I originally wanted a base Bronco since it listed for $29,999 MSRP but with dealer markups in Ohio making them $50,000 or more for a base and now the QC issues with Ford Trucks which used to be a minor problem…I may never buy Ford again but every other car manufacturer has been marking up prices also and having QC issues as well. I think all the car manufacturers have gone beyond greedy to just not caring. But that’s just my opinion.
What amazes me is that quality gas gone down, prices have gone up incredibly, and now these people are striking because they think they deserve more money. Really, are you serious?
@@dr.emilschaffhausen4683 nope just ignorant artogant.management like all of the big 3. They look to next qrt, japanese plan 10 yrs out. If they have markups, they are just flat-out schemers. Good news: it'll back fire this year. Let them fail. Help them fail... Refuse to buy and have patience.
At this point I would say the dealers really do not care. They don't care about the guidance from Ford Corporate or taking customers to the ringers. Don't do business there, there are much better options (Mazda and BMW come to mind)
No markups at all these days. Those days are over. I work for a ford dealership. Only markup is on the Ford Raptor R. Only because we get like 2 a year. Everything else is under sticker.
Probably helped by the fact that Chrysler makes what two products now? Plus I don't think Dodge Chrysler Fiat really does recalls very often. It's just an open secret how they break.
My 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 has 269834 miles and is paid off. Lmao, I would be furious if I bought a brand new vehicle with a note attached and it broke down.
Screw Ford. 4 dealerships last weekend had 10k markup Bronco trim I wanted. All were in stock. Nasty sales people said that was fair market. BS! I asked if I drove off lot 50ft and back if I would get it back any part of the 10k. Silence. Used Toyota Smart Path and bought 4Runner limited at MSRP. Sounds like I made the right choice. Ford dealers need to pay a price for this. Also, if I ordered a Bronco STILL a 10k markup. Aholes! Ford can go to... complained to corporate but they are helpless.
Either wrangler or 4Runner will be better buy, u can actually get 3-5k discount if going with Jeep that in stock. I reserved ford lighting in 2021 and opted for R1T last year when I saw how much markup the dealer wants on a f150. Guess I will never purchase a ford 😅
Hey there, you are the first car guy I've found that I can stand. All the others are either overly dramatic, talk with shrill voices or ridiculously over exaggerated tonality, like nails down a chalk board. You're really interesting, easy to listen to and get straight to the point without a bunch of ridiculous bs to wade through. You have a subscriber and I have a car guy now. Thanks for your hard work!
I walked into a Jeep dealer to look at a new Rubicon and they were playing Dueling Banjos over the PA system. I turned around and ran back to my car and got the Hell out of there.
I said the same thing bought a fully loaded jeep wrangler unlimited x games edition in 2015 has everything the Rubicon has mins the sway bar disconnect and the full lockers. Even has the steel vented hood. 42k in 2015. A 20k mark up? 50k to 55 is responsible but 60 plus?
Yup i was looking at a Jeep Gladiator, well equipped it was $70k+ thats luxury brand prices for a Jeep. So ended up buying a Q7, $50k probably would have given Gladiator more consideration
Why can't some people just drive their vehicles and enjoy them? We've had ours for 8 months and we love it. I have multiple friends with Broncos, neighbors with Broncos and I see Broncos everywhere I go. Not one friend or neighbor has mentioned a single negative thing about their vehicle. Then again, none of us are operating a RUclips channel that profits from spreading panic about things that effect a small number of people.
Thats awesome for you! Meanwhile my Dad and his wife were killed when their bronco sport burst into flames due to a fuel injector malfunction after a collision, it's a different view when YOU are that small number of people. Enjoy your Ford though!
@@kdorris73bronco and bronco sport are two completely different vehicles. Never heard of that on bronco sports. However that is horrible. Several evs and newer cars with a lot of new tech did have fire issues that had to be recalled. Mainly big electric batteries.
Last two Fords I bought were a 2005 Mustang convertible, and a 1999 Ranger. All the Mustang has needed was a harmonic balancer and struts. The Ranger has only needed a complete front end rebuild, universal joints, and an alternator. Still have both of them. Regular maintenance, and moderate care, and I've no problems. Not planning to replace either of them anytime soon.

Purchased an Outer banks from Portsmouth Ford in NH, Price was MSRP, They gave a great price for my Trade in , gave some extra dealer discounts, didn’t push extras left it up to me if I wanted anything, and after price agreed to the manager did some extra number playing without asking and lowered the price some more. And I love my baby bronco.
I’ve got a 21 Badlands 4 door, non SAS Lux softop, got the recall on the back doors, it was a quick fix at the dealership, same dealership that sold it to me at MSRP in November of 21. I love the Bronco and haven’t any problems with it.
