- Join us on our biggest passage yet! New Zealand to TONGA 1,100nm or 11 days. The Pacific is it's perfect best on days 2-7 as we motor sail the for a week, always anticipating the big storm that is about to hit us. Gorgeous glassy seas, blue skies and wind still days all blend into each other. We enjoy each day that gets slightly warmer, as we shed the layers and start to warm up. TONGA here we come!

Great videos! Just watched Sailing to Tonga 1 & 2. Can’t wait to see the storm and high winds in Part 3!😬
Thanks Beth. Surely you get enough of that drama
I was totally enamoured with the colour of the ocean. And so glassy!
And impressed with the sailing menu too. Nice work
Thanks AJ, the glossy ocean is totally mesmerising
Wow, Pacific blue 💙💙 thanks for sharing. If you didn't have fuel, how different would your trip be?
@@LadyPC without fuel we would have waited for a different weather window (one with more consistent winds) but we were so desperate to leave cold New Zealand, that we made the decision to motorsail the majority of the trip
Hi guys, a pleasant and interesting video, happily without glitz. I am a little surprised that you do not put out a lure for some fresh fish, but this is the first time I am tuning in - have subscribed so looking forward to seeing future episodes.. safe sailing.
Hi Andrew, we do fish, and lost a huge Wahoo on that trip.

Thanks for another fabulous video! The glassy blue water is so beautiful. I really enjoy being an 'armchair' sailor!
And a real ‘visiting’ sailor
