Je l avais eu à 2 mois. Il me manque beaucoup. Si je reprends un chat ce sera un siamois.
After losing one of my black cats earlier this year we got a Siamese! He is also a Manx (has extra toes) he opens doors, uses the toilet and is the cuddliest softest baby ever. 💙
I met mine while doing door to door sales, the owner wanted nothing to fo with him and was leaving him outside to fight for itself even tho they had removed his front claws, he’s turning 10 next month. He doesnt play much almost like he lost his confidence and sleeps a lot, doesnt really trust anyone but me, not aggressive whatsoever i just wish i could figure out how to make him enjoy life a little more
Good point, i think no matter what u saved him, so thats great. U did great, and like the u tube channel said having you around is the biggest thing for your cat. Maybe try playing with him more? Comb him, give him fresh water and some cuddles I think those are the great bonds.....Shame about declawing, I wouldnt even cut or trim my cats nails. No need. Idiots who do.
Try playing music for him. My Siamese loved music...and treat puzzle mazes. Also Loved her tall cat condo, and enjoyed me training her with a clicker on a stick. I would point the stick to where I wanted her to jump/go.... click...then give the treat. We'd do that throughout the house. It was great stimulation for her. He's lucky to have you.
I know what you mean. I wish I knew what I could do for my cats to ensure their happiness. I try to brush them, give them treats every day. I cater to their individual peculiarities. Talk to them and pet them a considerable amount of time. I just want to know what more I can do.
My Beautiful traditional Siamese cat of 12 years passed away just a week ago. Everything said in this video was pretty spot on. Time flies before you know it. love every second you have with your cat!
My siamese is such a quiet, observant boy. He meows selectively, mainly when we're playing and he loves the fact that I work from home because he gets cuddles all day long
Didn't look up these facts videos til today - the day we buried our lovely cat Lucas. i'd say these are all really true. he was so sweet, clingy and smart. he's not that loud but he does communicate and he knows his name well. whenever i call out for him, he immediately comes running to me. he was actually scheduled for a vaccine but he got sick and passed away the very next day. i was so devastated and heartbroken, i feel like i'll never meet a cat like him again. i miss him already, but i'm thankful for the few months he spent with me. ♥
I have Siamese as my first cat. She is nearly 1 year old now. I swear she's such a wonderful sweet loving cat. She talks a lot to the point that I feel like she understands what I'm saying haha. She's curious and carries lots of energy as well. She never leaves me alone and always would like to know what I'm doing. Siamese is truly so affectionate and I love that.
I have a 5 year old chocolate point male Siamese with the prettiest blue eyes. He's very loving, curious, mischievous and he likes to impress me with his tale action when he wants something. He's also pretty much a one person cat. I have 3 cats and love this breed .
I’ve owned up to 10 cats at a time but only got 2 now which one of em is a siamese and trust me they’re different and loving. You gotta show them attention and sometimes they’ll be even get anxiety and start meowing really loudly when we get seperated.
My cat Sugar is a Cross eyed part siamese. Very shy and clingy. But a great lap pet and cuddler. She likes to sit outside the bathroom door like she's guarding it.
My mother has two siamese boys. They're very demanding and are full of personality. Just be ready for how chatty they are if you're interested in getting one.
Thank you for saying that cats should not be let outdoors! Especially Siamese as you'll be lucky to get your cat back into your home from being picked up and whisked away. I never had a problem with my cats around my children. In fact they both wore each other out. lol They have a bad reputation as being mean and aggressive. This is in my opinion due to how they are raised, starting from day 1 in the home. Never allow people to play with your cat with their hands or feet! It's cute when they are kittens but they will have this instilled that it is play as an adult. Teach them words so they can understand like no bite, when they do. And paws, not claws. This I do by making a fist and say paws, then I flick my fingers out and say claws. Repeat it a few times and do it as often as you can until they get it in their heads. Then when they swat you, it will be with a paw, not a claw. Also correct the swatting by saying a stern no, or you will end up with a boxer cat. lol
