Sailing to New Zealand our worst 30 hours ever Adventure 122

Big Passages are never fun, at best you hope for days of boredom. As we leave Lord Howe Island we think we have picked good a weather window to get to NEW ZEALAND. Day 1 we have predicted some medium winds 15-20knots, but nothing more than that. A few hours in though the winds build all side on and the swell builds as well, also side on. All shifts are abandoned and we just hang on!

The Tasman is always a lolly pop jar , You never know what you'll get & I think this has to be the worst summer we've ever had , Even had the fire on in Feb. still you get what you get , Welcome to NZ = Enjoy .
