My 14 yr old son who has Down syndrome & has had oral aversion to food since a toddler, many years of failed food therapy and NEVER tries any new types of foods that are not on his favorite small list. I put a small bowl of this in front of him (expecting it to be on the floor within minutes), and I turned and walked away. I made myself a bowl and realized I didn't hear his bowl hit the floor yet, so I turn to take my bowl and go sit down at the table with him.. Only to find that he's practically finished his and he's signing for more please! I was in shock and even had to hold the tears back. I can't believe it!! This is a keeper! Thank you.

Idk how they prepped all that in only 1 hour, it took me 4 hours (but I did make 2 batches of each recipe)...however I was suprised how little dishes I had compared to other "freezer meal making days" ive done in the past! My freezer is now full and im excited to eat through it all the next month!
Or flat leaf parsley. I’d suggest 1/3 chopped celery, 1/3 chopped celery leaves and 1/3 chopped flat leafed parsley. I on the other hand love cilantro!
On the beef stew recipe if you leave out the frozen peas, cook as the directed then when done add the frozen peas, then go set the table, get the drinks, etc., you get the idea and the peas should be warmed up by that time. This way the peas don't get over cooked and the whole recipe tastes fresh and so yummy. My family lives it this way!
I did this recipe in my instant pot for 30 minutes I added instead of the cream of mushroom I put 2 Cans of Cream of Chicken and 1 Cup Beef Broth for extra liquid and this turned out awesome for my family since I dont eat Beef Stew. I would also think about 1 Can of Cream of Chicken and 1 Can of Cream of Celery to make it creamy for those that dont like the Cream of Mushroom. I also Turned my pot on Saute Mode first then I added my 1 Cup Broth so it would heat up a little then added the rest of my Beef stew then I turned my pot off once my Beef Broth got warm I put my lid on to sealing then I set my Pot to pressure for 30 minutes so I didnt have to wait long for my Instant pot to take long to build pressure. I just love your recipes I use them all the time. I have played with the cooking time on a lot of your recipes. Take mashed potatoes you cut up 5 medium potatoes in quarters add 1 1/2 cups chicken broth then put your potatoes in your silicone strainer basket for your instant pot for easy no draining your potatoes. Put your lid on set to sealing then set pressure 7 minutes. pour out your liquid from the pot put you potatoes back in take 1 cup milk and 4 tablespoons butter and 1 teaspoon Salt & Pepper then Take 1 Cup either mayo or Cream Cheese then add 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and onion powder and Mix with your blender till smooth and creamy no lumps and leave on warm and serve once your dinner is done. But then I started to take one recipe and split it between two freezer bags and it made the portions so much more manageable. Love these ideas - I always freeze as much as I can. I am single but find I cook alot at one time. I make what I call Three Can Soup 1/2 can Corn drained 1/2 can Black Beans drained 1 can Vegetarian Soup Mix together , season to taste , freeze the leftover beans and corn and makes several helpings for one person.

Stewed tomatoes -- hubby says they are big tomatoes and can you use smaller tomatoes: I drain them, dump them on a plate and chop them quickly and done. (I'm not worried about pretty!) Takes about a minute and you still have the flavor! I think you need the flavor in the soup BUT an alternative is the diced tomatoes that have flavors. I always have the one with basil but I like the "chili ready' and the one with green pepper too. I have a couple of kids who griped about the tomatoes, no matter what! I kept using them and they got over it. Now they prepare their food with tomatoes for their families!

I tried the beef stew in the instant pot and found that I did have to add cornstarch to thicken it to my liking. Thank you once again. I don't know if you've ever tried doing a chuck steak in the instant pot but I did and reverse seared it. It came out great. I had some leftover and used it for steak and eggs in the morning.

Just bought me some of those freezer bag holders and dump and go freezer meals cookbook PLUS ya'lls recipes. To make the black bean recipe vegan, use the beef less crumbles(which taste just like ground beef) Bring on 2021!

On the chicken verda you could add cumin. And I don't homemade verda sauce today have use the instant pot alon with chicken Colorado and have frozen both

SUGGESTION - What about mixing the soups with the potatoes before pouring into the bag to see if that would prevent browning of potatoes? Just a thought. 🤷♀️

I just noticed you used a marker on the freezer bag. If you can use a label or mark on the label first, then apply on your bag. The marker leeches through the bag. A safety note for your subbers!
Hey girls! Wonderful wonderful ideas for a quick dinner. I did have one question though. Do you just throw the entire Frozen contents of the ziplock bag right in the slow cooker? We are now a Dump and Go Freezer Meal Family hehehehe Well i have done a bit here and there in the past but y'all made things so soooo understandable but also look so easy i had to try it. I love the difference in this pack of 8 Meals, even if I have seen some of the recipes in other videos but it was just a very nice variation of a mix. My Boys are Happy boys well More happier than before now that i got so many put away. I Totally lost count of how many we have and how many of each prepped and ready to go but I would say 30+ but not just this 8 but of others from your videos and y'alls website and well some other ppl's and some of our own favs we did over a 3 day period. but that is not all day and with prepping, pulling and subbing this and that for what we couldnt' get or I thought i got but didn't or just things we had and I wanted to use instead. We have done so far the country cut BBQ Ribs and the Hearty Beef stew last night and doing the French Dip for tonight
Maybe writing on the bags w/a marker. letting yourself know what's in the bags, the date you put them in the freezer, & cooking times, could avoid confusion in the future.
If i forgot to take the meal out of the freezer can i just put the bag to defrost in cold water and cook on slow cooker ? that's what i do with hamburger meat i put it on a ziploc bag, i flattened the meat in the bag freeze it and when i needed i just put it in the sink with cold water and withoud 5 minutes get defrosted. If you are worried about salt then dark soy sauce is a better option as it has less sodium in it compared to regular or light sky sauce and has a much nicer flavour.