@@FactsaboutCatsVideos You're welcome. I am hoping to train owners so that this beautiful cat can get rid of his reputation as being mean and aggressive. One thing I forget to say is to make sure you socialize them right from the get go. This way they will learn to be acceptive of strangers in the home. They are a very protective breed, which is their history. So again, what is seen as an aggressive behavior is the cat's nature to protect it's family.
It is very very wrong to not let cats outdoors! If you don't live in a neighborhood where cats can be outside you should never get a cat! Doesn't it sound horrible to live in a cage your whole life?
I live on my sailboat with my Siamese and she actually very quiet. She is very communitive and lets me know exactly what she wants. She has a perch at one of the portlights (windows) that now as the weather is getting warmer, I leave open for her so she can go on deck and play.
When I was a child, I saw a baby Siamese cat at a pet shop. I fell in love with him and it was meowing at me like it wanted me to take it with me. But I was a child and my parents weren't really welcoming to pets. All these years, I promised myself that my first cat will be a Siamese and that cat was a sign :) It's been 10 years and now I'm adopting one! I'm waiting for a baby Siamese cat to get enough milk from her mama, after that, her next home will be my house!
@bethmiller7544 oh wow i can't even remember commenting this. I only have one at the moment and if I get financially more available in the near future, why not have 2 Siamese? 😂 well she became a big part of my life and I'd try to do everything I can to make her happier
I love my Siamese cats. We foster and now have four Siamese cats. We couldn’t find a home for the two kittens which is how we have four now. We have two that are Bluepoint and two that are flame point. They are wonderful, definitely vocal. When they want me to pet them they will literally jump up into my arms. And one of them plays fetch just like a dog would. 💓
You are right in all aspects 😊.My husband and I bought 2 from a breeder, they were siblings, Charlie is lilac point and Samantha is blue a point. They will be 16 yrs old this yr and still very active . Their main health issue was their teeth. We had to have their molars removed due to decay. They are smart and can do simple tricks, like sit, kiss, shake hands, turn around when asked😊.They are the love of my life and my husband's. I enjoyed your upload , agreed with everything you said,so I subscribed.😄😄😄🙏✌️
I got my Siamese from a shelter 6 years ago when he was 3, best decision of my life! He's the best cat I've ever had 😊 I just love our relationship, he is so sweet and funny
I could testify how active this cat breed is. We have 12 cats and there's one siamese. She is hard to contain and can literally do double air spin especially when she's happy. She's also very fast and agile (with her back muscles she developed from her activities), you can't outrun her when she escapes their room so you do the reverse psychology 'cause the more you chase, the faster she'd run lmao The only cat in our house that you'd find at the top of the door, like HOW can she even fly there? She's very sweet, but definitely psycho 😩
I bought my first Siamese kitten and I must confess he is the most sweetest and loving cat ever he loves attention and cuddles 💚🥰 it will not have a problem being alone since I have two dogs and they love him already .
I adopted a Blue Point Siamese from a shelter many years ago and she's been an unique part of our family. At 18 plus years she is very healthy and I believe even more vocal than ever, which is interesting as I thought Blue Points were more calmer than Seal Points.
I adopted Paprika, my Siamese cat when she was a kitten and now she’s 4 years old. Someone abandoned her on my street and I took her in. She’s now a healthy and gorgeous cat, and the best friend and companion I could ever have. She’s super friendly, chatty and funny-always coming up with something and making everyone laugh. She also adapted super well to our dog, a 12 year old cocker spaniel, and they are friends.
Had a siamese female. Gorgeous eyes that would blare in red. A loyal pet and partner to a neigbor's cat, a protective mother, and a great mouse killer. Kinda missed her whenever I see any cats.
We actually found our Siamese baby boy Jude in a shelter in SE Louisiana. He’s cross eyed, vocal and an absolute bully when he feels like it. He’s our little prince. We have three cats and two dogs and Judeeboi rules the roost. He’s so precious 😎❤️😘 Edited: our boy loves iPad fish or mouse catching games. Also watching television about wildlife
@@FactsaboutCatsVideos I’m not joking, it is true. My cat like to practice how to open the door by jumping on top of the handler and use weight of body to move handler. I once left my key in my room so I cannot open the door from outside but my cat can still open the door for me from inside.
