    So the Porsche bumps the corvette basically forced him off the track and no one bats an eye and then when the Corvette taps the Porsche and the Porsche drives him into the wall everyone blames the corvette... Really?

      @@Lutzilla_ they are both assholes. Porsche was defending (a bit too much) and corvette straight up rammed the porsche, then the porsche pushed the corvette to the wall, the driver lost control and went sideways. Both were assholes if you ask me.

      but you can not equate that from the back with the corvette with the pushing away of the porsche ... that stands in no relation in my oppinion...if i could..i would judge the porsche-driver for that accident

    • @adodoes8770
      @adodoes8770 6 лет назад +8

      @@Lutzilla_ true but if corvette adapted its racing line it could have gone around the porsche rather than following the porsche driver. The porsche will obviously defend (he did, too much and was pusching the corvette off the track) but corvette, being the faster car, could have easily gone on the inside.

      Both teams conceded that it was nothing more than "good, hard racing". Both teams had banged into each other earlier in the race (we even see the Vette bump the Porsche on the second to last lap). Both drivers stated that it was nothing more than good, hard racing and that there was no intent from either to wreck the other. So.... yeah...

    The 2016 Daytona 24 isn't just one of the greatest finishes in history, it was also one of the best races I've ever watched. It doesn't matter what class you were watching, the entire field had action absolutely everywhere. If I remember right Corvette's team radio said "You guys are free to battle, just don't take each other out."
    Edit: If you look closely the C7.R flashed the DP Corvette for being too slow in the bus stop and the DP Corvette also decided to hang back until the banking to pass the GT cars to not risk ruining their race in the tight infield.

      Sukki Blue the porsche never pushed the vette of the track just tell me when do you think that happened because i cant see it and what the corvette did last corner was just a bitch move he shouldve stayed behind him the porsche driver was clearly the better driver

      @lukas6610 6 лет назад

      Sukki Blue he didnt push him of the track he left space but the corvette got to greedy so he drove a little to close and hit the porsche and slowed down because of that if i were him at that corner i wouldve braked late an turned in late because you can clearly see the corvette has more hp but also more oversteer so if he gained alot of speed in the exit he wouldve defenitly passed him on the inside but the porsche left enough space

    These are some great battles. GT cars in my opinion are more fun to watch, although LMP has had some great battles. There is one thing I don’t get, whenever I watch the older GT cars they almost seem faster than the new ones?

    •  3 года назад

      Same thing happens with a lot of racing series, most notably F1. I think it's because of the cameras. Old cameras were worse stabilised and so looked faster.