I was so enthusiastic about the Bronco. Thought I might get one, the I saw the price, the gas mileage, the weak-kneed acceleration. Then remembered the last 4 Fords that my wife and I have had in 25 years and the issues, with wheel bearing "assemblies, coil failures, transmission and engine failures and windshield leaks. All of them bought new. and I'm going to need a much better deal to buy any ford, any time soon. I like to buy Made in America. Which is one of the few nice things you can say about ford.
uh, Ford makes a LOT of their vehicles in Mexico. I mean, Mexico is still in America.....North America that it. So, Made in America isn't exactly "false" advertising. The Mach-E? Mexico. The Maverick? Mexico. The Bronco Sport? Mexico. The BIG badge Fords still are made in the US though i.e. the F150/250/350, Ranger, Bronco (not the Sport), Escape, Mustang (not MachE) and many others. In any case, your experience with Ford products mirrors my nightmare of owning a Contour SVT. Easily the worst piece of junk I've ever owned.....and I had Enron stock at one point LOL.
Reserved my my bronco wildtrak with a small deposit, the wait was too long, ending up getting 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition. Zero issues so far
You did not get affected by the recalls so far on them like the transmission recall or power steering pump or throttle position sensor or brake master cylinder etc. Over 31 common issues on them so far. People buy modern Toyotas thinking they are as dependable as a 99 tacoma with roll up windows, manual trans and no tech. Its halarious to see. They switched to turbo charging and new tech just like everyone.
I'm not here to apologize or promote Ford but my experience is completely different. I took delivery of my Bronco in Nov. 2021. So far (knocking on wood) mine has been flawless! Not one single issue after 20K miles. It is the most fun and capable car I have ever owned. Puts a smile on my face every time I get in it. I've owned Jeeps recently and it is like driving a car from the 70's compared to the Bronco. There is a reason there are Jeeps available all over at MSRP, nobody wants them. I paid MSRP for my Bronco and cringe at others paying mark-ups. This is all the buyers fault. Just walk-away. Sooner than later all those idiots willing to subsidize these unscrupulous dealers will fall out of the market and the dealers will be left with unsold Broncos. Just look at the truck market, there are tons of new trucks waiting to be bought. They all have mark-ups and are just sitting unsold. It's a game of chicken and eventually the dealers will give in if impatient buyers would just stick to their guns!
Your experience doesn't create clicks, likes or subscribes no matter how amazing it is. Without 48 engine failures out of tens of thousands produced, this video would have zero views. I can't imagine living my life constantly looking for every negative thing I could make a video about. We have 12,000 miles on our '22 four door hard top with 2.7L and could not be happier. My wife LOVES the vehicle and for the first time, SHE has the cool car in the household. We also own a Wrangler, we love it, but the Bronco just takes everything we didn't like about the Wrangler and fixes it. More comfortable interior, more power, better ride, quieter ride, and just overall build quality. We do some intermediate wheeling and have no plans to push the limits of the vehicle in the Jeep or the Bronco.
Good job and from a lifelong exp in new/used auto sales for 58+ year's it is amazing that anyone could keep the showrooms open with the cost of biz today. Moving to Ecuador and finding a Toyota Hilux used from returning gringo to USA it is a totally different world here.
Same here in the Philippines where the Hilux is available also. I can't afford the US anymore. Never realized how good I had it in the 80s and 90s.. Those days are GONE.
My dad was a ford dealer mechanic in the 80's, and it sounds like they are still doing what they did then. They rush something into production with out doing and long term development test and just let the customer find the problems. Which is why he told me never buy a ford made after 1980.
0:44 I can confirm this is true. I inquired about Bronco Wildtrak or Raptor & the lone Ford dealership on my island said they'd add a "dealership mark up fee" of $9,996 for the Wildtrak 🤯 & that "the Raptor would be an even higher mark up". That's INSANE. I really wanted a Bronco, it was more appealing overall than the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon package & the Toyota 4runner TRD Pro...but if it's just a massive cash grab ON TOP of the already hefty MSRP, I pass. I'll take my $70k elsewhere & get a better more for my money.
First rule in life is avoid first gen no matter of it is electronic or mechanic. Let them iron out the kinks and whatever issue that they didn't catch in the test mules.
Right people think modern Toyotas are as dependable as the 99 tacomas with no tech and roll up windows and act shocked when they start having issues. 😂
The Bronco market is changing. A year and a half ago there was no supply and huge markups over sticker. Now most all Bronco models are plentiful and some dealers are selling them at sticker price. If you want to buy, be patient. The market is moving in your favor.
You are right about that plus Ford factories will be shutting down soon for retooling getting ready for next year's models so inventory always grows this time of year as there will be much lower delivery numbers now until about August or later. People don't realize the industry keeps going through supply line changes and will need more time to make sense of the fluctuations in numbers.
