Very nice Richard. This black art gets me very confused. If I listened right, the mast is vertical and you have no shims? I always understood that the blades must be shimmed on the trailing edges in order to spin up. This proved that assumption wrong!
The mast is vertical but the blades are angled back. There are no negative shims due to the design of the aerofoil, they simply bolt straight onto the flexi tri plate.

Yes, it is still used by UK farmers which isn't good.
