Richard… I don’t miss an episode. Love your show. I would put you up against anybody when it comes to fishin. And I truly appreciate your humor , dignity, and respect for the Lord. God bless you Brother 👍🏻 WOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!! 😄
You are never too old to learn something new. I like this video, you know because of inflation and the way things are going, people are fishing for a meal, not just sport. God Bless you Richard, not only are you a fisherman, but you are also a fisher of men.
Yeah lol people with their boats, trailers, trucks, working outboard engines, and gasoline are "fishing for a meal, not just sport." You don't have a clue what struggling means.
@@nunliski Maybe, but what's wrong with getting your money's worth out of a little hobby and feeding your family while your at it? You just sound spiteful and jealous...
I loved it Richard and Hank...Richard I need to add something after reading these many comments..some of us older guys physically can't go out like we used to..but watching you and at times those who go along.. just blesses my soul...I love how you show us all that you can..thank you for not being selfish..but sharing your knowledge..may the Lord bless you and keep you and grant you His Shalom...sincerely
Amen, Richard!! Would love to meet you sometime and - woooo! - catch a few. I have a fledgling little channel and always present The Gospel in my fishing videos. I pray to one day be able to reach numbers of people on RUclips that you do. May God bless you with continued good health, prosperity and tight lines as you continue to bring HIM glory.
The two of you together was great! By all means, invite Hank back to work with you. Very enjoyable watching y'all together. Whooo! And always, Praise God! Oh, great tips as always.
Richard I am an at home IT worker...and I just LOVE your videos. I don't have many slow days so I can't watch every day ...but when I get a chance, I go to your channel. Gonna make up a some noodle jugs and try them out over the 4th weekend. We love to eat catfish here in Indiana.
Richard you are the Best, I wish I found your channel sooner... Been fishing nearly 40 years and I can't believe how much I have learned watching your videos... You are a BLESSING... THANK YOU MY BROTHER, KEEP FISHING IT'S GOOD FOR YAAA!!!!!
Richard, Thank you for this video! I love the fact that you showed how a lot of us feed the family but also don’t over fish our area. Jug fishing is a blast, especially for kids trying to grab the jugs! God bless and keep the videos coming!
did this on Lake Moultrie with some Brazilian friends of mine they actually showed me how to do this and I'm from the south and they aren't that's insane right but this technique Works amazing the next morning you wake up go out get your noodles out of the water or chase them down because if they got big cats on them they might go under and come up hundreds of yards away but this is very very easy and very fun
Glad to see you all witness you reach a lot of people good video. Thanks we went after church yesterday and got four cats before a storm put us back on the trailer but had a good time
Hey Richard Gene, thank you so much for putting out so much quality content. I really appreciate you and how genuine you are and masterful around the water.
Thank you Richard for your fun video. Cant wait to show it to my grandchildren who enjoy fishing. Thank you for your Christian witness. You are a treasure.
Good reminder Richard! Worry,... it is a Sin, and We can ALL do better! Love it! BTW, just relaxed for an hour at my local creek and caught and released 37 bluegills! It was fantastic.. I used that patience technique, let the lure set and jig it, then it set...!
I caught one of the soft shell turtles. Like to have never found the noodle, but when I did, it was in only 2.5 ft of water near the bank, and was wrapped around limps on a tree. Was able to get the hook out and release him.
Good to see you out there and sharing your knowledge with your subscribers. I've been watching your channel since day one and I've learned so much and now I share the knowledge with my grandchildren. I really enjoyed the message at the end of your video yes the Lord is in control of everything if you let him. Anyways you have a blessed day. Aloha from Kansas
Thanks for your fishing knowledge Richard! I might put my reflective tape on the non weighted end so it wouldn’t be under water when I went to pick it up. I love fishing cause it’s gooood fer me!!!
Cool method . I've seen BlueGabe use a 2 liter bottle of soda with the line tied to it . They punched a small hole in the cap to let the soda leak out to draw catfish . StaleKracker lures them inside old propane tanks with a hole cut out for entry during egg laying season. I've learned a lot from all of you guys and to me anything is better than sitting in the hot sun holding a fishing pole all day . Thanks for the video . I enjoyed it .
Richard you really are a fishing machine. Like to see you do a sit down on all the old lures you use that still great fish catchers eg. rapala floating minnows, spinners etc. Too many pro anglers on youtube pushing the next $20 wonder lure from Japan. Take care and tight lines.
Richard I have been waiting for a video like this and you finally came through many thanks here in southwest Alabama we fish with noodles a lot I do use pvc pipe in mine I would love to see more video like this one keep up the good works
Jug lines are the best! We go set out like 30 of them then go do some bass fishing or crappie fishing and come back later for a good bit of fun. The annoying part of the jugs is when you get a 30 lb striper on and have to chase him around the lake all day.
Did it. Caught some catfish. Caught a giant soft shell turtle. Caught a big red eared snapping turtle. And one knarly gar fish. Those things will catch just about anything!
That dinky gar is not a problem. Down in Lake Corpus Christi there have been two aligator gar taken over three hundred pounds, one by biologists and one by archery. The first one had two catfish inside, one well over ten pounds. I have had #54 trotline cord broken several times back in the sixties. My Dad used to curse them when they would steal most of the bait off his trotline. But some times there would be several on the line at once. Then he would get really angry a get out his channel locks and break off their bills until he got his hook back. That was before Texas Parks and Wildlife was formed and the old Texas Game and Fish commission had a more reasonable solution to the gar problem. The published the story that gar liver was the best catfish bait! That lead to heavy thinning but in the warm waters there, they overpopulate, and Falcon Lake is much the same.
I have always LOVED yove your channel Dick! You should do some videos of ya'll cleaning/cookin up your catch. I know Momma Sue and you are partial to Crappie, most of us are, but I'd like to see how ya'll prep and cook em ..as well as see ya'll eat em too. Any kind of fish. You're always tearin em up.
Love this technique; I do a variation of the same thing. Just a note...Yes, pool noodles do break down quickly. They are made of expanded polyethylene foam which degrades much quicker that other types of foam. These are not biodegradable; they will break down into micro plastics that end up in the ocean and eventually into the bodies of people and wildlife.
We'll be using noodles the first time ever this Tuesday after the rain moving through( thank you Lord for the rain). We'll use frozen blue gill, night crawlers and frozen cataba worms. Wooooooooooooooo God Bless!
I seem to always get a smile on my face watching your videos sir ! GOD bless!!! 🙏🏻✝️😍