Ford won't need to worry about re-tooling anything, people are sick of $10-20 thousands in markups. I'm not a markups person & if I wanted it I would do it myself. Ford, Ram, even Toyota are loosing a lot of business by Ford & their stealerships arrogance. If I want something, I'll put it on myself not get charged double by engineers that can't do it right after years of experimentation.
@@dustyking8851 Ford has never failed to shut down any factory for retooling. @@dustyking8851i work at a ford dealership. No vehicles have mark ups except the raptor R. Just sold a 24 bronco today new at 2400 under sticker. Now all dealerships arent rhe same. Every single manufacturer had dealerships getting crazy with markups during covid. Less supply, same demand equals higher prices. Now that its been a while if you are paying over sticker, you loose 😂
It's sad how things have gotten. Worked for Ford, Lincoln, and mercury dealership 27 years and I hope Fairly can straighten out this mess. Always loved my F150s and Grand Marquis.
what i have watched online is a lot of low end broncos where bought up before the hit dealers and modified with after market parts and sold at a large markup so i would check the vin and see what came with it from the factory it is real hard to find a all factory 2 door base 4 cyl 7 sp with steel factory rims the one i want and will never be able to own
I'm already employed by Ford, already ordered my Bronco WildTrak via discount A plan and all, so no dealer markup here. Most every auto company has problems with a new vehicle in its start up years. Fast forward to now (6/23) I've researched most of these problems, they have been, or are being taken care of - including the valve issue of their 2.7 twin turbo V6.
I remember seeing that jaw-dropping Bronco debut commercial a few years ago. I was ready back then to trade in my Taco on the spot. Glad I didn't. I just broke 100k miles with zero problems except a cracked 3rd brake light.....and I have the first year model (2016).
When I was at a Ford Dealer they had a Bronco that was about $45,000 MSRP. They were charging over $65,000 for it. People are not going to pay 6% APR plus tens of thousands above MSRP.
I'm sure that your low-tech wife's truck is very appealing and safe that but some of us want a truck this more than just a tin can and can actually do something
Got a 2022 OBX in Sept 2022 and am loving it. For all these sky is falling vids out there of the 20 or so Bronco owners I have talked with all are loving them with no issues.
I was getting the itch to get me a bare bones Bronco. With one condition. It has to have the V6 engine. I've searched here in SoCal. No deals anywhere. Not paying any mark up what so ever. Especially with these all these re calls. Going to wait another year to buy my next vehicle. Thanks for the updates
My thoughts is that the bronco is for rich people who can't afford a G wagon. So my theory is if you want one you'll find one on a used lot in 3 years when the economy is further in the trash.
My entire family is a ford family and i dont know why. They constantly bring it back to the dealership for issues with just about everything. Theyre all less than 3 years old. I drive a 2006 Toyota Tacoma with 220,0000+ miles and it runs and works great.
These new vehicles with all their options. Reactive armor windshields that blow out in case of crash. Disposable engines to avoid those pricy oil changes and the park feature for the transmission. So many choices. Trying to decide on which ones to get can really be overwhelming. Although it seems that the few I mentioned here have become standard features.
Same here, better quality and higher resale value, if you ever sell it. My 20 year daughter is driving our 2010 Highlander…she was 7 years when we bought it (220,000 miles)😅
I bought Fords my entire adult life. The last good Ford I had was a 2003 SVT Focus. I bought a 2012 Focus (bad transmission) and a 2014 Escape (Ecoboost head gasket issue) so I for my latest car I bought a car from a different manufacturer. It will be some time before I consider buying another Ford.
I had a 22 Bronco and sold it back to the dealership I bought it from for 15% more than I payed for it. The bronco ended up at a dealership in Norman Oklahoma for 15 grand above sticker price. Good luck.
Between quality issues and INSANELY outrageous prices, this is yet another example of why I say BUY OLD! You can buy a 70’s bronco, put in a new motor, new transmission, new tires and brakes and have a New truck. For a fraction of the price of a 2021-23. And not have any computer issues, chip problems, emissions problems or any of the other ‘improvement’ failures that new vehicles have.
Yeah, but one prob with your solution: you get in an accident in a vehicle with a 40 year old frame and body, you'll be painting the inside of that thing with your brains....
I purchased a 2022 Ford F150 Powerboost and had two recalls- both minor issues (windshield washer motor check) and (flickering LED brake lights). I am very happy with the vehicle and it is my third new F150 since 2015. IMHO, what matters is what issue the recalls are for- major ones are more troubling. Wiring can be a set of bad harnesses, etc. Remember, they were running skeleton crews from about 2020ish through late 2021.