I can't explain how much they suit that funky music in the background, that inquisitive look, and slinky form. I'm really more into Himmies, Birmans, Norwegian Forest etc, but there's something about Siamese, they certainly like me, every time I've gone to a cat show, they've gone crazy for a cuddle and chatter to me and slunk miserable when I went away. I'm an INTJ so perhaps they are attracted to my brains lol.
My Siamese was fabulous. He was smart and learned tricks easily. His favorite activity was helping me build a wood fire on cold mornings. He absolutely loved our Collie dog and snuggled up with her every day. They both died years ago of old age but I miss them so. One day I will have another Siamese and another Collie.
They can also be trained to go to the bathroom in the toilet! They are very smart! They are very vocal and hold great conversations. They also like to hunt. I’ve been brought both a mouse and a bird. They love to cuddle. Watch the teeth. Best breed by far.
I found my Siamese in a bar (yes, you read that right) a month ago. The vet said he was about 5 weeks old. I’ve never owned a cat before until now but he is the sweetest thing. He is very vocal and very clingy!
Got mine at a shelter, Siamese mix with light brown coloring. He is usually quiet but will let you know if he needs something. Super affectionate and very curious. My mom always jokes that he is the family supervisor since he always comes to watch when we are doing chores and stuff
My siamese just showed up at my front door howling one day a few years ago. I was surprised she wasn't really scared of me. I decided to let her in because it was going to storm bad later on. Here we are years later and she doesn't leave me alone. Surprisingly she's not a very vocal cat like other siamese. I get plenty of chill TV time while she sleeps on my lap lol. Don't get me wrong, when she wants something she'll let me know. Otherwise not bad at all. I'm pretty fortunate in that area lol
Yep, This video is accurate. We have three. We love them all. It’s true that they want to be with you and they follow you around. They love to converse with anyone who will listen, even when you don’t want to. Mine watch TV with the family and try to talk to the people on it. It is hilarious. Visitors cannot believe our cats do this stuff. They are fabulous with children but then again, mine have been raised with them. Do you like to cuddle? Well, this breed likes it too. Thank goodness we have three because the kids get a cat apiece at bedtime. The kids don’t choose who will sleep with them, that choice is left to each cat. It’s the weirdest thing to watch the precession of tails and PJ’s walking down the hall going to bed... together. I think these cats are perfect companions.
My daughter and i just brought home a little baby Siamese. He is so sweet. He was basically thrown in our laps. Too small to be away from mama I'm sure. He's doing so good though, very outgoing, rambunctious, vocal and super sweet & social little snuggle bug. He's even rubbed off on our older kitty who's used to being a spoiled only child. He's the only other cat I've ever seen her play with, groom or befriend at all. Also my 10 yr old daughter is absolutely in love with him! So happy we brought this little guy home.
My Siamese cat, Batman, is a rescue but I work 12 hour shifts and even though I buy him new toys every week I was worried that he was lonely so I got another rescue cat, Tinkerbell. They are both very happy in their forever home.
My Siamese is very intelligent. I've never had a cat as smart as her. She is quite sassy too. She may be only 12 pounds but no one messes with her lol.
My Siamese found me last summer 😊… my boyfriend and I hopped in the car a started driving and all of the sudden we heard this loud cry, it was so loud I remember saying is there a kitten in the car somewhere? We quickly realized that there was a kitten only a few weeks old in the bushes covered in thorns on the side of the road balling… I grabbed him and took him home and gave him a bath … luckily i already had cats at home and my girl had kittens his age, so she adopted him as her own ,nursed and took care of him along with the rest of her litter ❤️… he’s such a sweet and smart boy …. Very different from my other cats , Follows me everywhere, talks to me all day , very intelligent… Im so glad he chose me ❤… I love my babies ❤❤
My Siamese was an evil kitten, but as he grew he became sweet and would respond when I spoke to him. They are amazing cats to anyone that wants a true companion. They seem to really appreciate good catfood and getting a new toy.
I know what you mean just got a Siamese Kitten she is now 11 weeks old and i am sure she is possessed one minute she is friendly then she just attacks us and everything that moves so much so my 8 year old daughter is afraid to play with her hope she grows out of this soon as my hands are ripped to shreds 😂😂
