These recipes look delicious! The tip about adding tomatoes and tomato paste last (on top and not stirred in) is golden. Thank you so much for sharing with us! 💕
your recipes just float my boat ...they all look so yummy...thanks for the tip with the burn sign as i did wonder why it says burn when funnily enough tomatoe paste n tomatoes ha ha genius ...thankyou 🤗 gonna have to make all of these ...🙂🙂
Hi friends, hope you’re hanging in there during these uncertain times. I’ve been spending time in the kitchen because cooking is meditative for me. What’s your favorite relaxing or self-care activity to do when you’re stressed? In my Instagram Stories, I'm sharing 10 easy things you can do at home to de-stress!
I just bought an instant pot for the first time. I've looked at a lot of your videos in the past and that's one of the reasons I bought it. I'm looking forward to making some of these recipes. As a family of vegetarians it's always a great thing to come across your videos! One question that may be you or someone else may be able to answer. I thought you did not need to soak beans overnight if you're cooking them in an instant pot? I was wondering why you were soaking beans and chickpeas overnight? Thanks!
I just HAD to go vegan for my health. My arteries are clogged from years of eating meat. I went on a whole foods plant based diet (i.e., vegan, but non-processed low or no oil vegan) and within two weeks I lost 5kg! I look better, I feel better, and I am on track to nail my next health checkup. I don't feel deprived at all, I feel BETTER! lol. My sister came to help me get into new habits, and gifted me an instant pot to help.... so here I am.
I would like to thank you for all your recipes and suggestions on how to save on shopping. Most of the meats are sold out in my city, so it was good that I was following more of a vegetarian diet since I've been following you. While most of my friends are freezing whatever meats they got their hands on, I'm like "I'm good. Got lots of grains and beans at home !"
Just wanted to stop in and tell you that your Thai Red Curry soup is now my husbands absolute favorite dinner :) thank you for sharing such wonderful and nourishing recipes :)
Wait a second, wtf????? I got your cookbook ages ago on Amazon when I was looking for a good vegan instant pot instant pot cookbook and it was so well done that you got me really into instant pots. I had lost the paperwork with the instant pot so I had no idea how to use it so your description of everything was incredibly helpful in the beginning. I've made so many of the recipes that I've started looking for some other options to mix it up but I still really love all the recipes I've made there. I'm not feeling well today and wanted to make something a little different so I just Google it and this video video was recommended and dad and when I saw your name I was like wait what the hell that's the same name as the lady who made the awesome cookbook. I had no idea you have a RUclips channel! You have no idea how happy this has made me! I'm gonna try the tomato soup today but I have instantly subscribed because I know you do awesome work based on your cookbook. Thank you for making that cookbook and everything you do. Sorry for any typos I'm using speech to text and it does really weird things sometimes.
Do it. I love mine, and I recently bought Nisha's cookbook, which has made me use it much more and make (way) better food! I know I sound like an ad, but I cannot recommend this enough! :-)
It's so amazing that you travelled to Thailand for a period of time and am able to bring back the flavours to your home kitchen! It's one country that I would love to visit one day.
My wife and I just received our instapot as a wedding gift and we love it. My wife hasn’t been feeling well. I’ve jokingly mentioned becoming a vegan may help. Definitely praying for guidance and wisdom, because Ik she’s not going to want to.
Just make vegan meals for her. Dont even tell her they are vegan. Just slowly start incorporating healthier meals into your daily lives. You get to avoid the mental obstacle that makes her believe she miss ingredients because its only a meal here or there. You'll be able to go at a pace that allows her taste buds to slowly change. Its how i got healthier and lost 60lbs. Its not a diet, if done right, its a lifestyle change.
I could never shake my allergies till I went vegan. I suffered and suffered and finally when I went vegan I got better! Animal products wracked and ruined my body. I hope that you can help her. 🙏🙏❤️🙏🙏
These look delicious -- can't wait to try them! For the Israeli bean soup, try using a Yemenite spice blend called "hawaij." This is the secret behind many a delicious Israeli bean soup.
The white bean stew seems similar to Palestinian (Levantine) white bean stew, aka fasoulié beda. All Israeli food is based on either native Palestinian (Levantine) cuisine or other countries' cuisines since the vast majority of Israelis immigrated to the Holy Land within the past few generations.
Thank you for these awesome recipes. Funny story, I usually rate the food I make off of three criterias: taste, texture, and how many dishes do I have to wash preparing it. Haha
I can't wait to try these out. I adore 1 pot recipes with unique flavor profiles. The way your knife was so easily going through the veg...I have knife envy! I checked out the knife link you provided, but I didn't see the same knife. Could you share where you got this knife please?
I'm so glad you liked the recipes :) I just updated the description box withe knife featured in this video (this one, along with the other one linked in the decsription box, are my absolute favorites)!
Hi Nisha, great recipes! I have a question about chickpeas and long grain brown rice cooking in 12 minutes. I have to pressure cook brown rice for at least 20 minutes in my instant pot. I am curious how you manage to cook both in 12 minutes! Thx.
At last, vegan recipes for my new Instant Pot! Although I'm not vegan, I consider myself a reductionist and these great recipes will make the transition to veganism much smoother! Thank you Nisha! You are making the world a better place!!