Fantastic fishing, this lake has a lot of fish, Congratulations you are an excellent professional fisherman! I love your videos!🎣🥰 Hugs and Happy Fishing!👍
That’s some monster catfish. Was that in the Tennessee river. I didn’t know that it’s against the law to use plastic jugs. I was wondering why a lot of people were using noodles around lake Eufaula. That’s where I fish at. I usually use bait shrimp and cut bait when I jug fish. A big blue catfish almost bite my wife’s thumb off one time. Usually when I have a catfish on a jug he’s going to weigh over five pounds. I like those circular hooks when I jug. I’ve done some juging in the Chattahochee river too. I like to go there and jug right after they generate at the Fort Gains dam. God bless y’all
Amen Richard, I love seeing fellow fishermen and outdoorsmen praise the Lord. He is so very worthy to be praised.
Praise God for every catch & meal.
God is good!
I could not believe it when you showed us how to catch gar with a piece of rope and you don't even need a hook
Jesus is lord
A few of disciples were fishermen too
To be totally honest, I never tire of a Richard Gene video.
Richard… I don’t miss an episode. Love your show.
I would put you up against anybody when it comes to fishin. And I truly appreciate your humor , dignity, and respect for the Lord.

Wow NICE BLUES... gonna try out that mustard/Zartarain's next time I fry up some fish! Thanks for the recipe.
Worrying is a sin. Thanks Gene I needed to hear that.
I love all your videos but like this one especially because of your reference to giving all your worries to the Lord!
You're a good man Richard
God is good, and faithful. Wonderful having such fellowship with friends I have never met. Love you brother's. Tight lines and good fishing.
Richard Gene is the best youtuber I watch hands down.
Broke several of the #3 silver circle hooks fishing with pool noodles in Lake Guntersville
Nothing like chilling w/ Richard Gene fishing machine in the evening!
Amen, Richard!! Would love to meet you sometime and - woooo! - catch a few. I have a fledgling little channel and always present The Gospel in my fishing videos. Thank you Richard your a good brother. The Lord continue to bless you. My grandaughter loves watching as well. Take care
The two of you together was great! By all means, invite Hank back to work with you. Very enjoyable watching y'all together. Whooo! And always, Praise God! Oh, great tips as always.

