Wow! Way to go! Circa 1979 I started work on a 150 utility sedan..floors looked perfect underbody but leaking wing window left a little rust on the front drivers side. While in the Navy stationed on a ship being built I scored a gallon of red lead primer...rust mored the floor panel, redleaded next and topped with black rustoleum...hasn't showed any rust since...LOL
Thanks! I see the looped bars now that line up with the pockets. When I picked up the car the seat was in a separate shed, and I have not test fitted it yet.
It’s a punch/flare tool. Available at Harbor Freight tools for about $25. Also on Amazon but a little bit more money. I cut the flanger off and just use the punch.
I only seam sealed holes. They were laser cut tabs on the replacement floor, and they were seam sealed on the original floor from the factory. I matched the factory seals.
That's a good idea to coat booth sides of the floor pan it should last for many of years.

Those golden star floors are nice
They look slick. I’m excited to get it installed. Thanks!
Nice work on the floors. Looking forward to more video's👍
Doing a great job 👍 best to you and yours!
Just wondering who made the floor, it looks great.
Both floor pans are golden star. I bought the trunk directly from them, and the main floor section was a FB marketplace purchase from Kentucky.
Hey Bud, What do ya call the tool you were using to punch holes for pinch welds . Need to get one don’t know what it’s called or where to get one

Why put seam sealer where there aren't holes?
I only seam sealed holes. They were laser cut tabs on the replacement floor, and they were seam sealed on the original floor from the factory. I matched the factory seals.
Do the whole floor it's the best thing to do let me tell you that
Do work…
