Ladies if you DON’T want to stain your lace coat it in PETROLEUM JELLY. Use dish liquid to remove when washing your lace. That’s the secret to not staining your lace. You’re Welcome 😉

Nice color I surprised that magenta color came out brighter then I expected like a cherry red color usually when people use a magenta color it comes out more like a burgundy or a fuchsia shade.

After you leave the dye in for a hour and a half you rinse it off with water first? And then wash the full wig in the silicone mix????
I recently had a request to color a wig-so thank you for this video-as for the rant I have seen several videos using the got to be spray-NOW I have been informed that’s not a good idea (thank you) I was wondering if you could use like the olive oil or coconut oil cooking spray? Honestly both are good for your hair-and may not have to be washed away I hope this makes sense 😮

Does the color drip a lot when u wet it? I had this color on my real hair and color was always dripping out
i suggest edge brush when applying the dye on the lace and just take your time when applying it around the lace ! it will not stain it and also i used magenta with a 40 volume developer and it it sit for till the next day and the color came out very vibrant ! if you looking for a bright burgundy color !
You do know it stops processing after a hour so you are going to get the same lift if you leave it on for a hour or the next day …and you can also use color oops to remove permanent or semi permanent color off lace if you get messy with application

Followed these steps, and turned a dark burgundy.
Update : I used red, not magenta. I got the correct color and it’s bomb!!! And my lace is transparent, it didn’t stain after both dye sets.

I only use Got2be spray when I’m ( water color ) dying my hair . I use the exact same company every time . Twice when I didn’t use the spray my lace turnt red .When I do use the spray IT DOES NOT STAIN AT ALL. It may be water base but that’s why you have to use 4 - 5 coats . Make sure you blow dry each coat. Hope this helps ❤️
yea that stray dont work for me and it also depends on the type of lace you are using! a color remover will remove any staining of color on your lace

They have a color stain remover for scalp and skin, i tried on my lace…I have been using it ever since

You have to have a certain type of dye. HI-color har dye doesn't require bleach. Just the developer.

I didn't leave the dye on my frontal long enough and it isn't as bright as my bundles 😫, would you recommend I use another box of the dye or just developer to lighten it?

i loved the video! i came here because i just tried this on my wig but it didn’t turn out as bright as yours 😫 but i now realize i didn’t buy enough of the hicolor. also does it matter what brand developer you use? and if i decide i want the magenta color darker, and use a lower volume developer, say 20, how long would the dye need to stay in
I’ve have been using different colors from the same brand and it never comes out as bright. I saw another video saying she left it on for 10 hours to get it bright.

Yes semi permanent washes out every wash. Literally. Get permanent dye if you don’t want it to come out.

Actually if you spray the lace enough layers and a blow dryer it will not stain the lace if u use the whole 1.89 bottle and the Vaseline is so hard to rinse and dish washin liquid does not work the hair be so heavy and greasy
Vaseline is actually not hard to rinse out all it take is hot water from the tap and layers of spray doesn’t work for permanent color maybe semi permanent