@@bangkokdoug2049 she could be the runt of her litter. I babysat one and I swear that thing needed to be put on Ridalen. A year later he was a laid back kitty. He wasn't a Siamese though. A Siamese will usually always be a bit of a stinker 😉😺...mine was, I adored her.
@@tlc6756 Nice one she is fine now think it was just her settling in period 😂 She does have the heart of a lion though where other cats are concerned she takes no messing and is very territorial. 😂😂
I just adopted a Beautiful Siamese Cat ❤❤❤❤❤ 😊😊 💕😘💕😘 Thanks for this amazing and informational video. I love learning more about my new family member's 😊😊
I have a Russian blue mixed with Burmese and omg he talks all the time if I knew he was a siamese but I’d never get rid of him because I rescued him and he’s my life. Thanks for this video I needed to learn more.
We all hate to do this to them, but keeping cats indoors more than doubles their life expectancy. I think the best compromise is a safe, fun outdoor enclosure and a daily walk on a leash. Be sure the enclosure has shade, fresh water, a sunny spot or two, some high perches and things to climb, and insulated shelter from rain and cold, a small dog-igloo is good. Grass is great (chemical-free!), too, if none occurs naturally, you can grow cat-safe grass. I think a roofed one is best, but at least have some wire-fencing on top, they can climb, jump and dig their way out of many carelessly-designed or built enclosures.
I have a beautiful Siamese named Frankie. He's a seal point. He loves to play hide and seek and loves belly rubs. I also have a seal point long haired cat. I think she's a rag doll (caught her outside before winter) or she's a himalayan. They're great cats to have
i got my siamese at my local shelter when he was 3. he’s 10 now and has been the absolute best companion i could have wished for. we’ve been through so much together, even a shooting 😅 he’s moved with me to 5 different places now and has always come right back, even after 24 hours. he’s not overly affectionate, but he low key is. the most chill cat ever. i love you mr. kitty! thanks for always sticking with me and accepting our other roommates through the years. (even when they’re annoying pomeranians)
I just got a Siamese kitten from my local animal shelter today for my cat to have a playmat. Im beyond excited for the journey we will have. He is adorable
Love the Tonkinese mention! I had a sweet Tonkinese male who looked just like a Siamese.. only a bit darker. Loud, sweet, and loyal. I miss him every day! I just took in a female Siamese and she differs in personality very much- aside from loud. Lol.
We have 5 siamese cat. And the old one is already 10 years old. Indeed they are super active and noisy cats hahahaha but we love them so much. 💕 thanks for creating and sharing this video 😊
I have had Siamese most of my life, from the 50's to now 2022. I would have no other breed. The crossed eyes and a kink in the tail is my sign of a pure Siamese.
Yes, I agree 😃….. however, when i was young, our only Siamese (which we had several) with both these traits, was a product of incest. Her brother was her father. 1st litter male with his still not spayed mother. We owned her (the mother’s) brother too but neutered, Our female with these traits was the 2nd litter. We know this bc it was our neighbor cat’s litter. Every single kitten of that 2nd litter had these traits discussed. Maybe a coincidence but I always associated the traits with her with MR (our girl) resulting from incest. Then again, I am much wiser now and that was a long time ago.
My Siamese was all of these characteristics except he cuddling...that would happen on his own terms. He did well with the dog we brought in when he was two years old, missed her when she was gone. He didn't seem too lonely but we always interacted with him regularly.
We just got a young seal point. She is beautiful and NOISY. I've always wanted one & this lil girl has not disappointed. I love how vocal they are even though she wakes the family up every night hahaha.
I found my Siamese cat underneath a crawl space where my apartment building is he was a dump off and I named him mocha after the coffee and he is my sweetheart and I love him
I had such an amazing Siamese/Himalayan mix. Got him when he was 2 and had the privilege of having him around for 17 years. He was perfect. He was not that vocal, loved to run around the house, always knew when I was upset. So many fond memories. I want to get another cat, but I'm still not quite ready. I'll always love that cat, he was my Shaq.
I feel this a lot. I lost my grey tabby in the last week. I had her for 16 years but our local humane society really needs some adoptions to go through and I'm looking at taking in a Siamese they rescued.
Thank you so much for making this video! Every single fact you said is absolutely true! They are truly the best companions and require a lot of love and attention! A truly wonderful video! ❤️❤️❤️
Glad you really enjoyed it. Thanks for the beautiful comment! :)