All of these vehicles across all brands are getting to complex. The possibility of something going wrong is incredibly hi, even when properly built. EV and gasoline economy engines have very tight tolerances. To bad we won’t be allowed to go back to simpler designs.
@@mkshffr4936 After congress backed down on emission standards in 2003 and GM crushed the EV1, auto makers figured that congress would continue to back down. They were wrong and wasted the 20 years development time. Now they are stuck selling overly complex ICE cars and EVs that cost 2 or 3 time more to build than they can sell them for. Now we are supposed to bail them out? They need to end.
As a real '22 Bronco owner i can say love it. 2.7 engine. Since I've had it and driven it off road almost every weekend from California to Nevada and added 26k miles I've had 0 issues. Yes, zero. No quality control issues. Didn't have to order it or pay any ridiculous markup. Soo, how realistic is all this crap about issues? It isn't. Oh i owned a 21 jeep gladiator before with nothing but issues that jeep couldn't fix. I can back everything up with facts not fiction.
Funny how our ford CEO says QUALITY is number 1 but yet inside these ford factories we’re given the notion that QUANTITY is number 1 and quality doesn’t mean anything anymore.
Same thing happened with my Chevy Uplander (discontinued) Valve seat covers shattered and the warranty was rendered void. Had to buy an entirely new engine, which then also destroyed itself.
Hate to say it, but I don't trust American Brands anymore. It's all Toyota/Lexus, for me. My Toyota Pickup truck now 35 years old, I'm still driving it as my daily. It works fine. Paid off a long time ago.
@@mojavedesertsonorandesert9531 Same here. i will say American interiors are flashier and better outfitted but the interior doesn't get you from A to B. I bought a Chevy specifically to Buy American.
My first car was a 2001 Ford Focus that was purchased new. That car was pretty much my favorite car in life. It lasted me all the way through 2011 when it was totaled in a crash. After that, got a 2012 Ford Escape. Another amazing car that, if it weren't for a hailstorm, I would've still had to this day. I don't know what happened to Ford between 2012 & 2015, but I bought a 2015 Ford Focus, thinking it would be like my last Focus. Like night and day. That 2015 Focus was crap. I went through 3 "PowerShift" transmissions in that car. The car loved to shudder & stall. There were battery & other electronic gremlins that would have my lights completely cut off while driving (even at night). I kept the car until it was almost the end of the warranty period and decided to try once more. In 2018, I got another Focus, but when the transmission still shuddered while driving at only 3 months of ownership, I traded it in for a Mazda3. My Mazda3 is still in my driveway and aside from regular maintenance, I'm approaching 85k miles and this car is still riding and running just as good as the day I bought it. Ford just stopped building quality vehicles and banked on brand loyalty to sustain them and, there's only so much brand loyalty people can have. Do I think the Bronco is a nice vehicle? Yes! I would LOVE to get one, but the experience of owning a modern Ford have made me not want to ever own another Ford vehicle again.
Ford is always good about issuing recalls, so at least they will fix the issue. Unlike Fiat/Jeep and GM, who ignore the issue and would rather fight in court.
The Bronco was and should have been a solid front axle, 6cyl base with mid size v8 option, manual trans standard, auto trans option, inexpensive, basic tech, 2dr, 4x4. What we got was a grocery getter with a good off road package. The Rover D90 was more Bronco than the what we have now. Looks sell but performance and ease of repair keep buyers coming back for more.
My last experiment in buying a modern Ford was in 2017 baught my wife a 2015 Ford Fusion SE. Biggest mistake I have made and knew better than to do, but I wanted to see for myself if Ford was better. Well lets just say it was horrible and my wife drives a 2020 Camry SE.
Only one of those recalls bothered me. They fixed all of them, so let's get real. I bought multiple German made vehicles and Germans now build most of their cars to fail and they don't fix their failures. In fact, they lie. Should I mention the lies on MPG? Better example: the Audi CV (constant velocity) transmission fails so predictably that almost none make it past 50,000 miles. Most fail around 30,000. Good luck getting it fixed. I had extended warranties. Had three fixed. All failed again... in less than a year, or close to it. After that, I couldn't find anyone willing to do a repair. Literally, by that time, all transmission shops refused. Cost of a new one: $7,000+. Of course, they also give you timing belts versus timing chains. Plastic impellers versus metal. I literally could name hundreds of components designed to fail. I will NEVER buy a German made car again... ever. So, quit bashing a company that actually fixes their problems. You really aren't doing apples to apples comparisons at all. You have no idea how much you should value a company that admits their flaws and fixes them.
I purchased an f150 and almost traded it in because of the door locks freezing and having to warn the vehicle up for 30 minutes to thaw the doors. I'll see if the recall fix remedies the issue next winter.
