In 2020 i had a radical hysterectomy for cancer. Even though it didn't change the outer appearance, it still screws up your mental condition. I can't even imagine how hard this is for this man.
I had to have a hysterectomy at 29 due to some serious issues and I can relate to your pain my sister, it does something to you for sure. I've had a lot of mental health problems since and I also started menopause before I was 40. I'm 44 now and it's been 15 years since my surgery but I still suffer from hormonal issues and have many mental diagnosis. I wish nothing but the best for you and this wonderful man, don't ever let this define who you really are ❤🙏🏼💪🏼
I was 38 and hadn’t been married quite a year when I went thru uterine cancer. COMPLETE hysterectomy, I was so afraid my new husband wouldn’t want me. We’ve been married nearly 25 years and I love him even more after he helped me heal. BEST man I’ve ever known. This man’s wife loves him, too, I’m SURE of it!
As a woman I wish there was a lot more education/discussion about hysterectomies and what all the procedure and aftermath entails. I feel very much in the dark still about this subject. It seems this medical intervention is a lot more common than people are aware of, there have to be countless women who had never heard of one until they themselves had to get one.
You are a brave man. All men need to see this. No need to be ashamed of embarrassed. Takes a real man to tell his story. If this happened to my husband I am 1000%positive I would stay. I love him so much. I could not live without him. You are here and alive and that is the most important thing!!❤️🙏
No one should have to go through something like this alone, much less anything else it's sad what people's beliefs, behavior, morals and values have become, but there are still some good ones too, choose wisely we all get to an age of accountability and it's about time for accountability, just my opinion ..... God bless all !!!! ❤️✌️
I cannot tell this man how to feel, but I must say that I think he is one of the most brave individuals out there to speak on this subject. He shouldn't feel disgusted with himself. He's amazing.
A friend had prostrate cancer . His penis cannot have an erection. However he explained to people that he can still have an internal orgasm . Achievable through massaging and caressing his groin.
You are 100% a full man. Life and love isn't about our body parts. Its about who we are on the inside and how we show that love from our hearts. God bless this lovely couple. You are beautiful in all ways. ❤
I am sooo sorry that he ever had to suffer a day. Soo much love and support, what a honest, good ,humble real man , with a precious beautiful wife. Much respect sir.. ❤
It takes a true man to do this. I wish him and his wife the very best and I hope he gets all of the support and care that he so very much deserves. 🙏🏻💫❤️
It sounds like you meant this in a supportive way so I'm not trying to argue but I just would hate for him to see these and read "the fact his wife stayed with him" it struck me as odd... because the cancer was in his penis you took note of it. It sounds like you're implying that his worth as a partner was diminished. Imagine reading It spoke volumes for a man to stay with his wife after she got a double mastectomy... She's not doing him a favor she is in a lifelong committed partnership with him regardless of his appendages. I HOPE she would stay with him just like I hope anyone would stay with a spouse who had cancer Obviously some don't of course but I really hope that where the cancer is does not determine that.
Yeah, I totally understand him not going back to the doctors for a reconstruction because he's scared of the doctors now! Great couple ❤ It's great they're speaking out.
For real though. I avoid past ddoctors myself and refuse to speak with them and instead have to deal with the nurses because my insurance doesn't have another specialist who's accepting patients. So I said, nurse so and so, or I don't see anyone due to medical trauma. So yea. I get that fully. Poor dude wouldn't even go back if he had an option in the UK. But I really hope some doctor in the world sees this and reaches out.
They said in the video that he can’t get a reconstruction, he had to have too much removed due to the extent/aggressiveness of his cancer. It sounds like what he needs is psychological help to accept the current state of his body. Also, a tube that is skin coloured instead of bright purple could help him to function in public bathrooms better.
I felt deeply moved watching this. I admire this man for relaying his experience so that others may benefit. Such a lovely couple. I rarely comment but wanted to relay my sincere wishes to them both for the future.
