These nice little details really do help give the game more life as well as the lighting & coloring helps give the characters more life within the natural environment of the tropical island of Mata Nui.

Lets hope the Lego company doesn't shut this project down and if they are somehow find out they find a way to support such a passionate project. Keep up the epic work everyone. Take your time and perfect this gem of a game. So far i'm long sold and excited to play this once its officially released.
I talked to the team on Twitter. They told me LEGO is usually lenient on fan projects. And as long as their not making anything off it lego said its okay.

Bionicle Mask of Light was incredible to me as a kid, finally being able to see these badass superpowered robots come to life. This hit me with the biggest nostalgia wave in awhile. This looks unreal.

I started crying when I saw the red star. I those guys are allowed to continue, maybe at some point we'll see a Voya Nui more accurate than what we got in Bionicle Heores (far too goofy and with too much visorak+bohrok).
Pohatu's little ADHD hops made me so very happy. Even if the game never sees completion, what a trailer that was. Brought me right back. And the Mata Nui adventure game music at the end... This soothes my inner child.
Breath of fresh air. An indie gamplay trailer where it's not perpetually dusk, no annoying bloom light effect and all the textures aren't reflective for some reason 😅
This is literally AAA without going AAA and delivering something that is GOOD. Bionicle lives on and it's awesome. My inner child is absolutely euphoric.
Just because its made in the unreal engine doesnt means its gonna be AAA please dont set your hopes to something unreachable by a small team of volounteers. Im saying this for your own good: Recognise the love put into this and Applaud the effort, but if you expect a triple A quality product at the end of this you will only set yourself up for dissapointment.

This is what was happening in my imagination when I opened my first Bionicle toy at 10 years old. Since then I wondered what a AAA videogame adaptation could look like, along with an entire generation of kids my age. I'm 30 now, and here we are. This is incredible work, sign me up 😢
As a kid who had grown up with Bionicle, this is everything I ever wanted ❤ This is the exact atmosphere and tone that made it so exciting and intriguing. Love the vocals at the end, just like the ends of those mini animations that came with the Mata sets ❤

I adore how "As Above, So Below" sounds like equal parts a call to action for the Toa to fend off the crazed Rahi, and a statement that whatever terrors are unleashed upon Mata Nui, its heroes and its people will always endure. And the trailer itself, the cinematography and dynamicism, all help sell the feeling of a grand adventure filled with wonder and tension. The character animation in particular is absolutely choice. Tahu's little flourish and broad sweeping motions, Pohatu's excellent running form, Kopaka's smooth and emotionally detached walk, Lewa practically galloping because he's not as graceful on his feet unless he's jumping or swinging, the sense of weight and power in Onua's swings, and Gali's perfect diving form make them all feel genuinely alive.

This trailer takes me back to being ten years old again, and I can't wait to play it and experience their world all over again through a new medium.

As someone who was 8 when Bionicle first launched, was disappointed when the Legend of Mata Nui game never came out, and always loved the first season best of the series, this is a dream come true. Excited to try it out! Onua for life, baby.
The frame stop when you hit enemy seems a bit too wooden to me, but besides that it looks perfect. I can't describe how much respect and gratitude I have for you guys
It's usually intentional to show the impact of heavy hits (monster hunter did it a lot with greatsword hits) but yeah it seems to do it on lighter attacks to making it look a bit odd.

I missed Bionicle because I was too young, and while I don’t quite get the appeal of it, I know this franchise has some weirdly deep lore that people were really impacted by and I love to see that this is making so many other people happy : )

There’s something really funny about nice, well shot cinematic work, with a hard rock backing track, for a game about Lego toys.
It's hard to believe I was still in middle school when I first discovered this project, now i'm graduating high school in a year.
It's just amazing how much passion this group of devs put into it for so long, it's beautiful, I wish everyone on this team the best...

As someone who was 8 when Bionicle first launched, was disappointed when the Legend of Mata Nui game never came out, and always loved the first season best of the series, this is a dream come true. Excited to try it out! Onua for life, baby.
The frame stop when you hit enemy seems a bit too wooden to me, but besides that it looks perfect. I can't describe how much respect and gratitude I have for you guys
It's usually intentional to show the impact of heavy hits (monster hunter did it a lot with greatsword hits) but yeah it seems to do it on lighter attacks to making it look a bit odd.
@@BlaizeTheDragon Yeah but something about it feels off here. Before I realised what it was I thought the game had some framerate issues that needed ironing out.

I used to love the Bionicle universe when i was a kid, this game was everything I could dream. Now i'm an adult, but definitely, I would buy this game. Thanks for creating this

I missed Bionicle because I was too young, and while I don’t quite get the appeal of it, I know this franchise has some weirdly deep lore that people were really impacted by and I love to see that this is making so many other people happy : )