The quality issues on Fords really started getting bad during the Covid scare when factories began coming back online IMO. Also if Ford wants to stop losing money someone needs to figure out why every Ford F-150 range vehicle not made at the KC plant come off the line with zero gas in the tank. It's been that way for years so someone is making bank by not putting gas in those vehicles but still charging the dealerships for said fuel.
It's very small and very inconvenient and less than the sum of its parts. And the fact that you think it looks cool and that justifies that money, means you're part of the problem if everybody hated it and thought it was drunk you would think so too. You sound like The Tick Tock internet hype generation carbuyer
@@outbackeddie in the words of Neil peart.... so much style without substance so much stuff without Style.... welcome to the superficial internet social media based society
The new issue with the Bronco is that while flat towing, if the voltage drops too low while in transit, it will automatically go out of flat tow mode and shift into Park causing a catastrophic failure of the transmission. Ask me how I know. A $7,200 bill that was covered fortunately under warranty.
Social media and the internet have the power, look at what misinformation hype and disinformation can t do to a presidency. Now even with the drumpf family crimes and the fox fake news. They still support him.. even with everything people know about Ford, they still feel compelled to buy them
Farley said there will be no more dealer markups. So he increased Ford prices. Farley said quality control is no 1 priority. Crickets......crickets....waiting for outcome.
Please don’t trade/sell that Toyota for Ford; especially, after watching this vid. That truck will last 3x’s as long as the new Bronco. I wish that I could find an old Bronco and fix it up!
Amazing recall numbers. I recently had work done on my old fj80 Lexus wagon. The tech looked up any recall bulletins and over all the these years, the number is……. 0
I feel like there should be a version of Forbes to go from dealership to dealership making sure they aren’t ripping people off and holding these dealerships to a standard
i have a comment. my 2022 f150 was delivered on september last year, and i can hear sort of a bolt loose under the steering wheel after a week i was driving it, now can hear it more often, what should i do?
Ford motor company has 3 problems. And these are some very significant problems. 1. 600, Ford dealerships, we're ninety days past due on their payments, in 2020. That would be the dealerships, not paying their bills. That's a huge problem. I looked here in my area, and out of 11, 10 of them we're on the list of potentially defaulting. And the one that wasn't, is over 100 miles away. Which means, if I take my Ford car, to a Ford dealership, right down the street from me. It's a high probability, that they're going to overcharge me, for service, because their owners, have a verifiable history of not paying their bills. And they pass that expense off onto me. To the form of $170 per labor hour. And you would think, that the technicians in the service department, would know what the hell they're doing. But you would be wrong. All they got in the one down the street from me, is a bunch of warm Bodies, sitting in chairs. Giving everybody the, we don't want to fix it price. Number two. The country of commiefornia. the only product that technocratic class of people has, is a diode resistor. And according to their state law, you must have x amount of diode resistors, in your orifices. Before you could even sell a car in that country. Which was a great proposal, when the government of commiefornia was in charge of the fifth largest economy in the world. But since the commies have taken over, and decided to put themselves in the middle of the automotive industry. An industry that none of them are qualified to regulate. They have managed to run that economy, straight into the ground. But, you have to have x amount of diode resistors, in your orifices. Before a single car can be sold in that country. One thing the technocrats never understood. Is that all you need under the hood, is spark fuel and compression. Everything else is bullshit. Number three. And probably the biggest problem Ford motor company has right now. Over engineering. They have great ideas. And big plans. Except, the engineers that they have on hand, have no idea how to implement them. In 2013, Ford motor company pulled my father out of retirement, so he could go down to their truck manufacturing facility. And show them how to get their seats to line up properly on the tracks, so the robots could weld them together. It turns out, the production manager at the F-150 plant, had no freaking clue what the hell he was doing. Because they hired somebody out of the University, with theoretical engineering education. And not somebody off the shop floor, who had practical engineering applications. He was told, he would be there for a couple of days. 7 weeks later...My father went down to their public library, pulled a book off the shelf. That was titled, 13 manufacturing problems, with 13 manufacturing solutions. And now you have an aluminum F-150. I don't know who the hell is running the show up there at Ford motor company. But I can tell you, with a significant level of confidence, that whoever it is, has got their head so far up their ass, they can't even smell their own shit! Rectal cranial inversion, is a real thing. And it is a serious problem at Ford motor company. They sold us, on a full-size, v8-powered, off-road vehicle. What we got was, a science experiment implementing the current trends in technology. Personally, I don't give two shakes and a squirt about the number 7 USB port. And I can thoroughly navigate the roads, without a backup camera or Lane assist. Now they're expecting me, and others like me, to take out a mortgage, on a vehicle. And pay it off in less time than it takes to pay off a house. So they can continue to implement their communist socialist agenda, and they're technocratic society. On us, at $65,000 a pop? You can kiss my shiny metal ass on that one. In short, Fu Ford. Fu straight in the a. I have to Mustangs, a Ford escape, an F100. And spent over twenty years, working on their products. Both professionally, and at home. No more. When these cars are dead. When I can no longer get even, cheap Chinese counterfeit parts, out of their dealership parts rooms. I'm going back to riding a freaking horse.