Got the white bean stew going in the trusty old Instant Pot now. Just have to be patient and wait for the natural release. Already made the gremolata, which smells great.
I was just watching recipes for the instant pot and found myself disgusted by the fats and meats. I think it is finally time for me to go vegan as I have wanted to be for years.
Ok i’m methodically going through your recipes and trying them and this Thai soup is beyond good and so easy. I didn’t even puree because it ends up getting cooked quite nicely where you can stir it with a fork and everything mashes up if you leave it in natural position for 10 minutes because I forgot about it actually. Anyway thanks again for a good recipe!!
I made the sweet potato curry tonight and served it over jasmine rice. It was amazing! Best thing is that I have plenty of leftovers to have for the next few days.
It's fall and I'm ready for some delicious hot soup; all of these recipes look amazing! I love using my instant pot to save time so I'm ready to head to the grocery store and start cooking. Thank you!!
LOVED the Sweet potato soup recipe. Instead of ginger and garlic slices I used ginger garlic paste. I didn't use red lentils or agave(didn't have both),and I didn't use the blender towards the end. The soup tasted amazing even without me adding those ingredients
Hi! I’m here because I need some inspiration. My husband has colitis and he can’t eat meat or dairy. I’m addicted to the IP. Funny thing is I used to be scared of it.
I LOVE your recipes, all of them! Thank you so much! Your cookbook is so fantastic, not one recipe has ever let me down. SO worth it! I hope you publish more!
Wow! I don't like parsley but so far you haven't failed me with your flavors, so I tried that Gremolata topping at the end of the White Bean Soup and it is sooooo good! Your recipes are helping me to get some much needed nutrients into my diet in the most delicious way. Thank you so much!
Your tip to add the tomato sauce and paste on top is gold! I've been making Misir wot (Ethiopian red lentil stew) in the instant pot and the recipe includes tomato paste (which I would stir in) and it would give me the burn warning every time! You're a life saver!
I'm so happy the tip is helpful, yay! Canned tomato products can be tricky in the IP, so this tip usually helps. And Misir Wat is SO good. We've been ordering a lot of it during the pandemic from a vegan Ethiopian restaurant but I need to try it at home too!
I just made the curry soup in my instapot!! OMGOSH! It’s so heavenly, comforting, & yummy! I can’t thank you enough for your recipes! You light it up with all the wonderful flavors!! I am so impressed! This will definitely be a winter recipe always in our house forever!🍃💗🍃💫
my bf is Pakistani and wanted to go plant based to get healthy with me. I am so glad I found you. No tea no shade but a lot of white people (like myself) don't flavor their food as much . Showing him that there are flavorful dishes by someone from a similar background has helped him feel more confident going into this. Thank you!
i made the thai sweet potato lentil soup about 50-11 times since discovering this video last month and i love it more and more each time. i also season some take&bake bread from the supermarket bakery and bake it until its nice and crunchy so i can dip it in my soup. ugh so GOOD!
I didn’t think about taking a dump 😳Also, if I don’t feel like cooking, I especially don’t want to prep a bunch of ingredients. Just trying to determine what is so “dump and go” about these recipes? 😂😂😂 They look very yummy tho, and I’ll try them out ☺️
I am just about to make the Instant Pot Fennel, Chickpea, and Brown Rice Stew everything ready to go, accept, I forgot to soak my chickpeas. I only have about 3-4 hour until I have to have dinner ready. Should I quickly make something else or I will be fine ? Please advice.
Hello Nisha! If I want to double the quantity of chickpea stew. Should I just double onion, fennel, garlic, canned tomatoes and tomato sauce. Please respond. I want to cook tonight and soaked chickpeas already. Could you please specify this doubling and redution part in your recipes page going forward please
Looks marvelous. Will try it this week. What are your thoughts on RAW vegan to get more nutrients? Have any raw vegan recipes that don't taste like “rabbit food”? (I've never asked a rabbit how they feel about their cuisine.)
Hi Nisha, we love trying your recipes! I searched for the Israeli bean stew recipe but couldn't find it on your website😔. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks!
Oh Nisha, these recipes just keep getting better and better. I am off to the grocery store right now to pick up the ingredients and stock up my pantry! Thank you! :)
i seriously don't understand why people waste their valuable time to come to vegan channels to give a thumb down. don't they have something better to do than let their hate take over their lives? are their lives that miserable? seriously. be kind people. it goes a long way. if you don't like vegan food channels, why click on it in the first place? no one is forcing it on you.
If I have a recipe I use on a regular stove and it uses stock, coconut milk, some other liquid, do you think I would have to add extra liquid to make it instant pot friendly?
What are your thoughts on cooking the onions, garlic, and shallots with oil first in the PC on sauté setting then the dump rest and go? I thought it it would be more flavorful that way or no?
These recipes look delicious! The tip about adding tomatoes and tomato paste last (on top and not stirred in) is golden. Thank you so much for sharing with us! 💕
I'm so glad the tip is helpful! I hope you will enjoy!
your recipes just float my boat ...they all look so yummy...thanks for the tip with the burn sign as i did wonder why it says burn when funnily enough tomatoe paste n tomatoes ha ha genius ...thankyou 🤗 gonna have to make all of these ...🙂🙂
Hi Susie, thank you so much :) yes, the burn notice can be a bit tricky but there are some tips to get around it or avoid it!