I found my Siamese cat in the back of a gas station. He was crying. I rescued him and now he is my sweet little baby

I just adopted my Siamese from a shelter and she’s the biggest sweetheart. She’s a recent amputee after being hit by a car as a stray before she was brought in to the shelter and I love her even more because of that. I’m so happy to be her hero and mom 🥺
Congratulations on giving the little soul a new and happy life!
Thank you for that :-) I am not a Christian person, but god bless your soul^^
God bless you for being a blessing to your kitty. 🥰 so sweet.
Thank you for loving and saving her.
Tripod kitties are best kitties.
That's such a beautiful story!
That's our story as well. We love our boy!
I was a single father; became so when my daughter was barely 3. We adopted a Seal-Point Siamese Kitten as a companion. As it turned out, the Siamese Cat helped me raise my little girl! Therefore, I think Siamese cats are fantastic! (I love all cats, but my favorite breed is Siamese. )🐱👍🏻
They can make your life 10000 times more beautiful!
@@FactsaboutCatsVideos They absolutely can! 🐱👍🏻😻
By the way, I had forgotten to mention, she DID have a name. . . . 😸 Her name was Cleo.
@Milly May You're very welcome, Milly. 😻
That's really great! Thanks for sharing it!

They also lose their value over time.
So it’s a terrible investment.
Better to buy a 304 then have your fun for the night. Then walk away with you dignity and portfolio in tact.
They are so talkative and such a stalker LOL and I love them. You will never be lonely.
Yes they are. All Thai cats are like that 😂😻