Totally with you buddy! Feds should of let Ford die! bail out was waste of taxpayers money.Seriously do these engineers test what they make? Loose bolt in transmission? Pathetic!
Ford lost me as a customer in 2012 when I bought a new F-150 and asked the salesman at Tunkhannock Ford (Pa.) about the bad transmissions in 2011's and he said "oh, you can't believe everything you read on the internet, that's been taken care of". The very next day, I thought I had been rear-ended and looked in the mirrors to see who bumped into me only to see nobody behind me. It was the transmission banging inside when coming to a stop. Traded it in on a 2012 Tacoma TRD 4X4 Sport. Still driving the Tacoma to this day. Besides tires, I only replaced 1 battery, 1 muffler, and front brake pads.
There is truth to this. People don't care enough about the cost of the unit and the math. They only care about that monthly payment amount. Could be for for rest of their lives..they don't care..
I think you're being a bit dramatic!!! I have a Bronco. My neighbors have a Bronco. My dad has a Bronco, and they are all fine and doing great. we don't have any issues. we've had nothing but fun in them, so I don't know who's got all the issues. The recalls were dumb silly things. My son's inlaws have a jeep it's in the shop and my brother's Rubicon broke on the trail. It's just a car they have issues. My son has a very expensive Dodge diesel it just went to the shop yesterday. A check engine that everyone guessing what's wrong. He pays a fortune to drive this truck. it's cool but already has problems.
I pre ordered and ordered the very first day it opened. I waited 989 days and finally just got my 4dr Sasquatch Lux Wildtrack and I love it. I was so pissed at Ford but moving from a Hard Rock Rubicon JKU to this was definitely worth the wait.
Been a Toyota guy my whole life and my 21’ bronco 4 cyl turbo was the first ford I’ve ever bought. 30k on it and I’ve had zero issues. It’s smoother, more refined, more powerful and more off road capable than my 4runner trd off-road. I’ve been through the Toyota floor mat issue, transmission issues, engine cracks, and the list goes on. Every manufacturer has its issues. Congrats on creating a channel based on bitterness and whining because you couldn’t find a Bronco.
@@MrBe787 The Tundras now turbo and soon the Tacoma and 4runner will be too. Emission standards require it. Also I’m not denying other brands may be more reliable overall, but they still have their issues and brands like ford have reputations that get exaduated. Farley’s promises are as genuine as Ford’s quality control at this point. Remember how he really “cracked down” on those price gouging dealerships. Real bang up job. Jackass.
in that manufacturer factory of ford bronco, please don't forget to advise the last person who comes out on the closure to turn off the light for ever.
My wifes 2023 Bronco Sport engine threw a rod on the highway a month after she got it. Ford paid for the tow and the new engine of course and gave her a bunch of points. I don't like the vehicle but it's not mine. The signal paddle cancels on a slight turn of the wheel. The vehicle hesitates when you step on the accelerator. You don't have the option to turn off the smart steering which is annoying when you want to exit the highway.
All these problems and they want mark ups and waiting a year for one lol. Honestly the msrp is already way too much for a vehicle like this. That said I’ve gone off roading in deep mud and some Rocky trails in a badlands 4 door with the Sasquatch package and it’s amazing. Even with great off road performance and some cool features it’s still overpriced even without a mark up. Also it should have more quality at that price point.
I am so glad i decided to wait on the bronco. Was going to trade my 2012 ram in for one....yea i think ill just keep my ram thanks. 75k miles only issues so far was a bad 02 sensor and a bit of rust touch up where the gravel roads i live on chewed up the paint.
I was at Chapman Ford in Philly to buy a Mustang and my salesman was bragging about how he just sold a Bronco Raptor for $30k over sticker. Unbelievable!
I worked as a Detailer for a dealership. This is common tongue and why I ultimately enjoyed cleaning vs selling vehicles when given the opportunity. Find a family friend who can reference an honest seller.
@@PaulJersey Good for you. If more people said enough is enough, they would have to drop prices. When a Ford Bronco and a BMW SUV are in the same price range something has to give.
considering the new bronco and their 10 speed auto are fairly new, I'd say this is normal lol. I just placed my order for an outer banks and it will be a year or two wait time, but most likely most of the issues will be addressed by then.
