Do you guys water your cats with a drinking fountain. I got my cat a fountain and now she drinks like a fish and pisses up a storm... in her box. But seriously cats really do prefer drinking running water. It's supposed to help prevent the urinary track infections.
Hi Jonathan! We do have a drinking fountain but Momo prefers drinking from a bowl. We change the water for him twice a day to ensure it stays fresh. You are correct, water intake is one of the most important things to do to prevent urinary issues.
After reading this comment. I got up and changed my cat's drinking water. Ha, 😝🤪, I have to do that more often. I use bottle water, because I have city water, and I do not drink the city water, because it is full of chloride and rust. So if I do not drink it, I do not want my pets do drink it.
My mother used to have a Siamese that would only drink freshly drawn water. She used fill up a glass on water, for him, but other times he would wait outside the bathroom door and somebody came along, At that point, he would jump on the sink and lap up the water as it came fresh from the tap.
That is what I had to do, plus add a little bit of water to my cat's wet food, to keep him from forming bladder stones and infections. He had kidney disease most of his life, 14 years of his 16 years. That's my Noah, in my icon.
I'm 74 and have cats 'just come to me, never bought one. But they were ALWAYS not Siamese. Sadly, because of moving around and in NO PETS ALLOWED apartments" until last month I had remained catless for rhe last 15 years. So sad without a cat in my old age. BUT last month I spotted a STRAY Seal point kitten roaming in the ivy hedge in our apartment parking lot. OH BOY!!! Within ten minutes I had food, milk and a makeshift carton house by it's home in the hedge. Long story short, my life is full now as this beautiful Siamese lives indoors with me in my previously lonely apartment. She has me totally trained already to be her entertainment, her food provider and, only at her discretion, her cuddler. I like to think that The Universe gave me this wonderful companion here in my latter years. I'm SO VERY GREATFUL.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful story! I'm so glad that your baby found you. I'm the same as you though... Cats just find me and I can never say no 😅 My husband is now in charge of quantity control.
@@camptube7621 Besides being smart, if you haven't already discovered, they are VERY photogenic. My Mookie actually poses for me. When using my phone camera she SEEMS to know what is happening and gets extra cute.
@BowHead Sully Thank you for your response. As much as I love my little siamese, I agree with you about some non siamese (plain old 'alley cats') those that I have know did seem a bit more ' deep ' and less self centered than these bluebloods. A few of my plain cats in the past have been intuitive regarding my moods and needs. Almost like they were my protectors or my nurses. This current Siamese is very self centered. But what she lacks in personality she makes up in beauty. 💜✌😊
meow meow I have a siamese mix. She was rescued from a bad place.I have had her for seven years and I love her too I named her Babycat. They are definately different
I adopted a female Siamese kitten rescue at 8 weeks and it’s honestly the best decision I’ve ever made. She’s not that vocal as some but she’s so intelligent.. so loving and so much fun. She’s literally my best friend. We do everything together because she literally follows me everywhere while dodging everyone else 😂😂 I’ve never had such a special connection with an animal before. I love her so much. She saved me as much as I saved her.
Adopted my Siamese cat after he got hit by a car and his owners didn’t want him anymore. The workers at the rescue said they reported him being destructive and a “bad cat”. I’ve never had this problem though! I think he just didn’t get enough attention, as Siamese really are co-dependent on human interaction and affection. As long as he gets his daily morning cuddles and gets to tell me about his day, he’s a happy boy. Adopting him was the best decision I ever made, I couldn’t imagine life without him now!
@@MomoSiamese These cats want and deserve attention. Basically if you can't handle a small dog, you cannot handle one of these cats. They demand as much attention. This is not a cat to assume will simply sleep all the time.
I was owned by a Siamese for twenty years. Suki was literally my best friend. A truly wonderful and aware little being. I can't say enough good things about Siamese.
We have two Siamese seal point (brother and sister Oslo & Maya) who are now 4.5 years old. We first met them when they were one month old and we fell head over heels in love. They are the most loving and affectionate cats we have ever had. It’s very clear who runs the house!
Thanks, Dann ! Ski was a Seal Point as well. Wonderful beings. At times I really feel that they are here to help us with our emotional stability. There are many people who would be in far better shape if they were simply issued a Siamese Cat.
I has a Siammese cat ! It's name was SUKI too Amazing I read this from you other person! I just adopted a Sencoond Siammese! Her name is SUTU ! She not very vocal at all ? She is now 8 months old! What an amazing kitten I want to keep learning
Whenever I met someone who claimed they were “not a cat person” I would bring them home to meet my two Siamese cats and the conversion into a cat lover would happen on the spot. I love all animals, I love all cats, but Siamese are pure magic! I miss them everyday! 💕🌈🙏
This just happened to me 😂 I’m a dog person or so I thought. This old lady is moving and asked if I was interested in her Siamese cat I went to visit the cat and get to know him and now I’m in my bed crying because I feel like I have a emotional connection to this cat that I don’t even know 😭 so I’m up doing research and putting things in my Amazon cart because I’m HIGHLY considering getting this cat ❤️
My dad always said he wasn't a pet person and most definitely that he hated cats. I brought home a very tiny cat from school, he said that he hated "that damn cat". After high school, I started to look for an apartment but Dad always found something wrong with them. He finally told me that I could move but "the damn cat" was staying with him.
Totally true, I'm already a cat person, but probably If I saw those Siamese cats I'd get emotional and starting crying from happiness, cuteness and nostalgia. I had a Siamese cat, he absolutely changed my life. His companion, love and character made me the happiest person, I'll always remember him. Feeling the same, I love animals and cats since then are my favourite animal. Finally, Siamese are wonderful, they are an extremely rare beauty, intelligent, social and I love the connection they can have with ppl, they are so special 🥺💔
Them being vocal is one of my favorite things about them, so if you're considering getting one, don't take it as a negative at all! Every time you come home, your little Siamese will have a lovely chat with you. I like to think mine was asking "hey, I missed you! Where were you? Did you have fun?" stuff like that. It's sooooo cute and sweet.
I had a Mai cat too , the first cat I ever fell in love with . She was a card ... loved her to pieces . She contracted vaccine site sarcoma , we fought together so hard . She passed away from it ... but didn’t leave me , one night when I was laying in bed super depressed , I felt a cat jump on my bed ( we had no cats at the time ) felt the cat feet walk up my bed and flop down behind my head ( where Mai cat always slept ) and heard her purring ... I knew it was her because she never learned to purr correctly ... the depression lifted and I fell asleep . She knew I needed her and came across the veil to help me . More love I can’t imagine.
