I saw a licensed cosmetologist do a bleach bath on her actual head yesterday and referred to it as a “shampoo cap”. Added shampoo obviously to the mixture and it’s meant to be rinsed soon after. So it’s probably only safe enough to lift off stubborn old color. Timing is probably too iffy with this method to lift from 1B on your own head. I’m sure someone out there has successfully done it tho.