Tried the red lentil curry recipe and loved it so much I'm now going to have it as a weeknight dinner weekly!

Just got my instant pot. Going to try all of these. They look amazing! 🎉
How do you determine the time it has to cook in the pressure cooker? Thanks for any help :)
Good stuff
Thank you!
You make me want to buy an Insta pot Nisha! 😚
Aww thanks Chad! They're so useful!
My instant pot meals are never this pretty, amazed at how you make them so tasty and beautiful! Oh, and also your hair looks AMAZING.
HA, there is a bit of work that goes into food styling lol. And thank you!
Your personality is so amazing and funny! You inspired me to go vegan and to cook more! Thank you!
Awwww that is so nice to hear! I am so grateful I've helped you go vegan and start cooking more.

You are so welcome, Miriam! I am glad that my tips have been helpful for you, especially during this difficult time!
Every time Nisha looks up at camera while using the knife
Me: NOOO Nisha! We're not worth it!
Thank you for your kind concern. Safety always first.
Just wanted to stop in and tell you that your Thai Red Curry soup is now my husbands absolute favorite dinner :) thank you for sharing such wonderful and nourishing recipes :)

These are perfect meals for right now! I have all the ingredients already for the white bean stew, going to make it tonight!
That's great to hear :) Thanks Nedina! Hope you enjoy it.
I just made it, it's soooo good!
Making me want to buy an instapot!
So so useful!
Instant Pot
It would be worth it. Plus prime day will be held October 13th and 14th may be you'll be able snag a discount on it. :)
Do it. I love mine, and I recently bought Nisha's cookbook, which has made me use it much more and make (way) better food! I know I sound like an ad, but I cannot recommend this enough! :-)

So wonderful to hear! You're very welcome, Ursula :)
It's so amazing that you travelled to Thailand for a period of time and am able to bring back the flavours to your home kitchen! It's one country that I would love to visit one day.
It's such a beautiful country with the most delicious food! I hope you can make it there one day :)
My wife and I just received our instapot as a wedding gift and we love it. My wife hasn’t been feeling well. I’ve jokingly mentioned becoming a vegan may help. Definitely praying for guidance and wisdom, because Ik she’s not going to want to.

