- The 2022 Ford Bronco SUCKS without these 12 Jeep Wrangler features. If the 2022 Ford Bronco updates with these Jeep Wrangler things then I think the Ford Bronco could absolutely dominate the Jeep Wrangler in so many ways.

Don’t buy a ford bronco because it doesn’t have a V8 all your “reasons” are stupid.
Steering wheel to get in other than that not bad thoughts gorilla glass really
For Clarification:
Don't buy because it doesn't have a good 'ol Ford 5.0 naturally aspirated V8.
-- Ford claims they are giving US what WE want by offering a $150,000 race truck with a supercharged V8. Give me a break Ford...P-leeez! Ughh!
This v6 puts out more power and torque then all the competitors V8's and weighs less. "if the competitors had V8's."
This guy is an absolute moron!
Maybe he wouldn't complain about stupid crap if he got layed once and a while.. LOL
Yes a small turbo charged , always hot, 4 cylinder motor is perfect in a huge box of a truck.
I’m confused as to why you bought a Bronco - none of those 12 things were unknown … I agree with the rain gutters but otherwise I’ll take the Bronco 10 times out of 10 … thanks for your time. Best to you.
I have a Bronco Big Bend and it's Fantastic!
My biggest complaint is the rain! I open my driver door...and yes water does drip onto the seat 🙄
How about noise on highways for hardtop?
But it’s still a FORD
@@shashankankala8476 only soft top was available for me!
There are already aftermarket soft grab handles. They move out of the way when the side curtain airbag that Jeep doesn’t have saves your head
Good to know!
Decades yet death wobble is still a thing.
Death wobble has NOT been a thing in my 22 JL.
Really have to strongly disagree about a few things in this video. I drove a brand new Rubicon trying to convince myself to buy one of them instead of a bronco. The driving experience was terrible with the solid front axle. Yes it might be great for off roading but this is also my daily driver and I don't want to fight the steering the entire time.
I’m with ya in that. IFS is THE WAY for performance 4x4 and comfort in road. Most of the Baja 1000 rigs have it for a reason.
@@jasongaudreau2075 For more hardcore crawling a solid axle is way better. That's the point I was trying to make really. for everything else for sure IFS.
@@MotorFeed The aftermarket will make the IFS work rock crawling. All round the Bronco is better for daily driving, and you dont look like the rock crawling type.. more like the mall crawling type of guy
@@uberfishyskillz Hahahah. You're hilarious. Judging by your obsession with IFS... you are probably the real Mall Crawler here. Plus, I only crawl to Whole Foods and not the mall.
@@uberfishyskillz Here's me mall crawling in my Raptor. ruclips.net/video/AGkvU2dhvK4/видео.html
The top and door bolts go into the included tool kit.
Yeah it looked to me like he intentionally showed the jack but croped out the storage bin 3 Inches behind it. Why? Oversight or playing to the fan base of jeeps while getting hate views from the bronco crowd. Oldest trick in the book. Smash that like button... bell... subscribe... get a job.
This video makes me think you didn’t do much research on the different trim or customizations. Your part on the trunk completely missed the part about all the customizations for this piece of the vehicle like the slide out tailgate, trunk table etc… also calling an engine cover a reason not to buy is laughable.
My #1 goal in life is to make people laugh. Looks like I finally did it!
Complaints are petty but I'm glad you made this video. I want to know these things before I go test drive one and trade the old beast of a jeep.
Your basic jeep has crank up windows and manual door locks, whereas the basic Bronco has auto windows and power mirrors. Moreover on the Bronco, the power mirrors remain when you take the doors off.
And your "basic" Bronco is just that...BASIC. It's trash. LOL
Cool. So you have more weight and more to go wrong? Where I live, the top and doors of my Wrangler are off 8 months of the year. I don't need extra weight and more electrical shit to go wrong. OK, you have mirrors when the doors are off. I can get across obstacles you can't without mods because my solid axles are stronger. And? Broncos are nice...to look at. They aren't nice to take somewhere where they have to prove their mettle. It's not a competition, it's just a reality - one brand was made for a purpose, and one brand was made for cheating people out of money.
Solid front axle makes the Jeep uncomfortable, unstable on road, need constant correction on the highway, and makes for serious driver fatigue, a lot faster than a rig with IFS.. Solid axles transfer energy of bumps to the frame, causing bumpy trails to make driver scrambled eggs, and increasing wear and tear on a vehicle.. IFS absorbs energy of bumpy roads or trails (better the faster you go), is very stable, on and off road, stays in a lane on the highway without constant correcting, so is safer, so (again lol) reduces overall driver fatigue.. There is a HUGE difference in handling between these 2 lol... The husband's Bronco drives where i want and I never need to make constant corrections to keep it in a lane on the highway, like i did with the Wrangler Rubicon he had for 2 years... He sold it early last year after getting use to and favoring my 4Runner.
Also Ford doesn't need to "keep up" to Jeep's 392 LOL.. Jeep released the 392 in an attempt to "keep up" with the innovation the Ford brought to the table with Bronco's release.. Quite frankly, the desperate use of a V8 in the 392 highlighted how lazy Jeep has been with the Wrangler, having had that segment to themselves for so long.... Ford dominated the off road pickup segment with a full size F150 Raptor with 6 cylinders under the hood.. That is innovation.. Jeep and all Fiat Chrysler products are gone stagnant.. Using a Hemi or Hellcat to answer EVERYTHING.. That is stagnation.. It isn't 1995 anymore lol
The Wrangler is way better than Ford junk...that Ifs is weak af
Agree 100%
Mic dropped
@Lunamaria - I like your sauce! Great feedback and review. I picked up the mic after you dropped it. Get it sis!
See yes you gave a good description of way IFS is better. But I’d much rather have a solid axle on the bronco so it can flex with the like of the Jeep. Not to mention the approach and departure angles are the same with the bronco being on 35s and your average rubicon being on 32s. For someone who uses there Jeep as a daily and a toy I have no problem with the solid front axle. I’m not a soccer mom and don’t need to worry about ride quality of my Jeep on the street because I could care less. I don’t bomb down fire trails in Washington and rip up the desert on organ. What I do requires slow and technical mobility over rocks and I can’t be lifting a tire. Also I would like to add about the 392 part. Jeep released the rubicon recon package with 35s to keep up with the bronco. Jeep has also been dabbling with the idea of a V8 for a long time and the bronco definitely was a big influence. But not as much a influence as the Jeep was on the current bronco, also the past bronco to add to the matter. I think it’s good that Jeep as competitors as it been dominating the off-road market. I would like to get one someday maybe a black diamond edition. But the dealer markup with for should be criminalizing. You know I can buy a pretty loaded rubicon for the price I can buy a base bronco? You can buy a 392 for the same price as a first edition or badlands bronco😂😂. Prices are killing people.
Agree about the brake pull but I haven't really needed to use the emergency brake even in the snow it had awesome traction .... and I love love love the drive of the bronco so therefore I like the IFS. I wish the back row seats reclined more I can deal with the cup holder issue just bought a removable cup holder/ caddy for the middle and that is actually nice .... just prefer more of a recline then it would be perfect as you can go forward or recline back and probably higher vents for back row too. The grab handles are in weird spots but I am fine it is the shorter people that have a problem but even my 9 year old gets in great but he is limber :) I think the number one thing I would change is the recline in the back because on road trips or long day trips the back get too stiff but the driver and passenger are super comfy !!! And I love the 2.3. As for the glass there are already aftermarket products available to get it stronger ... and my warranty covers windshields too.
The lever brake is more for having a bit of fun really!
I have a 2020 Rubicon Diesel. It has the same stupid button to shut off motor. I also have 2021 Bronco with saq. The Bronco ride is far superior and has so much more room in the front. Most people do not take their Jeep out and actually crawl it. I have the V6 and it has plenty of power. One other thing. My Bronco Badlands loaded with Lux Saq was only 58K as the dealer is not supposed to mark up if preordered My Jeep was 65K. The one thing about the Rubicon is with the Diesel it averages about 24MPG on the Highway and the best i can get with Bronco is around 19 in Eco mode on same drive.
Love the rubicon diesel!
They sell a 100$ mod that shuts off the start stop permanently
The Bronco is worlds ahead of the 2015 rubicon that you compare it to. At least the JL is a little better. I’ve owned 6 Rubicons including the new diesel and the bronco outperforms it in almost every way! Find that I haven’t driven the Jeep much since receiving the Ford. Yes mileage is better, but fuel is 43 cents more around here. We never consider taking the Jeep when traveling on the freeway and that’s not the case with the Bronco. It drives very similar to my Raptors. To each his own, but the bronco is better in almost everyway
We had an entire family of Jeep owners converting to Broncos today in the showroom! I have a great selection of used Wranglers!! 2 traded just this Sunday afternoon…
I’ll trade my Wrangler eventually for a Bronco.