I have made this pack 2x. Each of my 5 kids will eat every single meal! It has life with distance schooling kids so much easier.

Try putting in the water and actually not stirring. It might help.
you can also dice a bunch of onions and put them in freezer .Then you just take them out as you need them.

Just bought me some of those freezer bag holders and dump and go freezer meals cookbook PLUS ya'lls recipes. To make the black bean recipe vegan, use the beef less crumbles(which taste just like ground beef) Bring on 2021!

Corn of course isn’t actually a vegetable - it’s a grain (like wheat…?) therefore higher in carbs. Still good to use though, and just saying.

I use the crushed tomatoes for my family. My kids won't eat cooked tomato chunks. Still very good.

Hi I have some questions: What is the IP cooking time on the Sesame Chicken? And on the Swedish Meatballs do I need to add any water to it? Also, I want to clarify the cooking process for the meatballs, I heard 7" cooking time but I also heard thaw overnight. Do I have to thaw before cooking or can I pop it in frozen? For the Honey Sesame Chicken in the Instant Pot from frozen, cook on Manual for 25 minutes and
you can do a quick release or a natural release

Ladies....I just put the Salsa Verde Chicken in my Crockpot....going to be so yummy! I make a very delicious smoked salsa verde pulled pork. One of our favorite meals during Harvest time (married to a Farmer/Rancher) the guys LOVED it. Going to serve the chicken on tortillas tonight

I am almost 32 weeks pregnant with my second baby and have been making freezer meals (using a lot of your recipes!) and now have extra ones that I can add to my collection! I have made your ribs recipe a few times and my husband loves the sauce, but dislikes the country style ribs. How long will it take in the instant pot if I make the same recipe with baby back ribs instead?

On the chicken verda you could add cumin. And I don't homemade verda sauce today have use the instant pot alon with chicken Colorado and have frozen both

I've never tried mushroom soup in beef stew. And I don't like tomatoes in it either lol. So I'm going to try beef stock and then I'll put mushroom soup in it if needed Thanx ladies for the ideas.

I just noticed you used a marker on the freezer bag. If you can use a label or mark on the label first, then apply on your bag. The marker leeches through the bag. A safety note for your subbers!
Hey girls! Wonderful wonderful ideas for a quick dinner. I did have one question though. Do you just throw the entire Frozen contents of the ziplock bag right in the slow cooker? I'm curious as to how it would fit since it's going to be a big frozen square? Maybe a dumb question but I've never done this before. Appreciate your time.
Try rotel or fire toasted tomatoes in the place of plain stewed or plain diced. By the way, you can chop whole stewed tomatoes yourself.

Well i have done a bit here and there in the past but y'all made things so soooo understandable but also look so easy i had to try it. I love the difference in this pack of 8 Meals, even if I have seen some of the recipes in other videos but it was just a very nice variation of a mix. My Boys are Happy boys well More happier than before now that i got so many put away. I Totally lost count of how many we have and how many of each prepped and ready to go but I would say 30+ but not just this 8 but of others from your videos and y'alls website and well some other ppl's and some of our own favs we did over a 3 day period. but that is not all day and with prepping, pulling and subbing this and that for what we couldnt' get or I thought i got but didn't or just things we had and I wanted to use instead. We have done so far the country cut BBQ Ribs and the Hearty Beef stew last night and doing the French Dip for tonight

You could probably sub out the chicken for a meatless option like tofu.
If you blanch your potatoes before you freeze them in those bags you can leave them a lot longer.

Maybe writing on the bags w/a marker. letting yourself know what's in the bags, the date you put them in the freezer, & cooking times, could avoid confusion in the future.
We use beefy onion soup mix works great on roasts&stews.

cilantro is tricky most people taste either a lemony pepper or soap so I would try a lemon pepper seasoning as a sub

Also one good to freeze is chicken breadt or thighs with just Italian salad dressing. Great on salads
We have had chicken marinated in Italian dressing and it's delicious.
When do you add seasoning? After everything is cooked? Salt, pepper etc....

If i forgot to take the meal out of the freezer can i just put the bag to defrost in cold water and cook on slow cooker ? that's what i do with hamburger meat i put it on a ziploc bag, i flattened the meat in the bag freeze it and when i needed i just put it in the sink with cold water and withoud 5 minutes get defrosted. Thank you for the video i really enjoy it
If you are worried about salt then dark soy sauce is a better option as it has less sodium in it compared to regular or light sky sauce and has a much nicer flavour.

Do you have a conversion table showing your recipes’ cooking times for Instapot and for slow cooker? My Instapot also has a Slow Cook mode.
Do these things need to defrost before cooking? I’m guessing probably not but is was wondering mostly about the roast.