As a Siamese cat mama, I can honestly say they have been our family’s favorites since I was 10 years old. I cannot live without a Siamese cat. They are chatty, bratty, and OH SO LOVABLE!
Five cats have condescended to live with us. Two Siameseses, (traditional, seal point) a dark grey/charcoal Maine Coon, a Russian Blue and a black American Shorthair. Right now the Siameseses are sitting on my lap or trying to put their face in my beard as I sit here typing this comment. Off to play. They are special.
Very interesting video. I had a siamese cat when I was about 9 years of age called Suki. She was traditional but lighter brown than Momo. She had a slight burn on her side and the breeder was going to put her to sleep but my dad said, no keep her and I'll take her home when she is old enough. He told me, but not my mum who was not overly fond of cats and it was our secret until the night she came home. I was thrilled to have her and she was so cute even my mum came round in the end. I love siamese cats as they are so clever and talkative. Have not had one since and watching this makes me want one now.
It's so tender, unlike those little birds, which to me sound like they come from hell. I don't know it just sounds like a glass shard scraping against a blackboard and they do it at 5-7 in the morning-the most ungodly hour I hope he eliminates them from my life
I love all cats, and have owned 17 through my life. My last two were a brother/sister seal-point Siamese (Thai-style) pair. They both died a year ago at 18. I miss them every day. Once you get a Siamese, you'll never want another type of breed.
Sorry for your loss! Totally agree with you! I have only ever had Siamese (given my first one when I was a teenager) I have had a brother (Blue Point) and sister (Lilac Point) for the last 16 years and lost the Girl 11 months ago and I miss her so much even now.
@@Siamesebutter Sorry for your loss too. Her brother surely misses her too. It's been a year for me. Life is so much better with Siamese cats. They aren't just couch ornaments, but are deep souls with whom we have a relationship. So loyal and communicative. Everywhere I go in the house, they're always within a foot and a half of me. In the bathroom on the counter watching me shave. In the kitchen on the counter watching me cook. They have 300 word vocabulary they skillfully use to communicate with us. They love each other too and are always spooning with each other while sleeping, and grooming each other in the parts they can't reach. I'll get another pair in 6 months or so. I haven't decided yet on the Thai-style Siamese, like I've had, or maybe trying the modern Siamese this time.
@@usjet333 Absolutely! I have taken thousands of photos of the numerous and inventive Cuddle positions my two have acheived over the years ...looking back on these fills me with joy :)
The American... Ah, I have to disagree about only wanting Siamese once you have one. I've had MANY cats throughout my life, all strays that wandered across my path. Tabbies, calicos, torties, a ginger, two short-haired whites. I now have a fancy pedigree Siamese that needed a home and TAG!, I was it! He's the last Siamese I'll ever own. Not everyone is fond of them. I suppose I am just too accustomed to the basic tabby, street rescue type of cat. Having a Siamese is like having a cat that isn't really a traditional cat. He's a completely different animal than what I'm used to in a cat. No head bumps, no kitty nose kisses. In fact, he HATES being kissed. He moves like lightning ALL THE TIME! I can't count the number of times that he's almost tripped me because of his speed-demon habit of racing across the floor without warning. I sometimes tell him that he's lucky he isn't extremely vocal. I was VERY concerned about that when I agreed to adopt him. But he's probably the smartest cat I've ever had, and now that he's 3 years old, he enjoys lap sitting more and more. He's a great bedtime cuddler too. But yeah, no more Siamese for me.
@@jaytee2642 I wonder though that because your Siamese has been cycled through a number of owners, perhaps his initial rearing has something to do with his skittishness right now. Vets say that a kitten's character is created in the first 6 weeks of its life, before it ever gets adopted. In that time, the kitten will determine whether he seeks and initiates human affection; or just tolerates it; or moves to avoid it altogether. Once its character is formed, while it can be made worse through abuse and neglect, it can unfortunately never be improved. Responsible breeders know this, and make sure newborn kittens get plenty of gentle nurturing human affection, allowing them to sleep in their bed with them, and not allowing small children to tease and mishandle them. This kind of care takes time and attention, which means good breeders can't crank out dozens of litters at a time in kitten mills, but rather just raise one litter at a time. Therefore, high quality pure bred cats are expensive. Mine cost $1000 each 20 years ago. I've had some wonderful rescue cats, but I've also had some real duds. And I'm not discouraging anyone from avoiding rescues. I have deep sympathy for them too, and maybe will get more. I'm just saying getting a rescue includes some risk, because you don't know how it was raised during its first 6 weeks alive. Then, you bring it home and love the cat, only to find out it has some horrible habits, like avoiding people, destroying furniture, or peeing on the carpet. Then what do you do? I'm kind of stuck with it at that point because I'd feel to guilty returning it to the pound only to be euthanized. Spending the money on a pure bred from a reputable breeder who raises one litter at a time eliminates a lot of that risk. Just sayin. Most of my cats have been rescues; I have plenty of adoration for them too. I love all cats. The other thing unique to Siamese is they are a "one-man cat". For whatever reason, they pick one human, and give 95% of all their love, attention, and affection to that one human, and no one else. For example, my Siamese cat George's heart first belonged to my wife. He didn't want much to do with me. Then we divorced and I moved in with my brother. I'm a pilot and am gone a lot, so George's heart belonged only to my brother. Even on weekends when my brother was away, George would still sleep alone on his bed. Even though he was technically my cat, he wouldn't sleep in my room with me. Later I moved alone into my own place, and it was only then, after George was 6 years old, did he give his heart to me. And he's been the most loyal, loving, and affectionate cat to me I've ever known -- a really special cat. So, maybe your Siamese will come around for you. Maybe his heart still belongs to his previous owner and he misses him. But, like my boy George, your Siamese too will give 100% of his heart to you, especially if he has no other options. It's a bit disconcerting, I know. My own cat George ignored me for 6 years. But once I became the only human available, and he decided to give his heart to me, I finally learned for myself why Siamese are so special, loving, and loyal -- the greatest cats in the world. Siamese are truly a one-person cat; you just have to accept that going into it.
Definitely very particular about their routines as well as designated areas. She has places she'll sleep in, places where she goes to play, and places that are for attention. She has a box she likes to sit in and observe, a box she likes to play in (she herself gathers her toys and puts into it), and a box that she likes to sleep in. There are a few specific places where she will go, lie down, and start meowing super loudly for attention. That means come HERE and LOVE ME. She won't always let you pet her, but when she's in one of those spots (one, oddly enough, being the doormat), that's time to come and pet her. Obviously on her own terms.