Informative video, well done. In Southern California, rain is not an issue, anytime. Leave the top and doors, and all the bolts, at home. All year. I applaud your support for a manual transmission and a real manual, hand brake.
I had a 1972 Ford Bronco with V-8, manual transmission, solid axles and rain gutters. I didn't know at the time how good I had it.
The Jeep doesn't come close to the bronco in literally anything but rock crawling imo (coming from a wrangler owner) can't wait to trade.
I'd say both vehicles have their pros and cons. But give Ford a few years to figure out any issues that come with a first year model. Honestly, aside from maybe the whole rock crawling thing, which no one but the most hardcore off road enthusiasts do, the Bronco is the Jeep's equal off road and far superior on road.
Ya. I'm going to wait a year or so until some of the bugs get worked out. Also hopeful that they come out with a more solid color retro Green as well.
@KFC Man are you speaking from experience?
@KFC Man so you own a Bronco?
@KFC Man that’s nice to read actually. I think Bronco and Wrangler have their own strengths, I actually love both of them but I prefer Bronco :)
@@RLT124 I love my 2022 Bronco, and my daughter absolutely LOVES her Wrangler. We are both fat and saucy in our Mall Crawlers.
So, if you aren't ready to order the gorilla glass yet (well may not be available yet for the bronco), do the ceramic hardening coating on it. I did it on my second Jeep windshield (lasts about 12 months) and so far it has really helped. When this one goes will be doing the gorilla glass.
Which ceramic coating did you get for your windshield? I was thinking of trying something similar.
One more thing about rain gutter. On Rubicon the rain literally comes out at the driver and pass front doors as they end about 3 inches before windshield/.
Never gotten doused with rain in my JL
Really trying to justify buying that used JK I see LoL! Several of these "points" are Jeep fanbois really grasping at straws. Hahaha
LOL. This is my 4th Jeep so I really don't need to justify it at all. I like the Bronco and will eventually buy one.

