@@elpunto231 I am moving to a place with a proper shop again and I am going to dig out some old plans and build some of the classic models. Nothing better than a balsa model cover with silk and dope that you built yourself!! I think some of the older 1/2 A models will be great after electric conversion and with modern radios!

Watching you guys talking about, and flying, the vintage planes makes me realize how old I am ;-)
I really enjoy watching your videos. I only wish that I could just jump in the car and drive over to see you and fly with you. Unfortunately, that would be difficult from New Jersey, USA ;-(
This is a great tribute to your late friend.

Beautiful! Well flown! I salute you and I salute your friend Darko, he has made works of art, in a time when it was so difficult compared to today. I hope to see you fly this perfect bird again sometime... and I hope one day, if I try my best, I shall build a plane that lasts FOUR years, let alone forty. :)

This is the style of the plane that I am most familiar with. My dear brother made them. I made the silhouette body from a kit. I only had to do some sanding. He made the scratch built style. Slow and graceful is my style. Thanks for sharing this old style.

My friends and I go in cycles with our hobbies. We first started flying R/C while in high school in the 1970s. Then we went back to it again in 1999-2002, and now we're going back to it again. Each time, we re-learn how to fly with planes left from the last time we did it. The planes I'm reconditioning now are 20 years old, and should still fly just fine, with the OS and SuperTigre engines from the 1990's. The hardest thing to find here now in the US is glow fuel, it has to be ordered on line, none of our local hobby shops carry it anymore, because nearly everyone flies electric. But I'm much like Captain Blaz, I love working on the engines, and making them run again. Especially 4-cycle engines, I love how they sound.
