man i love the variety of cars in GTD and GS racing. so refreshing seeing like 10 different manufacturers going at it instead of 3 or 4 big money makes like in other series. rolling works of art on these beautiful tracks. best sports car racing in the world imo!
Im just starting to get into racing. Why is this type of racing not more popular here? Track racing seems much better than oval racing. Why is nascar the most popular its so boring. Im currently getting into le mans style racing LMP and GTE. The GTE cars are also works if art. You should also check out formula E its action packed. The races are only 45 min and they have things such as boost zone.
It's not for everybody. Nascars not just ovals tho. They have 6 road course tracks. I'm a nascar fan and I really like oval racing. It keeps the cars side by side at a high rate of speed for a long period of time and allows for tons of passing. I really appreciate this type of racing too tho.

Here in England we get very good Eurosport coverage of such, and for Le mans, my preferred method is to listen to Radio Le mans and his commentary, and turn down the sound on the Eurosport commentary. He and Jeremy Shaw now commentate on the IMSA races in the USA. Have you any idea why he stopped doing the Eurosport commentary please?

Why would pit limiter be anywhere close to the radio? Why would limiter be set up to be functional in anything but 1st or 2nd gear? Where is the ignition kill switch? under the throttle pedal?
I was lucky enough to watch this live when it happened. My wife heard me screaming "HOLY FUCK, HOLY FUCK", and ran into the room thinking something was on fire lol
The race was delayed like an hour due to lighting, then shortened cause it was getting late. Threat of rain/rain/no rain but wet track back and forth all race, what tires to use, huge strategy calls. Car's sliding off the track all race, then that final lap. The next morning all the DPi and GTD/LM teams were talking about the pit limiter button!

None of these cars are stock, but at least are closer than in NASCAR where they are just shells made to roughly resemble a production car But really it’s the driver that made the difference, not the car (Just look at the other Camaros, they were much further down) All of the cars in the race are amazing cars that are further modified for racing And while yeah this racing modified Camaro is a beast, it’s not really any faster than the other cars it was racing against The driver however, dude has some SERIOUS balls!! Looks like he would have won this race no matter what car he was driving
