2 things: 1. I'm surprised that the product that sells $60 for 2 tsp still has a person on the other side that is doing to "feed his family", to get by. The seller probably gets most of the money. It could be also that the quantity is small so it doesn't translate to a lot of money. 2. I know it is hard to digest for people from western countries that he is doing it unprotected. It is shocking truly. But their life is a very simple life. It is not a big corporation. He probably doesn't have the resources to understand what he needs to safely climb. Imagine an example, where in your life you don't have Internet or books, and you need to complete a school project. You don't know what you don't know. You just do things rudimentarily to complete your project. This is something similar. People have become so accustomed to their google search lives, big box stores life & easily buyable resources, that they don't try to comprehend "simple" village lives. And no, simple doesn't mean poor.
This is in Paddar valley also known as the sapphire valley. I have encountered many mysteries around this place and believe me it's holding many more stories like this in these parts of the Pir Panjal region.
Whole J&K is filled with mystery. There's a place called Kalroos in Kupwara district of J&K, a local tale is that the cave gets it name for having a tunnel directly connected to Russia/Russian Kingdom and in the past, people used to use this tunnel. Later, Indian govt banned anyone from entering the cave and sometime in past 30 years, army carried out various blasts and that destroyed the tunnel to a great extent. Another goes for Boodha Amarnath, where a tunnel is sealed off for general public and is believed to go to Kashi Vishwanath.

It's like saying that research on aliens is limited so we asked crazy guys from Ancient Aliens from History channel to only show their point of view as the implicitly true one. This way you're basically shilling shilajit as panaceum, while right now it looks more like placebo/snake oil. I'm not an expert but I really wonder how much can you attribute to shilajit rather than all of the other stuff that gets mixed into it like shown on this film. If it really was a miracle drug, it would already be analyzed, patented and sold by the biggest players because that's what they do in every other case without a sign of remorse. If you believe in the sale's pitch for shilajit, then it's your life and your choice to rely on a mixture of shilajit, cow urine, clarified butter, sacred water(?) and honey for your fertility treatment. Good job Insider News. You're participating in misrepresenting the efficacy of another fertility miracle drug after having elephant's tusks, rhino's horns taken from their dead bodies or seahorses as a whole being ground into powder so that some sleazy dude can spend money to believe that he got his hands on a new pixie powder that will still NOT make them a baby machine.

So it gives you physical energy, lots of mental drive, etc. But I dont need to sell anyone on it....More for the rest of us. I'm 35 and have been using it on/off over the past 10 years. For me it's TOO strong to take daily. It's best to dose once per day for 4 days in a row, then break for a week or more. I just take it every once in awhile when I want an energy boost. It's hard to sit still when you take this because you have so much energy. So I tend to take it when i'm doing outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, etc. It stacks well with DGL licorice to increase the effects. And it will indeed increase labido but I have other stuff that works better (pine pollen) so I dont generally use shilajit very often for labido. The best part about shilajit is that you arent overstimulating your body, you're simply providing it with good nutrition (cofactors, minerals, fulvic acids) and your body is manufacturing what it needs.

I tried some REALLY potent Shilajit in Nepal (that's where you get the best quality, in the eastern Himalayas). Don't know about it being an Aphrodisiac but it definitely tasted like absolute horsecart wheel grease or something similar. Apparently if you use it long enough, it can offer long term benefits for your libido but it's just a kerogen so I have my doubts about that. That being said, Ayurveda is a wonderful world of possibilities and should definitely not be looked down upon because of snake oil like this.
@@honor9lite1337 You know where petroleum comes from? Kerogen is a substance like petroleum. ''Young'' petroleum to be precise, a bunch of long dead organisms like algae, plants and animals that decomposed, something that if left long enough, will turn into pure petroleum and oil. It's a bunch of carbon and hydrogen and some other nasty stuff that is inedible. Basically, they think eating petroleum boosts their libido. Risking their lives for a complete bullshit and pseudo''science''.
if you heat anything over an open flame it'll eventually look like this. Most of the compounds in this are likely being reduced to carbon/tar. In chemistry when a product starts to turn into a goopy mess like this it isn't a good thing.
In my part of the world, they make a similar looking substance from baboon urine. A community of baboons in the wild tend to all pee in the same place and forms a substance that look like that and is used a natural aphrodisiac
"The most potent kind of Shilajit is said to contain traces of Gold". In other words even regular Shilajit has no proven health benefits. Thanks I'll be adding this one to that ever growing list of products to avoid untill I get some proper information.