My sister had a pair of Siamese kitties and there is no other cat like a Siamese. I loved them so much. They were more like little people and VERY affectionate. And the conversations you have with them! 😂 One if my sister’s cat was very cross eyed, but that did not seem to stop him. I saw him jump and catch a fly in his paw!
Great advice for anyone thinking about getting a Siamese! I've been 'owned' by Siamese and Siamese-cross my whole life. They are adorable, but you have to keep them occupied. 'the devil makes work for idle paws' ;)
We currently have a 14 year-old Maine Coon (male, 11 pounds), 13 year-old American Shorthair (female, 8 pounds), 5 year-old American Shorthair (male, 15 pounds), and a 3-year old Siamese (Male, 17 pounds). We got the Siamese because the next youngest cat needed a playmate, as the older two were not interested in roughhousing. Those two young ones got along well, but as soon as the Siamese got too big he started bullying the older two. The Maine Coon is the most gentle cat I've ever seen and I don't know why the aggression is so bad. The Siamese literally hunts him and rips out fur. It's so bad that we keep the Siamese in out basement now, with the one cat able to go back and forth between the two groups.
Oliver he was more tradional. Slim long legged features siamese but black. Loved people. So talkative. Gentle. But playful. Like a dog. Throw cotton bud chase pick up bring back throw and repeat. Loved playing with dogs. Children was a dream my best cat ever. Miss him xx
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss... Losing a pet is a pain like no other. We've been there before as well. We're sending you lots of love and support from South Africa!
Katie I’m so so sorry, I completely relate as both of my Siamese passed a few years ago and I still miss them everyday! Clearly you gave her an amazing, love filled life for her to live to 18, so she couldn’t have asked for a better mom! She is still with you and always will be, another guardian Angel! Sending you much healing energy and a warm hug! 🙏🌈
@@lolacookie453 thanks for the kind words, means a lot ❤️ I feel guilty everyday because she had to be put down as she had end stage kidney failure and I have no idea how long she was suffering for 😔
@@katielouise2036 I went through the throes of guilt as well once each of them passed. Regardless of how much one does for them (which I’m sure was everything and beyond on your part) there will always be the “but what if I had only...” “why didn’t I...” but those feelings only come from someone who truly cared and loved those fur babies to the moon and back. So you have to give yourself some grace and know you did everything to give her the best, long life possible. I know there is nothing I can say to help you feel better, words are empty when you feel like you’re gutted. What I can say is honor the sad feelings, don’t push them away, it’s healthy to mourn and honor the loss of that life. However, just know that one day you will laugh and smile again when you remember her, the laughter and warmth you feel will far outweigh any sadness because at the end of the day joy and love is what they bring to our lives in life and once they have departed. Be kind and patient with yourself and surround yourself with people who understand what you’re going through, the ones who don’t, never will and are sadly missing out! Once again I send you much healing energy and light your way 🙏🌈💕
……my fave breed! Have had Seal Points’ nearly my whole life. Really great cats’ they are……… Was given a 🐈 rescue now, as I couldn’t refuse her. She’s very spoilt, loves her head kisses’, & ‘talks’ to me constantly! Excellent ‘watch cat’. So, too, were the Siamese………
I adopted an undersocialized adult Siamese cat. Had her for a little over two months and she has yet to meow. I’m hoping with time and trust she will find her voice.
3 mos ago I adopted 2 Siamese cats that came from a hoarding house. They are approx. 2 yrs old. Only 1 meows and that is rarely (a couple times a week). Neither of them purr. They make little "trilling" noises to communicate with each other.
@@mspeeps9634 ahh that’s interesting! Mine is already 9 years old and also came from a hoarding situation. She doesn’t purr either. I can only pet her while she eats otherwise I’ll get swatted lol but we are working on it. I’m wondering if adopting a more socialized cat will teach her how to be a little more trusting.
We adopted a 5-year old pure Siamese female rescue who had been brought to SPCA twice before we too her home. She was over anxious and scared for 1 ½ years before she started talking and showing affection. Now, she is quite vocal and expects to be treated as the princess she was born to be. She was also very destructive at the beginning, eating out pillows, carpet, towels. We have learned to catproof the house!. Be patient and loving and you will have a totally different cat in a couple of months !
Aw, poor little darling, she’ll relax and be miaowing till cows come home before you know it. I miss my lilac point girl so much, would get another in a heartbeat but my dog has adjusted to being the only pet.
All cats, even wild cats, will communicate by a short purr or trill sound. I can teach you: 1) Open your mouth a little and vibrate the back of your tongue like you are trying to "hock up" some spit (I know, eww). 2) Slow the vibration of the back of your tongue until you get a thicker "guuul" sound, almost like a motor sound (make sure your tongue is wet). 3) Continue making the "guuul" sound over and over while you slightly close your mouth. 4) Do not close your mouth completely - shape your lips as if you are about to whistle. 5) Let all of the air escape through your pursed lips with every long "guuul" sound. You should have it! As you get better, you can even learn to "purr" this way!
I have had my almost grown Siamese kitten for about two months now. Oreo is my buddy, he likes to sleep with me nightly and is almost like a guard cat. I have taught him some words of my traditional Native American Indian language and he responds well. I definitely need to keep him entertained. He is intelligent, playful and prefers a stable routine.
I've had many cats over the decades. Love them all! One was a Seal point Siamese reject that found her way into my life. Very sick and with dermatitis, I nurtured her back to health. Wonderful and vocal, we talked to each other through the years. Gorgeous girl! I will always miss her.
I had a female Siamese for over 20 years, she was my best buddy and helper through many adventures, plus the best lap warmer ever. But all things come to and end, and now I have a big male Chantilly Tiffany who has taken over quite well as a lap warmer, and friend extraordinaire for life.
My Siamese bonded with my rabbit…. And they were the best of friends. When my bun passed suddenly, she was lost. She is very bonded to me… always has to be close to me when sleeping… which is not always comfortable.
I was chosen by my Siamese Lewis. During lockdown he was happy and the star of all Teams meetings. He is always besides me, when I go to bed, he is always right by my side and keeps one paw on my shoulder. Most intelligent cat I ever have had, my best friend, love him so much.
I have 2 siamese kittens and I found them on the street. They were 1-2 months old and they are almost juniors now.I just took them home without considering anything but they are really smart and playful.Definately a plus to own one of these kittens
Siamese are hard to rescue. I've been searching in shelters for over a year and they are snatched up so fast! I found a rescue that specializes in Siamese but you have to adopt with another non Siamese with them.