Glad the deal with stealers did not go through. A blessing in disguise. Won't pay any markup for the broncos nor any car. Never did in 20 years. These broncos are overrated in my opinion. No offense to owners. What I mean it could be a good vehicle but it receives more attention than what it deserves because of the supply issues, pandemic, and it's a new platform, and the lack of competition right now. When the toyotas and jeeps come up with something new, and supply chain issues go away then let's see if the stealers can command markups on these broncos. Remember the ZR2s?
I wanted the bare bones 2 door man trans hard top msrp was 31k but when I saw all the bs you had to go through to order one and then the massive dealer markups , forget it. I 'll keep my 95 f150 4x4 good shape rebuilt trans rear end front end all new components and runs great, lifted 4in now every couple months someone ask to buy it.wonder why
Btw, had an obx Sasquatch for a year prior to trading it in for the raptor. Anecdotal, but both have been a pleasure no issues. These issues wouldn’t stop me from buying, being that’s what warrantees are for.
I ordered a bronco. Got my money back and got a tacoma instead. Paid $39k for an off road. For another $10k in aftermarket parts ill have a bad ass rig, and will still be way under cost than most broncos
So I got in one and it felt like the same or maybe even a little less space than my Subaru Impreza wagon. Its ridiculous to spend that much for something that looks beefy until you get in it.
Exactly. All of my vehicles except 1 in the last 36 years have been manuals. That 1 car was totalled by some idiot on the highway, well before any automatic issues could surface. Naturally just a few months before I was to pay it off.
FORD is destroying itself, specifically Jim Farley. I've been a Ford customer for decades, but my 2020 Escape will be my last one. It's doing well as of now but I've had two recalls on it. I wouldn't own a Bronco if they gave one to me free!
Well, this might not be popular on this “shock jock headlines” RUclipsrs channel, we bought our first bronco over a year ago with Sasquatch package and we absolutely love it! No issues with it whatsoever! We love it so much I bought a Bronco Raptor 6 months ago and it is absolutely amazing. Although I am aware that Ford has had some quality control issues, we have had zero issues with either of our Broncos, and we bought them both for MSRP. We are extremely happy! Motor feed has his opinion, everyone’s entitled to one, but I would recommend watching the hundreds of positive videos on the Broncos and Bronco raptors that are absolutely ecstatic about purchasing a bronco! Cheers!
Congrats on finding a dealer that didn’t mark up your Bronco. That’s really rare. Experience differs. Some people have no issues while others have a lot of problems with their Bronco. It’s really hit or miss.
@@MotorFeed Agreed….. just wanted to make people aware, there are many Ford bronco buyers that aren’t having any issues, and do get a good deal on them.
I was really interested in these when they first came out, but after seeing the botched rollout, dealer mark ups, and quality control, I’ve all but lost interest at this point. The alternative is a wrangler, but after seeing the abysmal quality of my brothers JL wrangler I am pretty much at the point where I think money is better spent restoring an older jeep with a proven drive train.
Does this affect your Bronco build? Check your build date with the dates listed in the video.
They ran out of morons who are willing to drop 60k on this thing
Here in pa it isn't that hard to find a bronco at msrp but the ones I'm mainly seeing available are in the 40k to 50k range

Hope it stays that way, let them rot on their lot!
There’s a few by me sitting as well.
Good. Greedy bas*ards.
Takes two to tango. People are idiots for paying the prices and dealers are scumbags for the mark ups.
As long as someone is buying, there is no need to lower the price.
At this point I would say the dealers really do not care. They don't care about the guidance from Ford Corporate or taking customers to the ringers. Don't do business there, there are much better options (Mazda and BMW come to mind)
Notice the main markups are pre-printed from the factory not dealership added.
No markups at all these days. Those days are over. I work for a ford dealership. Only markup is on the Ford Raptor R. Only because we get like 2 a year. Everything else is under sticker.
We live in a world where Chrysler products have less recalls than Ford. 😂
I never in my life thought that would be a fact.
Probably helped by the fact that Chrysler makes what two products now?

A 4Runn is vastly superior. You made the right choice, esp. in the long term......
Either wrangler or 4Runner will be better buy, u can actually get 3-5k discount if going with Jeep that in stock. I reserved ford lighting in 2021 and opted for R1T last year when I saw how much markup the dealer wants on a f150. Guess I will never purchase a ford 😅

What's your opinion on whether the 2023 Lincoln Corsair (based on Ford Escape) would have similar problems?
The escape in the last three years was one of the most unreliable Ford cars that they make
My last experiment in buying a modern Ford was in 2017 baught my wife a 2015 Ford Fusion SE.
We live in an era where the cheaper Ford is not even affordable to most medium incomes householders. Sad.