How’s she doing Dello? Wishing her good health
Is it equally delicious if i use a classic crock pot???
That’s a great present, hope you and your wife are still enjoying it.
These look delicious -- can't wait to try them! For the Israeli bean soup, try using a Yemenite spice blend called "hawaij." This is the secret behind many a delicious Israeli bean soup.
That's super useful! I will look for it the next time I go to a Middle Eastern grocery store. Thank you!
You can pickle the fennel stalks. Two weeks later and they're a delicious crunchy snack + no waste :D
This is gonna level up instapot game thanks so much
Hooray! Happy to hear that :)
Newbie vegan here! Loving these recipes 😋😋🙌🏼
Yay! Thank you!
The white bean stew seems similar to Palestinian (Levantine) white bean stew, aka fasoulié beda. All Israeli food is based on either native Palestinian (Levantine) cuisine or other countries' cuisines since the vast majority of Israelis immigrated to the Holy Land within the past few generations.
you are an instant pot magician !
Aww thank you Leila! That's the best feedback and I love that nickname!
lol she totally is!
Thank you for these awesome recipes. Funny story, I usually rate the food I make off of three criterias: taste, texture, and how many dishes do I have to wash preparing it. Haha
Love those criteria :) And you're very welcome!

Excited to try the fennel chickpea stew! I've been wanting to cook with fennel but didn't know what to make. Now I do :)
Yay, glad to hear that Liz! Fennel is such an underrated and delicious veggie!
I thought the same thing with dump lol!! You are so funny
Hi Nisha, great recipes! I have a question about chickpeas and long grain brown rice cooking in 12 minutes. I have to pressure cook brown rice for at least 20 minutes in my instant pot. I am curious how you manage to cook both in 12 minutes! Thx.
I finally got a instantpot and can't wait to make all these recipes they look so good !!!
Yay for a new instant pot! Happy cooking!
At last, vegan recipes for my new Instant Pot! Although I'm not vegan, I consider myself a reductionist and these great recipes will make the transition to veganism much smoother! Thank you Nisha! You are making the world a better place!!
That looks delicious. I'll be getting an instant pot and for my vegetarian journey.👍
Got the white bean stew going in the trusty old Instant Pot now. Just have to be patient and wait for the natural release. Already made the gremolata, which smells great.
I hope you enjoyed it! Gremolata is one of my fave condiments to perk up a meal!
Delicious !
Loved this one . Can you also please show us how you take care of your chopping board ? How to clean and maintain it to prolong its life ?
All of these dishes look amazing, really great combination of aromatics and ingredients. Lime is so crucial to Thai curry so kudos for including it!
I was just watching recipes for the instant pot and found myself disgusted by the fats and meats. I think it is finally time for me to go vegan as I have wanted to be for years.

Thanks for sharing, Emily! So happy you enjoyed it and have some leftovers in the fridge :)
Your recipes are great. FYI there is no such thing as Israeli White Bean stew.
Awesome chickpea curry, My all time favorite veg dish.
It is one of my favorites too and I am so happy you enjoy them as welll!
It's fall and I'm ready for some delicious hot soup; all of these recipes look amazing! I love using my instant pot to save time so I'm ready to head to the grocery store and start cooking. Thank you!!