We groom our 3 Siamese daily and we have been doing it since they were kittens. Even though they really do not need it, they love it. The major reason we started it was because we wanted to desensitize them so they were used to being touched. We also asked friends to come by and play with them. This way they got used to being handled by strangers. We included giving them mock vet exams so they would not be alarmed when the actual vet examined them. They are older cats now but they still act like kittens, just a little slower. Our family loves them and they seem happy. We still pay them a lot of attention but we have a lot of people who are willing to give it to them. These are really fabulous and amazing cats.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I think we could have done better to desensitize our cats to certain things. We'll try to do better if we ever have another kitten.
Our Lynx point Siamese is the most loving and vocal cat we have ever had. But she has a dark side. She was expelled from our original vet clinic for hissing at the staff there. Now we use a vet that comes to our home, and we medicate Meli before the visit so that the vet can handle her. Still one of our favorites in spite of the challenges.
We breed Siamese cats. We have two Seal points, a blue point, a lilac point, a lynx point (kitten) all our breeding queens then we have our Chocolate point male. So l think it is safe to say we have a vocal household, but love our fur babies.
Siamese cats are very hard to find in shelters as well. I've came across one shelter that rescues Siamese but you have to adopt with another non Siamese. They are a high demand breed I've been searching for over a year!!!!
I've had 3 Siamese cats, all rescues. My first was a small male from Germany that I rescued from his owners that didn't want him any longer. This was in the mid 70's and he died from what we now call FIV. The next rescue was from an adoption center and she was 5 weeks old and sick. They were going to put her down, but I volunteered to foster to adopt. I had her for 18 years and she had the herpes virus. These first two were both lilac points, the female, Jasmine, was slightly cross-eyed. The Siamese that I rescued in 2002 at one year old, is ancient now. He is totally blind, but gets around pretty well. He is very dark tan with seal points. None of mine have been big talkers, but this last one does more than the other 2 did. When he goes, I will not get another cat as I have 4 others that are in their early teens. I dearly loved all my Siamese. I guess it's safe to say I have always loved all my cats!
We had 2 snowshoe, a seal point and his sister, a lynx point, rescue from SPCA . They have great personalities and love those blue eyes. They are people-oriented more than the regular rescue cats I grew up with. Less vocal than pure bred Siamese but still ‘talks’.
I picked up a Siamese kitten. Well I didn’t know what kind of a cat she was till I watched your video. I suspected she might be Siamese or burmese. She must’ve been a couple of weeks old . She was in the middle of the road hunched up . Someone must have thrown her out to die . Her eyes were 2 balls covered in pass sitting outside their sockets . I took her home . Cleaned her up and sent her to the vet the next day . To make a long story short, her eyes were beyond help. She is blind now . Totally. she is playful and needs attention all the time . She also does not have a voice . At least, it is very faint . It may have been affected by the infection as well . Anyway, I hope she grows up to be like momo . I would like to train her to understand commands , to help her from falling and bumping into things because of her blindness.
I loved my seal point. It has my favorite color eyes, blue. It was very smart and I liked having him ask me for things. He would fetch. I loved the markings of Siamese. Unfortunately he passed after 16 years. But I enjoyed every year I had him and I'm glad that he died naturally and not have to be put down.
A Siamese cat seeking refuge knocked on my door yesterday, I thought it was Amazon putting a package by my door but I looked through the peep hole and all I saw was a bushy brown tail 😹 she's very vocal, when I went to bed she tried to keep me up talking all night long 😹😹😹 if I can't find her owner I will end up adopting her ❤
Lucky!!! I have been searching for a siamese in shelters for over a year. They get snatched up sooo fast. I found a rescue that specializes in siamese but you have to adopt them with a non Siamese cat.
@@prittyugly86 I'm not sure if it's a male or female neutered or spayed I assume it might be a girl tho, she was too stressed out to do her first exam, but I plan on going to another clinic and I want to see if they can scan her, she looks full bred and exactly like Momo.
My siamese cat died yesterday due to liver disease. He was only 1yr old. We tried everything to save him but no vet can help us. He was very sweet. He was an unusual one since he doesn’t talk alot but like most siamese he loves high places. It has been a day since we lost Dancho. I miss him so much. Never have I expected 2 weeks ago that this would happen.
So so sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is always painful but losing a kitten is just so extremely difficult. At least you gave him the best time of his life while you had him. Sending lots of love your way and I hope you can find a new fur buddy! ❤️❤️❤️
I have a female seal point, all is true, we just lost a couple feline and canine family members and my baby girl went into a depression. They are very sensitive....
Had two traditional Siamese brothers Maxx and Hobbes. Maxx had kidney problems and died at 11. Hobbes would walk around the house howling. This went on for months even though we had other cats. Hobbes missed his brother so much. So I got another Siamese kitten which Hobbes took to immediately. So Siamese need companions you will have your house destroyed if you leave for hours each day for work and only one cat. Even a dog as a friend will help. These Siamese cats are dogs with a college educations. They can unlock doors and turn lights on and off.
They are guardians and companion cats. Also very protective of their chosen human companion. Loving and social. Excellent hunters bring their victims home for your approval and food for the family.😉
I just lost my (almost 17 yr old) last month to health issues. She was a seal point Siamese/Himalayan. I miss her so much it hurts. She was so smart and sweet and brought so much joy and comfort to me. Had her since she was 7 weeks old.
My siamese is maybe 11 this year. What you're going through is my biggest fear and I think about it every day. I can only offer my condolences and the knowledge that you're not alone.
Excellent video! My family has been owned by 6 Siamese cats since the 1950's. All with different personalities. My sister and I got our 1st Siamese in 1956 when we were kids. He he let us dress him up in our dolls clothing, treat him like a baby and place him in a highchair and spoon feed him. He also let us put him in our doll strollers/buggies and push around the neighborhood. We grew up with him. As adults we had other adorable Siamese. But nothing like the Siamese of my childhood years.
Thank you so much for this video! 2 weeks ago we found a 6 week old kitten on the side of the road and our vet believes she is mostly Siamese. She is so vocal, very smart,, a bit cross eyed, and blue eyed! She really wants to be with us at all times. This video helps us understand her a bit more as she isn't just our first cat but our first Siamese cross.
What a lovely video. I'm a man of 75 now, living alone, and I've had Siamese in my life, singly and in yowling multiples, since I was 5. Wouldn't have it any other way. I'm also from South Africa, and have lived in Germany for the last 11 years. When we came over here, we flew the cats we had at the time over from SA - their tickets cost more than ours. We worried about how thery would take the flight, but we needn't have bothered. They handled it like a couple of frequent flyers. The two I have now are both Seal Point traditionals, and quite dark. I am, quite simply, their devoted slave.
