- It sure was a special night for Ke Huy Quan! The actor took home the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor at the 95th Academy Awards for his role in "Everything Everywhere All At Once." While accepting the prestigious award, he gave a shoutout to his "Goonies" co-star Jeff Cohen. Ke also reunited with his "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" co-star Harrison Ford.

Ke is a good example of American dream, perseverance, gratitude, positivity, and most of all, humility.
One of the best Oscar nights I have ever seen! It was filled with joy, respect, and so much love! The Academy brought us together! Bravo!!!

@@rezaman2080 Do both. Chunk and Sloth are now an adventuring treasure-hunting duo who've filled Mikey's museum with rare treasures. But one day they disappear while on a quest to search for a lost stash of gold that a thief stashed in a mine during the gold rush era, and can't be contacted. The rest of the original gang has to team up and try to follow the clues from Chunk's quest to try and find them. Meanwhile, the Fratelli brothers have been busted out of prison by their daughter (a tough Gina Carano type), who has gotten wind of the treasure Chunk was after. They break into Mikey's museum to get copies of the clues to go after it themselves. The original Goonies' kids are in the museum, and hide while they hear that the Fratellis are going after the gold and to get revenge against their parents. They decide they have to pursue them to try and save their parents. So they all end up heading towards these mines and hijinks ensue.

His story is inspiring. And one in particular is when he said his agent said they've got nothing for him. But his perseverance paid off IN A BIG WAY. I guess the thing is never give up and keep the faith. And seeing his picture with Steven Spielberg AND Kate Capshaw, whom was also his co-star in "Temple of Doom" looked like they've come full circle. Fate truly brought them together that night. So happy for them all.

Temple of Doom was my favorite because of him. Now when I'm watching him on TV I feel like I'm seeing the same kid from back then. His energy and character is still the same even though he's like 40 years older.
We want ke and Bransen Fraser in more movies. The humblest and best actors. Michelle Yeoh about time she got an Oscar. Love these actors.

I think it'll be unfortunate if he only ever gets roles specifically needing Asian actors after winning. The number of those roles are growing but they're still a very small percentage of all roles. I'm excited to see what he plays in Loki.

How much of a sad individual can one be to even want to deprive others for having fun with a sequel. Let people who do want to watch it, have that option to. Even Josh Brolin, who is a well respected and established actor now, even he said he is up for a Goonies 2 if it would ever be made.

Ke was my favorite winner because he knows all too well that fame is fleeting so you gotta savor the moment. And my favorite moment of the whole night was him hugging Harrison ford. Indy got to see shorty achieve great things!
Also it was a mini temple of doom reunion because not only did he get to hug Harrison, he got to chat with Spielberg and Kate capshaw in the commercial break.
Also the clip of him hugging Jeff in the hallway I was like oh that lady is about to walk in on a moment but then I realized it was ke’s wife echo lol

I cried but for personal reasons. I met my best friend when we were both a little older than when Ke Huy Quan and Jeff Cohen were in The Goonies. We were absolutely inseparable. However, life threw a curveball. He got married, had a child and he contacted me less and less until we have completely drifted apart. I wish, just one day, I'd have a life long good friend like Jeff is to Ke, into my 50's. That Instagram video he shared was too much man.
I hope this really is more than 15 seconds of fame for him this time. Hollywood so ridiculous and brutal but he's got an amazing attitude and talent.

Many years ago, Ke Huy Quan was a lovely, smart boy in his film with Harrison Ford and I am happy to see he reunites with Harrison Ford. Congratulation to Ke for winning the Oscar Award!

The narrative would be: Short Round got great influence and inspiration from Dr. Jones as a kid so he followed his footstep and became an archeologist himself... India Jones would pass down the whip and his legacy to Short Round so he could carry on the saga...
Ke Huy Quan is already a stunt coordinator and has done many stunts scenes by himself so he would be a strong candidate for this. What do you guys think?

Data was my fav character in the Goonies, so im so chuffed for him, a well deserved award. This years Oscars seems to me the year of the comeback Kids.
It's so refreshing to look past the glits and glamour and see the industry for what it is - a bunch of people trying their best to find work and make a living. K.H.Q brings the humanity and humility back to the industry. So happy for this man. Decades of dissapointing have not jaded him or take away his positivity.
Ke Huy Quan made one of the greatest comebacks in Hollywood history and I hope his agent had a much better answer when he called about his next job. Respect to Ke.

It was so exciting to see Ke dressed up in a tuxedo at the Oscars. He looked just like his successful, tuxedo-wearing counterpart in EEAAO. They say that "nice guys finish last," but Ke proves that you can be a nice, hardworking man AND still achieve all your dreams. He can have it all--his laundry, his taxes, his devoted and loving wife, and a whole slew of trophies recognizing his accomplishments!

It would bore me to tears and I would fall alseep.
But admittedly it was nice to find out about Brendon Fraziers win, as well as Key's astonishing comeback. And good for Michelle Yeoh, and Jamie.
Hope he will make another success. It feels like the universe has not abandoned dreamers! This ceremony brings hope and positiveness to this fragile world. So humble, so optimistic, so grateful! Very touched by this story. And he deserves the award!
