Once you water colored it burgundy did you wash the wig with shampoo and conditioner immediately after coloring ? And when u dyed the roots darker how long did you let it sit and did you wash and condition the wig all over again ? Sorry I’m trying to do this exact look lol
After I colored it burgundy I didn’t wash with shampoo and conditioner as yet I just rinsed it with cold water. For the dark roots I let it stay on for 20-30 mins before washing off and then used shampoo and conditioner afterwards
@@Janicemonaee making the roots darker after already coloring the hair burgundy didn’t cause the dark brown to run into the burgundy color and mess it up! That’s what I’m afraid of
@@ajaharmani when doing the dark brown/black roots just take your time with it so it doesn’t cause it to run down on the hair. The video is sped up but I took lots of time😂. I suggest after you’re finished with the roots, the hair that you darken at the roots put it up in a high ponytail so it doesn’t run down !
So you have to bleach it in order for the red coloring to take the color, if you don’t bleach it first and try this method , the hair won’t be able to take the color because it’s too dark rather than 613 hair that’s way easier to take any color. Although the hair can’t bleach all the way to a 613 hair color , you could be able to bleach it light enough to still achieve this color. I hope I explained this good to you Ik I suck at explaining things 🥺

Did you go back in and bleach your knots ?
Or did you bleach your knots then go in and bleach the gair