I don't have color preference but I do prefer traditional. Funnily enough I adopted a traditional Siamese seal point off the street in Los Angeles this summer. We are pretty sure he is somewhere around 7 months old now and have had him since about 3 months old. He is the first cat our family has ever owned and we love him so much, he is called Kahlua. He is so smart and loves to be carried outside for walks and to sit by open windows. I had seen some of your videos before we even adopted him so I knew right away I would be able to train him, I have already trained him to sit and reach up to my hand for treats! We plan on trying to train him to use the toilet, lol. Thank you for sharing your journey with your Momo it has helped me understand my kitty better and how to care for him.
You definitely nail the Siamese personality type! We have 2 rescue Siamese kitties. We have a 5yo Chocolate point and a 9mo Seal point. They are amazing with my kids, and so intuitive. I have an autoimmune condition that attacks my joints, and when I am having a flare, they just know where I am hurting. They head right to the painful area, lay on it like a little heating pad and purr for hours. They are my little angels💙💙
I had a lilac lynx point with apple head for 20 years. The breeder dumped her and her brother because of an umbilical hernia. She reached out of her cage and snagged me and just kept talking. All your points are spot on. I used to sleep on my side and she would perch on my hip facing out and protect me. She was a great mouser too. I miss her so much.
We started with one Sienese male cat which we got from Thailand and the First day I met him he cames to me and kissed me immediately on my nose and he never stop to do that since that day. He is so closed to me that sometime I think there is a human being inside… After we adopt one Siamese female from Hanoi in Vietnam and they immediately loved each other and gave us 9 babes Siamese cats. Then, we gave 6 and we kept three. So, now we have 5 Siamese cats and they play together like creasy. They are so energetic. I teach one how to open a door and they often visit us at night in our bedroom Now. This cat decide for only one master. They give us a lot of happiness and pleasure.
The people lived in my childhood home previously left a Siamese cat behind. He was an outdoors cat who we gave food and would play with him. He was a beautiful cat and was loved by the entire neighborhood.
I adopted a 4 year old Ocicat. Bella is part siamese and part begal. She is a chatter box, gray eyes, beautiful coloring. She is truly a one person owner. I brought a rag doll kitten in to the house and Bella was so jealous. I fostered her for 3 weeks and thankfully got her adopted to a wonderful family. Bella has a precise schedule that she makes me stick to religiously. Your video was very helpful.
I got my just over one year blue point through a shelter that is not very clean. I chose her because she was clean and didn't have the dirty, half closed eyes that a lot of the other cats have. She slept under my bed for two weeks, still sometimes does, and for days stayed there not eating or using the litter box. After just after three weeks now she is more open, but still is not friendly, but demanding. Yes, and very vocal, which I find to be annoying. Like she doesn't understand when I am standing at the counter cutting up into tiny bite size pieces for her the chicken that I just boiled, that I am preparing it for her, so she will continue to meow at me with "I'm hungry for fresh chicken. Feed me!" She was homeless and skinny when brought to the shelter and put into a cage for three months because she did not get along with the other cats. If course not! She's a Siamese! Such a difference in class! So she wasn't played with as a kitten, and doesn't know how to play. She has stomach problems so I have to be very careful what I feed her. She appears to have asthma (snores whilst she is awake!), as happens with Siamese. I have a huge pine tree outside my apartment which fills my place with fine green dust. In the last couple of weeks, I have taken whatever I could take down from every wall in my place, shook it, vacuumed, Swiffered it and wiped it down with a damp cloth. Wiped walls, vacuumed and wiped my hundreds of books and their cases. I run two air purifiers. The obvious signs that it is hard for her to breathe have gone. She is an indoor cat, other that the few times that I have been able to take her walking at the local park, so she is a constant cleaner and biter. I am trying to make her some kind of contraption out of cardboard boxes that she can climb on to be able to look out the window, as she does like to watch people. I am allergic to her. Usually it is to long hair cats just in the spring, but this cat is different. Luckily I am older and came be with her other than to take the occasional visit to the doctor, grocery store or the local Petsmart to buy her, oh, the more expensive cat food because her stomach is so delicate being Siamese. Yes, I will keep her though she is not the kind of cat that I wanted, and knew nothing of Siamese, and had I known I would not have taken her. If I were to not keep her, I would NOT return her to the shelter where I found her. She has had enough trauma in her life. I wish that she was a kitten when I chose her as she would be more open to learning to play and be close to me.
Rescues can be tricky to integrate into a household but they often make the best pets once they've had time to adjust. It may take a few years but don't give up! This could be a really meaningful relationship for both you and kitty at the end of the day!
More love I can’t imagine.
i had a chocolate point siamese and she was the most adorable, friendly, smart and funny cat i‘ve ever had. cross eyed, spots on her nose, a broken tip tail and with a beautiful white stripe going down the middle of her belly. the cutest thing ever ✨
While Growing Up, We had a Siamese Cat... His Name Was "CAT" Where to start? He Was WONDERFUL He did EVERYTHING with us. Trips to the Grocery Store, He had different types of Meows to call us. We would play Hide & Seek with us, He would go hide and then Call You when he was ready for you to go look for him, then when you were close, he would jump out at you to scare you then run away. In the summer we would go check under rocks for crickets he wanted to eat. Cat would follow me down the street till I would have to tell him to go home much like a dog. There is just so much more, We Loved Each Other... I Miss That Cat, even 35 years later. Cat was such an incredible Part of my Life Growing Up 😊 🐱 👕❣👕 👖 👖
Mine did the same thing too. Followed my when I walked to church or the store and would go back home when I got there. He liked to hunt bats from the roof of the porch and taught himself how to "open" the screens on the windows to get outside on the roof to hunt in the evenings. My cat played hide and seek with me too. I feel your love for that cat I miss mine too and it has been about 35 years also.
My daughter brought home a white Siamese cat, then she left for school, so the cat became, for better or worse, became my responsibility. I like cats alright, but didn’t want one. However, Chester quickly became one I could tolerate - and enjoy! I taught the cat to fetch as well as most dogs (actually Chester showed me his ability) I taught it to sit, lay, stay and roll over; the last two were a work in progress, but still quite quick to learn and remember. I’d swear that cat understood much of what I told it by the way it responded to numerous things I would say during our conversations - yeah, I said it, because it would be hard to not think it so. This white Siamese was also rather quiet.