@@Neontrifleif the cancer had only been the balls and not the penis there is high probability he would have had function after an orchiectomy and hormone therapy despite having cancer.
Only a very brave MAN, can be vulnerable enough to share such a difficult story. I hope this video will help men out there who suffering from this, to know they are not a lone.
In the march of this year I also had cancer of the penis and it was amputated. The most frustrating thing is to have to keep a bottle to urinate into. Very difficult to be in men's company. I am single and will stay stay this way. At 61
I hope he gets a chance to read all of these comments and I hope it makes a positive impact to know that everyone that hears his story considers him MORE of a man for his bravery in speaking up about not only the operation but also the mental health struggles it caused him. I think I can speak for most if not all when I say I/we're really glad you're still here with us and speaking out ❤
Well done for having the courage to speak about such personal information 👏 as a breast cancer survivor that wasn't able to get reconstruction surgery. I can understand first hand how it impacts your mental health. It makes it easier having a rock like your wife by your side, good luck for the future.
I’ve been married for 22 years and can honestly say I wouldn’t be bothered if this were our situation whatsoever. Absolutely never let a doctor rush your mental health recovery - especially with a supportive partner by your side. You’re a wonderful couple and I wish the best for your future together. 🖤
He is so brave to come on camera and tell his story. There is so little awareness of this awful cancer. ❤ what a lovely couple - I wish them all the best . Can’t help but think that some reconstruction should be possible - after all they can do this for trans people.
There most certainly is, but he doesn't even want to ask because of all the trauma he's been through, and it's still painful down there, right now, he's afraid to go back under the knife.
My thoughts exactly. They both should be having counselling both on their own and together. I really hope he can to a point where he can get a reconstruction as it's something trans people can have. He is such an amazing brave man. He's not at fault for not wanting to have an op but fingers crossed one day things change for them xx
What an incredibly brave man who spoke so clearly and with incredible dignity about the operation he has been through. His wife is amazing and it is wonderful to witness their love and caring of each other. I hope other men who might have to go through a similar operation are shown this video.
Apparently it's not hard at all.
@@LegendofLaw. Truly an idiotic comment.
The problem is that you're in the minority. The one percentile of women. God bless you for even thinking that. We need more females like you on Earth.
The total lack of support is appalling. Devastating.
Your family and friends are support systems.
@@Dragonologist Some people don't have family or close friends.
@thomson872 Then they haven't built themselves a support system.
No one should have to go through something like this alone, much less anything else it's sad what people's beliefs, behavior, morals and values have become, but there are still some good ones too, choose wisely we all get to an age of accountability and it's about time for accountability, just my opinion ..... God bless all !!!! ❤️✌️
@@Dragonologist He needed mental health support which friends and family, no matter how caring, are not equipped to give.
I cannot tell this man how to feel, but I must say that I think he is one of the most brave individuals out there to speak on this subject. He shouldn't feel disgusted with himself. He's amazing.
Women despise men with small manhood, I can’t imagine what a woman will think of a man without one. Let’s be honest.
Sir it's not DISGUISTING. Your a real honest man and a lovely couple. God blessed you to have each other and you are together.
A friend had prostrate cancer . His penis cannot have an erection. However he explained to people that he can still have an internal orgasm . Achievable through massaging and caressing his groin.
Very brave man for sharing his story. His story could save someone's life someday.
How so?
@@CowboyPants-h5p Raising awareness for those who don't know about it.

I don’t understand your logic. If he didn’t get it done he would have died. It’s a pretty no brainer as far as I see it.
@@Sportfury4400 He was referring to the interview, not the operation.
@
Ok. To me that isn’t brave either. For an old guy he’s very emotional about the situation. Sure it would be devastating if he were 25 or something.
Bless this precious couple for speaking out, and for the love and support for one another
The truth indeed problem I learned that cancer can pop up anywhere
The fact that she is still married to him speaks volumes. There's a lot of love and respect ❤❤. Life does go on, they have each other
It sounds like you meant this in a supportive way so I'm not trying to argue but I just would hate for him to see these and read "the fact his wife stayed with him" it struck me as odd... because the cancer was in his penis you took note of it. It sounds like you're implying that his worth as a partner was diminished. Imagine reading It spoke volumes for a man to stay with his wife after she got a double mastectomy...