Just bought a 2023 Bronco, it looks cool I guess that’s enough 😃
Seems like a solid reason to me. Just take it to the Ford shop and tell them to go ahead and fix all the things that were recalled so far. Lol
It's very small and very inconvenient and less than the sum of its parts. And the fact that you think it looks cool and that justifies that money, means you're part of the problem if everybody hated it and thought it was drunk you would think so too. You sound like The Tick Tock internet hype generation carbuyer
It won't look so cool when it dies on you in the middle of a dark Kentucky road inhabited by hillbillies.
I wonder if consumers will line up to buy the next $60,000 hype machine once everyone forgets this whole Bronco situation.
Of course Consumers are complete morons
These problems will be around for a long while and not forgotten.
Social media and the internet have the power, look at what misinformation hype and disinformation can t do to a presidency. Now even with the drumpf family crimes and the fox fake news. They still support him.. even with everything people know about Ford, they still feel compelled to buy them
People are sheep, look how many line up when a new phone comes out.
Sure they will. Some people like problems.
Then Im very worry about my bronco sport big bend. Where can I look to check if my car has some recalls?
Farley said there will be no more dealer markups. So he increased Ford prices.
Farley said quality control is no 1 priority.
Crickets......crickets....waiting for outcome.
Ordered a 2-door Big Bend with the 2.3l/auto on 03/06/2022; it was delivered on 03/06/2023. Paid $5k under invoice.
This vid making me think I should keep my FJ Cruiser. Have been salivating over the new Bronco but some second thoughts.
FJ Cruiser is such a superior vehicle over a Bronco.
Please don’t trade/sell that Toyota for Ford; especially, after watching this vid. That truck will last 3x’s as long as the new Bronco. I wish that I could find an old Bronco and fix it up!
Don’t bother. We get letters all the time about recalls.
I’m in the same situation , 2007 FJ with a 6” Fabtech lift and 35” tires, 124k miles.
The FJ is unique. It's a 4runner, but the unique body style will be desired in the future. $$$
Amazing recall numbers. I recently had work done on my old fj80 Lexus wagon. The tech looked up any recall bulletins and over all the these years, the number is……. 0
We bought one. So many recalls. Stay away from them.
My Bronco is dope as hell
I feel like there should be a version of Forbes to go from dealership to dealership making sure they aren’t ripping people off and holding these dealerships to a standard
i have a comment. my 2022 f150 was delivered on september last year, and i can hear sort of a bolt loose under the steering wheel after a week i was driving it, now can hear it more often, what should i do?
Return the truck
@@WinterRider Heh I was thinking the same thing!
You bought the number one square construction worker truck for all the wrong reasons and pay too much and now you want sympathy?
Cancelled order... I'll just pick one up , slightly used , at a deep discount when a tidal wave of these get repo'd next year . hahaha ✌🏼
Hahaha. Funny but feels accurate.
There is truth to this. People don't care enough about the cost of the unit and the math. They only care about that monthly payment amount. Could be for for rest of their lives..they don't care..
And suddenly people are surprised that they're 20000k upside down in a Bronco
What are you talking about? Ok…30K miles, let’s see you hit 300K with that turbo 4 cyl. Prediction… you won’t even get close.
Jackass.
They are all over the used lots where I live, usually with only a few thousand miles on them, but huge price tags none the less.
in that manufacturer factory of ford bronco, please don't forget to advise the last person who comes out on the closure to turn off the light for ever.
I heard it was in Mexico.
How much do you think it’s worth?
Obviously the buyer paying 30k over sticker is an idiot and has too much money they don't know what to do with
I would have said "Is this how you guys do business?" and walked away.
@@jayt2266 I did walk away.
I'm excited to see if/when a new Toyota 4Runner design finally comes out.

Can’t speak for anyone else, but I feel damn good with my recent bronco raptor acquisition. It’s one of the coolest/fun vehicles I’ve ever owned.
Btw, had an obx Sasquatch for a year prior to trading it in for the raptor. Anecdotal, but both have been a pleasure no issues. These issues wouldn’t stop me from buying, being that’s what warrantees are for.
I think anyone would feel good about that purchase. 😂
My 22 Badlands , SAS, LUX, Leather has been an amazing truck.
I ordered a bronco. Got my money back and got a tacoma instead. Paid $39k for an off road. For another $10k in aftermarket parts ill have a bad ass rig, and will still be way under cost than most broncos

My new bronco has a fuel tank problem
It seems that somebody is trying to destroy FORD...is almost unreal the amount of recalls within the last three years...
FORD is destroying itself, specifically Jim Farley. I've been a Ford customer for decades, but my 2020 Escape will be my last one. It's doing well as of now but I've had two recalls on it. I wouldn't own a Bronco if they gave one to me free!