You guys are totally spot on Siamese cats being social, That's where my kitty Maxie shines! Always by my side, oh... including bathroom, I just can't escape from her! lol Momo is such a gorgeous cat, plus the rest of your furry children. 👍💗😀💗
We found our little guy in the park across from Niagara Falls, a year ago - across from the actual Falls. He is a lynx point Siamese. He is very adorable. Pretty much to a point described him. Love him, named him Metta. It means loving-kindness.
it’s kind of like my family’s tradition to have siamese, my great great grandma and so on all had one. my great grandma still loves showing off pictures of her old siamese. she lived to be 17! my mom also grew up with them as well, so when we decided to get a cat- we had to go and adopt one! right now, i have a seal point siamese and a siamese/calico mix. they are great cats and great companions. they always have a lot to say and make sure we pay attention. they have really helped me a lot through hard times
My Siamese girl and I would have talking matches. She would meow in a demanding tone, then I'd say something a little louder, then she'd meow back louder and so forth. I think she won most of the time. I had to say goodbye 3 months ago. It still breaks my heart her not being here. She was something else.
Great video! All you say is absolutely true,in my experience with my eight years old siamese Alegría 😍 she's wonderful,so lovely. I prefer the old bred like Momo and Alegría are. Thank You so much, Regards from Buenos Aires Argentina 😻
Siamese are extremely OCD about routines. Mine is a female and she is OCD about grooming. When she got a couple flea bites even though she is an indoor cat, she licked herself bald in spots. Mine is cross eyed and her depth perception is off. She can jump up with no issue, she has a hard tim3 getting down from high places so I have gradual steps for her to get up and down from her fav places. I can’t keep her out of my closet shelves so I set up a cat tree next to the closet so she doesn’t destroy my closet. She is super smart so I have cat puzzles. She loves them. Keeps her mentally stimulated. My baby is a lynxpoint. I love her personality and her beautiful markings
Thank you for sharing! I personally adore lynx points and hope to maybe have one one day. Momo is also super routine driven and can be a bit of a nightmare if we change something... Like stay out late or something.
Hi friends, there was this siamese cat in our appartment complex, and the day I saw it, I fell in love with it. My neighbor posted the other day that she was feeding him, so I offered to help, and possibly to adopt. Yesterday, she and her husband were able to catch it, and contacted me, so I HAVE IT since yesterday night. I adore her/him already!! We are going to take it to the vet on Monday (today is Friday) and hopefully I will be adopting her/him. They called it S'more, I am not sure I love the name, so if I end being his family, I would think of a greek goddess name or a literary character name, bc I'm a writer and I love nerdy stuff like that. I live by myself in this little town that seems to be very VERY conservative and a little bit racist, so finding S'more is making me so happy so far. She (my neighbor thinks it's a she) has been very VERY shy, just in the corner of my living room, or underneath the bed. She just went behind my bookshelf, but I think she will start feeling more and more comfortable with time. I already saw a couple of videos on your channel about Siamese cats, and I feel this is actually a great fit. So, cross your fingers, dear Internet community, so I can keep her, to give each other company. Peace, friends!! (PS, I'll keep you posted. LOL, or you can follow me on IG, I have been sharing in my stories some videos of her. Byeeeee.
Always great when kind people save kitties. I hope she/he is adapting well and getting to know you. I kind of like the name 😅 we sometimes refer to Momo as our cappuccino baby because of his coloring.
oh man my Max (Male chocolate point) is going to be 2 years old next week. I got him at 8 weeks old from a breader in the middle of covid after trying for 2 years to adopt. He is mega OCD. He always has toys in his dry food bowl, if you move something to the otherside of the room it drives him nuts. Last month Max adopted a stray cat that now comes to my door, another boy cat. he takes him toys to the door, food, and they play and talk for hours. Trying to get the stray to trust me still, he runs when I get near him. I was able to teach Max to shake for a treat in 2 days. Now he does it all the time now! He talks. talks all the time. talks morning and night. Lucky for me his voice is not very raspy as my last siamese. Max is my second siamese. My first siamese Jasmine was a seal point, She lived until she was 20 years old. I got Jasmine at 8 weeks old. Max does everything Jasmine did. almost like Jasmine was reborn as Max, it is scary sometime. Max and Jasmine were both trained to leash walk. A couple days after Max came home, we put a ferret harness and leash on him and he walked outside like he had done it before! He also went right to the grave site of my Jasmine and sat down right up front of it. I loss it for a second. it was like he went to their out of respect. Love MoMo. enjoy the years he will give you. they will always do something new and keep you shaking your head :)
My seal point used to chase dogs in the neighborhood when I was a kid. Hilarious to watch a black lab running with its tail between its legs from a tiny cat.
That's pretty much our situation too with our Pittie. She has no chance in this household. Alice is the only one that tolerates her and is nice to her. All the others will hiss/growl and Kebi and Momo will actively chase her!
My parents had a Siamese kitty for a long time…. I am guessing she was 18 when she passed and dive until the end. She was not vocal and super sweet from what I remember. We have a Siamese ragdoll mix and she must be more ragdoll since she is pretty quiet unless she wants dinner. She hates being held or touched unless she comes to you. We have a new Torti kitten and she is making my digger kitty crazy. Siamese are beautiful and amazing kittys. I will always have a place in my heart 💜 for Siamese kittys.
I was adopted by two Siamese mix kittens this summer! I call them my kitchen sink cats because they have so many patterns and colors (everything but the kitchen sink). One is a silver patched/tortie lynx point with white spotting and the other is a patched/tortie point with white spotting! They are wonderfully strange looking kittens!
we love Siamese cats!❤ Momo is so handsome.!! In The USA we call traditional = " appleheads" we have two- - Poppy our sealpoint rescue 😻 and Louie our lilac point male 😻thank you for your video - love Momo😍 Happy, Healthy New year to all❤
I love the Siamese breed. My first cat was Siamese and they are so loving cats. He slept every night in my arms and I loved him so much. Momo is so beautiful😻I love only the traditional type.
You totally nailed it! My Siamese "George" is incredibly smart and easy to train. He does all the dog tricks - sit, shake, rollover, stay, come, and also jumps through a hoop. He walks on a leash twice a day (we have too many predators for him to be out alone). Also, he is very attached to me, and he will carry his bundle of feathers around the house and scream like a tiny man when I leave.