She's not doing him a favor she is in a lifelong committed partnership with him regardless of his appendages. I HOPE she would stay with him just like I hope anyone would stay with a spouse who had cancer
Obviously some don't of course but I really hope that where the cancer is does not determine that.
Yeah, I totally understand him not going back to the doctors for a reconstruction because he's scared of the doctors now! Great couple ❤ It's great they're speaking out.
That’s if he’s even able to get a recronstruction
For real though. I avoid past ddoctors myself and refuse to speak with them and instead have to deal with the nurses because my insurance doesn't have another specialist who's accepting patients. So I said, nurse so and so, or I don't see anyone due to medical trauma. So yea. I get that fully. Poor dude wouldn't even go back if he had an option in the UK. But I really hope some doctor in the world sees this and reaches out.
After COV I lost total trust and respect for the doctors. They are not doctors anymore, they became butchers, sold out their soul.
Nothing to lose though
They said in the video that he can’t get a reconstruction, he had to have too much removed due to the extent/aggressiveness of his cancer. It sounds like what he needs is psychological help to accept the current state of his body. Also, a tube that is skin coloured instead of bright purple could help him to function in public bathrooms better.
The love is so strong between these two. It’s a real benchmark of a solid relationship. I wish you all the best in your continued recovery xx
I felt deeply moved watching this. I admire this man for relaying his experience so that others may benefit. Such a lovely couple. I rarely comment but wanted to relay my sincere wishes to them both for the future.
He's certainly got some balls!
@@Neontrifleif the cancer had only been the balls and not the penis there is high probability he would have had function after an orchiectomy and hormone therapy despite having cancer.
Why was mohs surgery not an option?
Only a very brave MAN, can be vulnerable enough to share such a difficult story. I hope this video will help men out there who suffering from this, to know they are not a lone.
I admire him, never knew there was such a thing as penile cancer. I’ve learnt so much, bless them both xx
Wow cancer can be EVERYWHERE
It's rarer than male breast cancer.
i have a friend that had it. but he didnt had to lose his member because he got it early. Unfortunetly this man waited too much to go to the doctor.
Cancer can affect any and all parts of the body
In the march of this year I also had cancer of the penis and it was amputated. The most frustrating thing is to have to keep a bottle to urinate into. Very difficult to be in men's company. I am single and will stay stay this way. At 61
I hope he gets a chance to read all of these comments and I hope it makes a positive impact to know that everyone that hears his story considers him MORE of a man for his bravery in speaking up about not only the operation but also the mental health struggles it caused him. I think I can speak for most if not all when I say I/we're really glad you're still here with us and speaking out ❤
Brave man. Sharing such stories can help other men (and their wives).
Or husbands
Brave? He had two choices and only a crazy man would choose death.
What a very brave man. I find it impossible that he had no proper counselling. What a wonderful couple.
Well done for having the courage to speak about such personal information 👏 as a breast cancer survivor that wasn't able to get reconstruction surgery. I can understand first hand how it impacts your mental health. It makes it easier having a rock like your wife by your side, good luck for the future.
It's not the same,at all.An equivalent thing would be having your vulva and vagina removed.
@@bernadettedevereux4489 Maybe physically, but not emotionally
I’ve been married for 22 years and can honestly say I wouldn’t be bothered if this were our situation whatsoever. How would you not be bothered? It is pretty damn life altering

He is so brave to come on camera and tell his story. There is so little awareness of this awful cancer. ❤ what a lovely couple - I wish them all the best .
Can’t help but think that some reconstruction should be possible - after all they can do this for trans people.
Exactly and those people don't need surgery
There most certainly is, but he doesn't even want to ask because of all the trauma he's been through, and it's still painful down there, right now, he's afraid to go back under the knife.
