This is the first time I’ve seen anyone use one of the “specialty” buttons! The stew button! Most videos I always see people use manual or sauté button and I wonder why did Instant Pot company put all those other buttons on the device? What are they for and how do they work? Do you have a video showing those other buttons in use? Or a video showing what those buttons cover, like what time length each button has or does it just do a certain temperature? I feel like I never utilize them, and maybe I’m missing out on good use from ignorance about my appliance.🤗
We usually use the saute button and the manual/pressure cook button the most. You have more control over how many minutes you want your food to cook that way.
You can adjust time and temperature with the preset buttons. I love the rice button. I live in Tennessee and I had big problems using the pressure cooker button to cook rice. The rice button is set to 12 minutes for white rice. I lightly roast the rice in a couple Tbsps of olive oil while running chicken stock in microwave for 2 minutes. I pour stock over rice and hit rice button. I do a natural release on rice. Fin

@@SixSistersStuff goodness. It was fabulous!!
can you do more carnivore recipes?
I love the recipes but what if your cooking for 5 to 6 people? These don't even fill the pot it seems on the video. Also, how much more broth do I add to cover the roast? My pot always burns if I don't add more. Do you have a web page with the recipes written down for shopping list? Thanks so very much! You make cooking fun!
You can find a lot in the description above that is right under the video. Here is the link for recipes: www.sixsistersstuff.com/25-of-the-best-dump-and-go-instant-pot-recipes/
@@SixSistersStuff Thank you! Bless you for this! I'm new at cooking and really need help! Lol. Thanks for making it simple and easy to understand and COOK! YUMMY!😁❤
I'm curious what your favorite sugar free BBQ sauce is? We use sugar free, as well, & have loved G Hughes' sugar free BBQ sauce. Love hearing people's favorites, especially since it's hard to find truly sugar free things sometimes.
We usually buy G Hughes or Rays
Thank You #2
ha ha! I am #2!!!! :)
@@SixSistersStuff yea I pay attention you taught me everything I know about my Instant Pot!! 💞
That makes me so happy! Thank you! 😘
You give us the direction but it never looks like the amount you say. Ex. 1 cup onion in first recipe and the cream cheese in the Alfredo. It looked like 4 oz.just not sure if you just don’t like that much or what? Sorry but I just want to know if the amounts are optional

Fin
@@denicesanders4586 Awesome! Thanks for the info! I will definitely use that button for my rice! That’s way easier. I always go too long and overcook it on manual setting.🤗
Hope it works for you. You might have to work with the recipe. The altitude is pretty low here.
