The medical side of my brain is slightly peeved that grant called sildenafil the "off brand" of Viagra even though it's actually the official name of the drug, and viagra is just one of many brand names of sildenafil lol
That's the American healthcare system for you; if its reasonably priced, we don't know anything about it and assume it's not as good.

It's not simply cheaper, it's astronomically so. You're paying more by a factor of 10 or more for Pfizer's brand name.
Also, paper envelopes are how many loose tablets are dispensed in many countries. As long as you follow proper storage guidelines it doesn't hurt the drugs, and it's cheaper and less polluting than other packaging options.

Source: I was told I could be put on prescription viagra for Raynaud's syndrome as a20yr old AFAB person if my blood tests came back with a specific primary cause. I actually suspect a different primary cause, but obviously won't know until the bloods come back
