- The voice with which we normally use to converse on a regular basis is a bit different that the voice that most singers use to sing. This video is an attempt to show the advantages of singing with a lighter voice as opposed to singing with our talking voice.

woke up to this notification haha. yea, I understand what you're saying now and thanks for elaborating it in a video. I will definitely work on lightening my voice and taking the edge off. I been watching your riffs tutorials as well. I can do some runs I hear in songs, maybe not all as fast as the singer's, but I can hear it and break it down. I tend to use the same runs tho and note bends so that's another element I'm focusing on as well. but I appreciate it once again for the video and I hope this helps many others who may need this advice

How do you go into your singing voice?
Hi. Sorry for the delay. Let's see.... Ok. You're talking voice has a natural "edge" (for lack of a better word) Think possibly of when you hum. There's a difference. It's a lighter more agile & maneuverable voice. It's more versatile. Once you actually begin to explore it, you'll understand the difference.

made a new video. tried to take the edge off my voice like you mentioned. trynna figure out how to sing higher without feeling or sounding strained in throat. is it because I'm limited or maybe I'm just not opening my throat the right proper way in order to get higher. I feel I can but idk.