I'm so happy you loved the sweet potato curry soup and were able to modify it to the ingredients you have.
Hi! I’m here because I need some inspiration. My husband has colitis and he can’t eat meat or dairy. I’m addicted to the IP. Funny thing is I used to be scared of it.
If I don't have an instant pot can these still be one pot recipes with longer cook times?
You are so creative with your recipes. I love that they're approachable but not at all boring. Thank you!
Aww that's the best feedback! Thank you Victoria!
These 3 recipes look wonderful! I plan on making them soon-thanks Nisha! ♥️
Yay! I'm glad to hear that :) Happy cooking!
Beautiful video my dear! All 3 meals look very delicious and flavorful. Also, I love your wavy hair. ❤️
Thank you so much Ela! I love making the simple meals.
Great videos. Does anybody else use the sauté function first for their onion, garlic, fennel, carrots, celery, etc?
I do but just be careful to deglaze the pot really well with the stick or it can result in getting the “burn” message once you start pressure cooking!
Now all I need is a slow cooker... I've got the ingredients already. Thank you so much for the amazing recipe! ❤
Thank you :) I use the pressure cook setting on the instant pot, but a slow cooker might work as well!
I LOVE your recipes, all of them! Thank you so much! Your cookbook is so fantastic, not one recipe has ever let me down. SO worth it! I hope you publish more!
Aww that is SO nice to hear! I am so grateful for your support and feedback. So happy you have loved all my recipes :)
Never thought of using grated potato to thicken soup - thank you for this tip!
You're welcome :) I love it because it's also inexpensive and you can buy potatoes anywhere!
It's such a great tip!
I love this instapot!!! It’s so easy to use, clean and cook with!!
These are the recepies I was looking for. Thank you, you are the best ❤
Thank you so much for sharing! Literally making this week and using as a means to calm and de-stress! :)
I cannot wait for you to try! Sending you lots of love.
I can't have lentils really, they bother my guts. I use TVP
After binge watching like 15 of your videos and sending them all to my mother I subscribed!
Aww haha I love that you sent them to your mother. So cute!
Do you have any summer instant pot recipes (When I'm not in the mood for soup/stew)?
Love your recipes thanks always for sharing!
This girl knows her ####!!! Everything is delicious I've made following her work. thank you
Thank you for sharing how to make these delicious recipes in the instant pot! I was running out of healthy ideas. Love your channel!!
my bf is Pakistani and wanted to go plant based to get healthy with me. I am so glad I found you. No tea no shade but a lot of white people (like myself) don't flavor their food as much . Showing him that there are flavorful dishes by someone from a similar background has helped him feel more confident going into this.
Thank you!
Oh, and I used canned chickpeas b/c that was all I had on hand and it still turned out great. I will use soaked chickpeas the next time I make this.
Your recipes look incredible! My hubby and I (both vegans) were just gifted an instapot, so we'll have to put these recipes to use!
i made the thai sweet potato lentil soup about 50-11 times since discovering this video last month and i love it more and more each time. i also season some take&bake bread from the supermarket bakery and bake it until its nice and crunchy so i can dip it in my soup. ugh so GOOD!
I made the tomato-fennel chickpea dish tonight and am very happy with how it turned out and how easy it was!! Thx for sharing these easy recipes!!
Definitely DUMP & GO. 🤦🏻♀️😒🙏🏼
Oh my gosh! These look amazing! How could I make the recipes without an instant pot?
you're my favorite vegan youtuber
Hi, is there a way to cook these without soaking, like if you forget or in are in a hurry? (I always forget to soak haha)
Thanks!
Yes, I hate the expression “dump and go”
Which is your favorite out of these 3? We aren't vegan but I want to try one but not sure which one to try first
Oh Nisha, these recipes just keep getting better and better. I am off to the grocery store right now to pick up the ingredients and stock up my pantry! Thank you! :)
Aww you're so sweet Karen! I am so happy you like them. Hope you enjoy the recipes!
The red curry soup is Amazing!!! I had to purchase the instant pot cook book! Thank you for all that you do!
You are so welcome, Quintin!
The second one especially looks delicious. Love white beans.
Thanks! You may love cooking, but I'd really suggest learning some knife skills :-)
I was just meal planning for the week when I saw this video! Definitely going to try all of these in the next few weeks!
Glad to hear that! I am happy it came just in time :)
@@RainbowPlantLife - I just made the tomato-fennel chickpeas with brown rice! Amazing!
Israeli stew should be slow cooked. Like 8 hours in a crockpot slow! Only way you get the flavours. Low and slow.
The tiresome richard family moan because mole unfortunatly long round a merciful sushi. electric, sparkling story
Would the same directions apply for the Cuisinart 6 Quart Pressure cooker?
Great recipes... I’m just worried for your fingers, look into knife skills classes
i seriously don't understand why people waste their valuable time to come to vegan channels to give a thumb down. don't they have something better to do than let their hate take over their lives? are their lives that miserable? seriously. be kind people. it goes a long way. if you don't like vegan food channels, why click on it in the first place? no one is forcing it on you.
All the chopping! I thought it would be throw everything into the pot 😅
If I have a recipe I use on a regular stove and it uses stock, coconut milk, some other liquid, do you think I would have to add extra liquid to make it instant pot friendly?
any recommendations for instant pot that cooks for max 2-3 servings under 70$ ?
The Israeli white bean stew turned to be amazing ! Love your channel ❤️
I'm glad to hear that, Poonam! Thank you!
Could ingredients for these be prepped early in the week and then frozen so I can just dump it all in when I’m home from work?
What size instapot are these recipes for? I just got a mini (3L) one and I want to make sure I don't overload it!
What are your thoughts on cooking the onions, garlic, and shallots with oil first in the PC on sauté setting then the dump rest and go? I thought it it would be more flavorful that way or no?
Hi, thank you for this video. Question - why do you soak the beans? You don't really have to with the instant pot right?
Hello there!
It may sound silly, but what’s vegetable broth? And how do you make one?
Hi RainbowPlantLife - I love your videos ! What type of knife do you use?