They are actually called Thai cats, which is a recognized breed in the World Cat Federation. The modern Siamese breed standards call for a more severe look...bigger low set ears, sharp pointed face with a straight profile. 🐈
Thank you for the info. I work at a vet clinic and had an abandoned kitten brought in. I brought her home and looked up her color patterns…turns out I have a Flame Point Siamese now. She’s definitely very vocal. Now that I’ve learned more about her I’ll be harness training her after she’s old enough for her last vaccines and will get her some puzzles feeders. They sound wonderful. I love affectionate and vocal cats. I’m so excited to have her.
Thank you! My Siamese -Orion - is 5 months now, after watching the videos he now listens to and follows commands. He sits when I click my fingers, gives me his paw and jumps up when I wiggle my fingers. I cannot believe how clever he is, it's extraordinary! Never before have I had a cat and it just seems to come naturally with him! 🥰
My siamese doesn't like to be held. He wants to be left alone til he's ready to be petted but still doesn't like being held and never sits in our laps 🤷♀️
My boy is 6 months and he is the BIGGEST baby. Him and my dog Lulu cannot be separated and he screams at the door when I take the dog out to potty until we come back inside🤣 but we did get him very young I think the older they are when you get them the more independent they can be but that’s just my experience.
I found a 4 week old blue point Siamese and have raised him. He is everything Siamese except not as vocal as I expected and still sounds like a kitten even though he is now 10 months old. He definitely is high energy and needs lots of interaction with me. I buy him lots of toys and even bought him a kitty treadmill that he enjoys. Thanks for the great video.
My cat only drinks from puddles or his water bowl after its left outside for the night lol
She has me totally trained already to be her entertainment, her food provider and, only at her
discretion, her cuddler.
You got so lucky. They are an amazing cat. I paid £400 for my girl. Well spent tho.

Besides being smart, if you haven't already discovered, they are VERY photogenic. My Mookie actually poses for me.
When using my phone camera she SEEMS to know what is happening and gets extra cute.
@BowHead Sully
Thank you for your response.
This made me so happy! Thank you for sharing granny! I hope you can get to spend time with many cats again soon! ❤️❤️❤️
So vocal, emotionally intelligent and the best thing in my life.
my Siamese is the smartest cat I’ve ever had,, 😻
My little girl is my world. She is perfect, funny, intelligent and never stops talking.
EVER!

meow meow I have a siamese mix.
This breed They will choose their owner only one person to spend their life to
my girl also does the same, follows me everywhere 😁
I think I've been chosen by a boy Siamese cat
Adopted my Siamese cat after he got hit by a car and his owners didn’t want him anymore. The workers at the rescue said they reported him being destructive and a “bad cat”. I’ve never had this problem though! I think he just didn’t get enough attention, as Siamese really are co-dependent on human interaction and affection. As long as he gets his daily morning cuddles and gets to tell me about his day, he’s a happy boy. Adopting him was the best decision I ever made, I couldn’t imagine life without him now!
What a wonderful story! Thank you so much for sharing!
@@MomoSiamese These cats want and deserve attention. Basically if you can't handle a small dog, you cannot handle one of these cats. They demand as much attention. This is not a cat to assume will simply sleep all the time.
bless you
I was owned by a Siamese
for twenty years. Suki was
literally my best friend. A
truly wonderful and aware
little being. I can't say enough
good things about Siamese.
Ski was a
Seal Point as well. Wonderful

that they are here to help us
with our emotional stability.
There are many people who
would be in far better shape
if they were simply issued a
Siamese Cat.
My Siamese chocolate point is called Suki, too😍 We got her in May along with her gray point sister who we called Akira😊
True little magic unicorns 😉
This just happened to me 😂 I’m a dog person or so I thought. This old lady is moving and asked if I was interested in her Siamese cat I went to visit the cat and get to know him and now I’m in my bed crying because I feel like I have a emotional connection to this cat that I don’t even know 😭 so I’m up doing research and putting things in my Amazon cart because I’m HIGHLY considering getting this cat ❤️
@@Zodiac1350 well be sure to update us either way! 🙏🌈💕
If you love dogs this is like a dog. Always wants cuddles and to be near you.
Yessss!! Very accurate!
FYI: Orange Tabbies are big cuddle monsters too, Black cats and Tuxedos are like dogs - they are super active like puppies and love to play
@@pcarebear1 the most talkative cat I met was a tuxedo. Followed by a calico.

I believe I just did.
My little girl came home to me 21 years ago and I love every meow she yells at us.

As a Siamese cat mama, I can honestly say they have been our family’s favorites since I was 10 years old. I cannot live without a Siamese cat. They are chatty, bratty, and OH SO LOVABLE!
My Alphonse is the light of my life. I love him so. ♥️ He understands me.
They are highly intelligent and need your love. They're beautiful Cats.....😊❤
I've had 2 Siamese males, best cats ever! Very friendly and loved to interact with humans
My Siamese mix is named Suki too. It means beloved in Japanese.
Cats meowing is like music to my ears😌
It's so tender, unlike those little birds, which to me sound like they come from hell. I don't know it just sounds like a glass shard scraping against a blackboard and they do it at 5-7 in the morning-the most ungodly hour I hope he eliminates them from my life
Just lost my Siamese who was around 19 years old. He looked like Momo! I miss him so much. :(
We're so sorry for your loss 😔
Obviously on her own terms.
who trains who now haha
My sister had a pair of Siamese kitties and there is no other cat like a Siamese. I loved them so much. They were more like little people and VERY affectionate. And the conversations you have with them! 😂 One if my sister’s cat was very cross eyed, but that did not seem to stop him. I saw him jump and catch a fly in his paw!
"....need to be entertained...!" - Totally ignores exciting moving toy. A great example of the contrariness of the Siamese! ❤❤❤🐈🐈🐈❤❤❤
Great advice for anyone thinking about getting a Siamese! I've been 'owned' by Siamese and Siamese-cross my whole life. They are adorable, but you have to keep them occupied. 'the devil makes work for idle paws' ;)
I love that you also acknowledge that they are the owners and not you 😂
We currently have a 14 year-old Maine Coon (male, 11 pounds), 13 year-old American Shorthair (female, 8 pounds), 5 year-old American Shorthair (male, 15 pounds), and a 3-year old Siamese (Male, 17 pounds).
Miss him xx
Sounds like an amazing cat! Siamese are so special...
My 18 year old Siamese past away in November and my house isn’t the same, I miss the noise she made and how attached she was to me 😞
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss...

Really great cats’ they are………
Was given a 🐈 rescue now, as I couldn’t refuse her.
One was a Seal point Siamese reject that found her
way into my life. Very sick and with dermatitis, I nurtured her back to health. Wonderful and vocal, we
talked to each other through the years.