Good times thanks Richard & Hank.
Thanks for showing my boy and I how to jug fish, we tried it to day and it worked out great!
This was a video second to none Richard , I'm talking about Wooooo!
In a time with stupid expensive bass boats and crazy electronics, I am thankful to have a humble person like you to watch!
We enjoyed the video Richard. Thanks for sharing. God bless you and momma Sue.
Love these videos and the fact that it's clean . The love for God as well
Richard you are the Best, I wish I found your channel sooner... Been fishing nearly 40 years and I can't believe how much I have learned watching your videos... You are a BLESSING... THANK YOU MY BROTHER, KEEP FISHING IT'S GOOD FOR YAAA!!!!!
I love your video and the love for God coming from a pastor.
Richard,

Big kudos for how Hank was releasing those big fish! "Let's let him go." 👍👍👍
I’d call that “Real Noodling”! Love me some Richard Gene and mama Sue!
Glad to see you all witness you reach a lot of people good video. Thanks we went after church yesterday and got four cats before a storm put us back on the trailer but had a good time
Richard, your channel is second to none! There's a very small chance I will ever jug fish, but I enjoyed this video immensely. So relaxing.
Most states you have to label your jug lines. With name and conservation number or driver license number. You have to be in sight of your jugs too.
Would love to fish with you fellas. Have never tried this type of fishin. Thanks.
Awesome video Richard! Ya'll were rocking it on those catfish. Looks like a great way to catch a mess of fish.
Thanks for this instruction on this video. Took 10 of these out (TWRA LIMIT) yesterday in Watts Bar Lake and caught 5 blues in only 2 hours. Whooo.
I’m making some of these today but I don’t have a boat so I’m going to attach a retrieval line and stake it on shore
Awesome video Richard. Thanks for sharing. God bless you and Hank.
I enjoyed watching this video on jug fishing for catfish, and learned something along the way!
Just the best fishing videos ever!
Good reminder Richard! Worry,... it is a Sin, and We can ALL do better! Love it! BTW, just relaxed for an hour at my local creek and caught and released 37 bluegills! It was fantastic.. I used that patience technique, let the lure set and jig it, then it set...!
Always love watching your videos with friends. And this is very unique. Thanks for sharing this.
Richard: great video and very informative. Thanks for sharing - Roy
I caught one of the soft shell turtles. Like to have never found the noodle, but when I did, it was in only 2.5 ft of water near the bank, and was wrapped around limps on a tree. Was able to get the hook out and release him.
Richard!! I wanna see more videos with that man!! Y’all are a great duo. For the lord!!
I am glad you enjoyed the video! God is so good!
Richard, Thank you for sharing your expertise and your testimony.

This was good, RG. Thanks for sharing.

Exact same way I make mine. I like using the bigger noodles, that way you can get more jugs per noodle.
Richard I have been waiting for a video like this and you finally came through many thanks here in southwest Alabama we fish with noodles a lot I do use pvc pipe in mine I would love to see more video like this one keep up the good works
God Bless you Richard and Hank

Feeding the family and fishing is a sport's second to none 👍😂😂😂🎣🐟🌊💦
Getting knowledge and laughing at the same time……hard to beat that!!!!!!
Nice catch!! That soft shell was a big one!!!
The video does not do it justice. It was huge.

I'm totally doing this. RGTFM you're my Hero. Best fishing channel ever. My husband and I really enjoy all your content and so glad you do this!
Did it. Caught some catfish. Caught a giant soft shell turtle. Caught a big red eared snapping turtle. And one knarly gar fish. Those things will catch just about anything!
Great video. I have never seen this technique using pool noodles.
A 1/2 day on the water with RGTFM would complete my bucket list!

Made by petroleum products I think.
Yeah, this is absolutely not environmentally friendly like they said. A piece of a 2 by 6 would be better.
Everytime I watch Your videos I learn something. ♥️
@@kewlbri125 that kills trees.... lol the environmental wackos are gonna cry regardless
Coat them with marine epoxy and they should last a lot longer and not break down as fast.
I Love it! Great job.
Done this the other day and whacked them, gonna feed several families on July 4 th!!! Independence Day! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇲🇺🇸
It is a good way to catch flathead to, caught a 36lb flathead this spring. I threw it back look like female full of eggs
NOODLES !! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great fishing guys
thanks for letting me hang out with you! It was a great day!
Thanks Gene, I enjoy every moment.
Can't wait to try this God bless ya gentlemen
We'll be using noodles the first time ever this Tuesday after the rain moving through( thank you Lord for the rain). We'll use frozen blue gill, night crawlers and frozen cataba worms. Wooooooooooooooo God Bless!
Good luck!
I use a pvc pipe in mine because ive had many fish rip the line thru noodle,,just put a little glue on the pipe when inserting it in the noodle
AMEN MY BROTHER!..
Been doing that for years love every minute of it