I bought a few grams of Shilajit about 8 years ago for my Shaman Kit and tasted it. The recommended dosage is a piece about the size of a .177 caliber BB. I remember going with my grandpa across the mountain, hiking high up until we reached the base of cliff. He had team from village too. I saw 5 to 6 uncle climbing up and up without any safety gear. I had no idea why they were struggling. At the end of the day they sat and divided the little amount. We called it shilajet too. We took it home and gave it to mom for her fractured leg.

Rumor has it that women in those villages are always smiling and happy 😌
That's a charming and heartwarming observation! The happiness and well-being of people in any community are often a reflection of their lifestyle, environment, and cultural practices. In the villages where traditional farming and harvesting are part of daily life, the close-knit community and connection to nature might indeed play a role in their contentment. As always...cameraman is the most skilled person in any documentary
And here cameraman is a drone operated by a human.
„Now Manohar has to go on on his own“
The cameraman: O.o?
2 things:

When you boil it, it reduces the minerals. In Pakistan, Salajeet is not boiled but refined with 12 stages process.

Imagine climbing up 15,000 feet to chisel some rocks.. and you forgot the hammer
just use the one in your pants. you got the mineral next to you... duh
It is 15,000 feet for us, who live in plains just above sea level or sometimes below sea level 😅. People living in Himalayan villages are already residing at a height of 8 to 12 thousand feet or sometimes even more than 12 thousand feet. 😅
Wtf u talking dumbshit only a fool will climb 15k feet to forget an hammer?
While I admire the Manohars work despite the huge risk, I wish this report contested the claims of the "physician & ayurvedic practitioner" more than just one sentence that "research on shilajit is limited".

I am ashamed that Indian government does not regulate such stuffs.
It's a mineral supplement with a bunch of sterols (building blocks of hormones). So it's good for all kinds of stuff besides being an aphrodisiac.
Good for "all kinds of stuff"?!
Yeah, if you can't name even one of all those kinds, I'll tend towards scepticism 😄
Lmao calm down nerd it’s a RUclips video
@@Abrikosmanden - When I say all kinds of stuff I mean stuff that extra hormones helps with.
I can’t imagine the camera crew didn’t introduce this guy to modern climbing techniques and gear which would make this whole endeavor astronomically safer. But obviously the uncertainty is a major player in this video.
Hmmm, my understanding is it's full of essential minerals and fulvic. Had no idea it was used as a natural viagra.
What's kerogen 😮
@@honor9lite1337 You know where petroleum comes from? Kerogen is a substance like petroleum. ''Young'' petroleum to be precise, a bunch of long dead organisms like algae, plants and animals that decomposed, something that if left long enough, will turn into pure petroleum and oil. It's a bunch of carbon and hydrogen and some other nasty stuff that is inedible.
Basically, they think eating petroleum boosts their libido. Risking their lives for a complete bullshit and pseudo''science''.
@@honor9lite1337 In simple terms you can think of it as a precursor to crude oil.

"One misstep and the drop is 15 thousand feet."
Excuse me what?
Not gonna lie, looks kinda like rosin/resin/hash
It's healthy you can take it with warm one glass water or milk
if you heat anything over an open flame it'll eventually look like this. Most of the compounds in this are likely being reduced to carbon/tar. In chemistry when a product starts to turn into a goopy mess like this it isn't a good thing.

These are age old ancient discoveries found by ancient Indian sages who were almost god level intelligent.
