Well it is very reliable. It does the same thing every time.
The manufacturer is Reliant, the car model is called "Robin".
Its the predecessor to the Reliant Regal (also a tri-wheeled car)
I love how that one guy was hammering down the fact that as long as you never turn and always drive straight, you have the greatest car ever made.
They actually corner realy well in reality. Sadly you never see them in action. in the UK there are a few guys still having fun with them

Jeremy's dedication and love for the show was very clear, he was willing to do everything to make the best and most enjoyable content, i admire him for that.
Well it was his and Wilmans baby after the reboot in 2002 so it makes sense he’d give it his all. But yeah still admirable nonetheless

This whole thing is hilarious but there was a serious side to these cars and it's amazing that they were actually legal on the road. One crashed into my dad's Cortina in the seventies and had rolled over before impact. My dad told me the reliant disintegrated into a cloud of fibreglass bits on impact and I recall him going to visit the driver later in hospital. I don't recall the Cortina needed much fixing.
Rolling a Robin into a super fancy, modded Robin--still one of the best surprises in a TG episode. Gets me every time.

This is the Mr. Bean car. Not Mr. Bean's car but the blue car that always drifts into something when Mr. Bean is around.
I think the real issue is the very small, single, and centered front wheel which controlled the steering, as well as the car having much too small of a wheelbase to make turns at speed. For a car from the 70s, it's aerodynamics are fine. The body style seems like early 90s cars, and it's pretty small

I rolled a reliant down a hill in the lake district once. It rolled three times and landed on its feet on the hairpin bend below. Almost no damage which we fixed with gaffer tape. Great cars.

I remember watching this when it came out with my Dad. We were absolutely howling with laughter and crying the entire time. Plus we lived in Sheffield so was an added bonus. Still funny till this day.
