a huge issue with the Chinese recycled panels is that the inner part of the floor supports are not painted.this will will rust out in short order. your gonna get good at replacing the same body parts.
Yes I did bolt the pan to the frame, I took 4 long bolts and cut the heads off them and put 3 in the front and two in the back to use to guide them through the bushings on the frame, after everything lined up took them out got all body bolts in loose the adjustment where made then tightened snug
Hey I'm having to put a floor in my 56. And one rocker. What order would you do these in. put rocker in first? Then floor. Or floor and then rocker like you are doing here? Thanks
Very helpful video, thanks for sharing. I have a 56 that needs pans as well. How far apart did you punch holes in floor and trunk pans for spot welding back in? Are you still working on 57? Thanks again for sharing these great videos.
woog74 No I got burned out on it but I’m fixing to start back, I’m still fitting trim drilling holes for the passenger side stainless ect... I went to the nationals and got new bumpers and a ton of other trim and chrome, my pc crashed I was doing the video editing , but I’m fixing to fire back up on it, it will run on its own power now so I don’t have to get help on moving it around anymore, thanks for asking TJ

Do you bolt the new floor to the frame before install? Do you center the bolt holes? Thanks.

hey Rick, i left the old ones on till I got the floor pan in, trick either way is to have door on so you can get the bottom door gap right
Okay that makes sense.
You can slide a two piece floor in through the front windshield and then the other.
Do you know where the vin number is stamped on the frame. thanks