My husband and I have a male seal point siamese. We found him as a kitten on the side of the road. He was around 2 months when we found him. The poor thing was so skinny and covered in fleas. He is now a healthy and happy 9 month old mischievous, talkative bundle of energy. We absolutely adore him
So nice of you to give the little fella a new life to enjoy! :)
@@bayonetababe9697 I can't even imagine not having ours . He has been such a blessing to our family
same happened with ours! we found him on our driveway at about 2 months of age. He was coughing because of the cold weather (beginning of October). We decided to keep him after looking for his original owners. He's full of energy and he has a mischievous personality :D

My Kratos will be 15 in June. He’s my sweetheart. He is definitely the most vocal cat I’ve ever had. He’s a great big brother to his Calico sister.

My siamese cat wasn't really sweet. But she's very jealous whenever my other cats go near me. She owns me, I guess. Haha.
Uhm... it should be the other way around you furry
Mine is not sweet at all
She loves you.
Very good point!

Got my siamese for 2 months now. Very talkative, playful and stubborn. He will show affection every morning and before sleeping. Love this breed.

We brought home a Siamese kitten last week along with her littermate, a tabby. The are about 10 weeks old and were rescued off the streets. They are slowly being introduced to our other (adult) cats and Yorkies. All of them are rescues also. 😻

i was thinking of getting a ragdoll, when a family up the road had a litter of ragdolll cross siamese.
I wish I'd gotten 2, but she was the last, and 2 would've been very expensive
I have always had Siamese cats that have lived long lives. My current Siamese cat named Sasha (her mothers name was Tasha) just turned 21 years old on 1/21/22. Her twin sister Chloe passed when she was 18 years old. Everything you say is true. She has learned to use my iPad.
He doesnt play much almost like he lost his confidence and sleeps a lot, doesnt really trust anyone but me, not aggressive whatsoever i just wish i could figure out how to make him enjoy life a little more
you gave him a second chance at life, I think just having you around him makes his life more enjoyable :)
Get him a siamese brother....they need another cat to bond with and be happy!

As long as their food, water, and kitty litter is taken care of they should be ok. They just may wanna sleep with you though.
Also correct the swatting by saying a stern no, or you will end up with a boxer cat. lol
Thanks for sharing this! :)

We have two Siamese kittens at our house. Both are boys and twins! One is fluffy and the other is short haired. They are really fun and playful.
I adopted a Blue Point Siamese from a shelter many years ago and she's been an unique part of our family. At 18 plus years she is very healthy and I believe even more vocal than ever, which is interesting as I thought Blue Points were more calmer than Seal Points.
I don't think colors matter 😁
This is so sweet! Thanks for sharing :)
Siamese cats are unbelievable smart, my one can open door from inside when I forgot my key and locked outside.
Nice :)))
Yeah my Siamese isn't very vocal until she wants something. And she is such a lap cat!
I want to out Disney for giving Siameses such a bad rep
These are the absolute best cat on the planet
I rescued my Siamese, Bobby, 8 years ago. He's a wobbly cat and the coolest!
I had my first seal point at 5 been hooked ever since.
I honestly don't know if I'd still be alive without my siamese cats. They are the most sweet, innocent, loving creatures I've ever known.
That's so sweet!
They are very smart I have a brother and sister 5 year olds... half Siamese and half Tabby. Beautiful cats. Very smart and talkers. Loving. 🤗🥰 🐈 🐈 .
“Bright and intense blue eyes” yes! My baby named “carmiel” and his eyes are intense! Wonderful, Thank you for content !
My Siamese is very intelligent. I've never had a cat as smart as her. She is quite sassy too. She may be only 12 pounds but no one messes with her lol.
We are going to adopt a thai (siamese) cat in September! I heard a lot of positive things about these cats and I’m really looking forward to see her🥰
My Siamese found me last summer 😊… my boyfriend and I hopped in the car a started driving and all of the sudden we heard this loud cry, it was so loud I remember saying is there a kitten in the car somewhere?

Nice one she is fine now think it was just her settling in period 😂
She does have the heart of a lion though where other cats are concerned she takes no messing and is very territorial.
They're great cats to have
Maybe your long haired Siamese is a Balinese! I have one myself
Super informative video about Siamese cats! Thanks for creating and sharing it!!! 😄🎉❤️
Glad you enjoyed it!
i got my siamese at my local shelter when he was 3. he’s 10 now and has been the absolute best companion i could have wished for. we’ve been through so much together, even a shooting 😅 he’s moved with me to 5 different places now and has always come right back, even after 24 hours. he’s not overly affectionate, but he low key is. the most chill cat ever. i love you mr. kitty! thanks for always sticking with me and accepting our other roommates through the years. (even when they’re annoying pomeranians)
I just got a Siamese kitten from my local animal shelter today for my cat to have a playmat. Im beyond excited for the journey we will have. He is adorable
Great for you!
That's awesome! Glad you enjoyed it! :)
I found my Siamese cat abbandonned by his mother and I love him with all my heart
I had a Siamese cat who also had a kink tail that’s how he got his name kinker
My Siamese was all of these characteristics except he cuddling...that would happen on his own terms. He did well with the dog we brought in when he was two years old, missed her when she was gone. He didn't seem too lonely but we always interacted with him regularly.
Great!
I sent this to my brother because he loves cats so he would probably love this video!
Excellent video! I like the fact that you recommend keeping cats indoors and getting a cat from a shelter.
Glad you enjoyed it :)
My oriental siamese talks nonstop, and is always at my side. ❤️❤️