Thank you so much for sharing your story 🙂
I rescued a Siamese cat also named MOMO....he is nearly 12....not as vocal and playful but wonderful!....
My Siamese bonded with my rabbit…. And they were the best of friends. When my bun passed suddenly, she was lost. She is very bonded to me… always has to be close to me when sleeping… which is not always comfortable.
Best breed I’ve ever had. My Dusty could fetch and was more like a dog really. I miss you every day boy. 😻
same with my boy miko. he can fetch too ❤️
I was chosen by my Siamese Lewis.
So glad you could give them a good home! You won't regret it.
Siamese are hard to rescue. I've been searching in shelters for over a year and they are snatched up so fast! I found a rescue that specializes in Siamese but you have to adopt with another non Siamese with them.
I have 2 Siameses I love them I can’t think of not having him them I love them 😍 thank you for the information!
Glad we could be of assistance 😊
Where are you located.
We are in Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK
Siamese cats are very hard to find in shelters as well. I've came across one shelter that rescues Siamese but you have to adopt with another non Siamese. They are a high demand breed I've been searching for over a year!!!!

.icant said you nothig because idont now english. But the siames is the best cat that i had in my live
@@gracielasanjines6468 ❤❤❤❤ I totally understand what your saying 100%
My siamese had a meow like a miniature lion he really dragged it out and had such a big noise come from his small body. I tell people he was the boss
We had 2 snowshoe, a seal point and his sister, a lynx point, rescue from SPCA . They have great personalities and love those blue eyes. They are people-oriented more than the regular rescue cats I grew up with. Less vocal than pure bred Siamese but still ‘talks’.
Same with our boy. He's definitely not as talkative as a full breed but definitely more so than any of our other rescues.
Love my Leonardo! Purple point, I believe.Recognized a lot of traits in your video.
A Siamese cat seeking refuge knocked on my door yesterday, I thought it was Amazon putting a package by my door but I looked through the peep hole and all I saw was a bushy brown tail 😹 she's very vocal, when I went to bed she tried to keep me up talking all night long 😹😹😹 if I can't find her owner I will end up adopting her ❤
While I do hope that this baby has an owner, I'm also so glad you would be willing to open your house to her!
Lucky!!! I have been searching for a siamese in shelters for over a year. They get snatched up sooo fast. I found a rescue that specializes in siamese but you have to adopt them with a non Siamese cat.
@@prittyugly86 I just took her to the vet the other day and the staff members said it's very rare to find a stray Siamese cat.
@@NubiaBlake if the previous owner didn't spay and micro chip her you should! Extremely irresponsible of them if they didn't.
My Siamese is adorable, active she loves to play sometimes she gets a little bitey but that’s just what they do, sleeps all night under the covers.
Tabby cats are like this too. Very receptive to training!

So sorry to hear that.
My siamese is maybe 11 this year. What you're going through is my biggest fear and I think about it every day. I can only offer my condolences and the knowledge that you're not alone.
@@cindervile Thank you.
So glad you liked it! Momo is our first siamese but probably won't be our last ❤️ We're very smitten with the breed now.
We have a modern siamese, a seal point as well and I confirm he is very intense!
I have a modern seal point also. She is also very intense and loves to snuggle!
Siamese are my favorite breed. I have had many over the years and all were grrrrrrreat!
Wow! Every now and then we think of leaving SA and we are always terrified at how Momo would handle the flight. He is such a nervous boy as it is.
Extremely vocal almost seems like an understatement. We have a snowshoe named Bumpy. Love em!
We have a Tortie as well.
The first one is so true, everyday at around 4:30 am my cat comes to my room and meows untill I get up to feed her
I don't have color preference but I do prefer traditional.
That is awesome! I'm so glad they can help you with your health!
I adopted my all black Siamese ... he is an absolute lover... always sleeping on top of me, he loves to socialize with my friends when they visit..
I can't believe people dump cats... It makes me so angry. I'm glad those two found you and had a wonderful life with you 😍
We started with one Sienese male cat which we got from Thailand and the First day I met him he cames to me and kissed me immediately on my nose and he never stop to do that since that day.
He is so closed to me that sometime I think there is a human being inside…
After we adopt one Siamese female from Hanoi in Vietnam and they immediately loved each other and gave us 9 babes Siamese cats. Then, we gave 6 and we kept three. So, now we have 5 Siamese cats and they play together like creasy. They are so energetic. I teach one how to open a door and they often visit us at night in our bedroom
Now. This cat decide for only one master. They give us a lot of happiness and pleasure.
The slightly crossed eyes in our Siamese is extremely endearing.
Thank you so much for watching and I'm so glad to hear that you have such a special relationship with your Bella.
❤❤❤
Perfectly lovely. Mia (the cat who can say her own name ten times in a row) who enjoys watching other cats on RUclips approved.

While Growing Up, We had a Siamese Cat... His Name Was "CAT"
Where to start? He Was WONDERFUL He did EVERYTHING with us. Trips to the Grocery Store, He had different types of Meows to call us. We would play Hide & Seek with us,
He would go hide and then Call You when he was ready for you to go look for him, then when you were close, he would jump out at you to scare you then run away.
In the summer we would go check under rocks for crickets he wanted to eat. Cat would follow me down the street till I would have to tell him to go home much like a dog.
There is just so much more, We Loved Each Other... I Miss That Cat, even 35 years later. Cat was such an incredible Part of my Life Growing Up

MINE IS SEAL POINT, TRADITIONAL. I LOVE HIM!!!!
Have 2 Siamese siblings. The female is very vocal, her brother doesn't utter a peep. Both love wrecking havoc.
Thank you for sharing your siamese story with us 😊 We love hearing about our community's pets.
I adopted a 1/2 Siamese lilac point kitten. She has all of these traits!
Looks like we have some catching up to do with our training! Your George is a real champion!

Traditional in USA are called "Apple head"
Lucky you! I would love a flame point...who are we kidding I would love one of each!
MOMO is BEAUTIFUL and SMART, I WISH SHE WAS MINE.
Aww we love him let’s all share him
That is wonderful to hear! Keep working with him!
My siamese doesn't like to be held. He wants to be left alone til he's ready to be petted but still doesn't like being held and never sits in our laps 🤷♀️
Your cat refuses because i told your cat to refuse
Our Momo is also not a big cuddler. He decides when he wants love. Cats will be cats!
They are the best ❤️
Ciao a tutti. Il mio siamese è tenero intelligente chiacchierone bellissimo suscettibile ... È il mio amore.