So I dropped off my F250 at the Ford dealer for a recall this morning. I looked at a white Badlands just like yours. Good looking truck!
Nice job, great details, especially the windshield.
Good point w the rain channels. But owning both, the ifs is sooo much better for daily driving, in my opinion.
Agree on the daily comment. I think the Bronco is a better all-around daily/take it through some back roads vehicle. But if you plan on hitting some tough trails, nothing beats the Jeep.
You saved me a BAD purchase.🎉😘thank you. I’m sticking with my Sahara Jeep
Your channel is so confusing .
One video I love the Bronco Wish I could find one to buy then you get mad at the markup and lack of inventory
Next video what I hate about the bronco and reasons not to buy. SMH
In this video
You Wish bronco had a V8 version. You mean like the Jeep you bought ? And by the way good luck finding a Jeep 392 without dealer markup which you complain about as well on the bronco and on a further note. It took Jeep 40 years to come out with a V8 version from the last version and only after Ford announced the Bronco
The comparison on the front axle, I have a 2019 Jeep JL and a 2022 Ford Bronco. There’s no comparison on the ride, the Ford hands down is a nicer ride as well as less taxing to drive long drives and it’s fully capable for 99% of the people going off road . There is zero chance Ford changes to solid front axle.
FYI go back and watch the TFL video he hasn’t disconnected the front sway bar when going over those bumps
As far as your other complaints they are such personal preferences ie Hand brake , manual Tac, Grab handle locations & Motor cover
Agreed on the decision not having rain gutters on the top is dumb
The Bronco is amazing considering it a new model and will keep improving, but your reasoning for not buying one is a tad weak . Or Maybe just click baiting to generate revenue. JMO
Exactly!
I love that messy engine I can see everything and it stays cool
While some of this is very valid, the Jeep is a trash everyday driver. Any Bronco is wayyyy better than any version of a Jeep. Steering, head thrash, everything. So I cant disagree more on that one, but thanks for the vid
Not sure sure… that 392 Jeep is looking kinda nice!

I totally agree about the rain gutters. It’s annoying for sure
I'm trying to mentally see what it would look like with the gutters. lol. Can't decide if good or bad.

I've never understood why an engine cover is necessary for this type of vehicle. The hood is the engine cover. Plus, however minor, doesn't it just trap more heat?
That mess of hoses and wires looks like the engineers didn't finish the job to me.

I added a strap for grab handle for my wife.Just use longer 8mm bolt. My Lux has airbags on a pillar and above doors. So be careful but i used a race car tow strap from Amazon which i think was $8
Bolts store in the tool bag Ford provides, and the doors/panels have bags to store them at a price. There’s the option to bag the doors and take them with you, but I haven’t seen a video demo yet. The Bronco has side curtain air bags, which is probably why there aren’t grab handles in that location. I’m curious to drive a Bronco and compare it to my Wrangler. ✌🏼😎
I've had my Bronco since Dec. 1st 2021 and I haven't had any of the issues this guy is complaining about. Most active people won't have any issues getting in and out. I've only open the hood to connect my light bar. So much power and speed too. As for rain. It's rain, you're going to get wet either way. Some of the things you'd like to see different are valid and some are not. A tach is a tach whether is a physical tach or an electrical tach, the purpose is to tell you the RPMs and both do that. As for a grab handle that Jeep offers for an additional $80, I agree with you. The Bronco needs a grab handle to help get in and out. The handle on the left side of the steering wheel can help, but not as much as one a little higher up. If you use the existing handle, obviously you have to grab it with your left hand since it's on the left side once you're inside. Still, a handle higher up would be better. I have no experience with the thicker windshield and don't know anybody that has an experience with it. I'm sure it will also get broken or cracked from time to time and I wonder how much different the replacement cost might be. That's something I've been considering. I've been thinking about buying a new Jeep Wrangler or a new Badlands Bronco and have been going through as much information as possible so I appreciate your video with direct comparisons.
2003 f150 with those stupid handles i kept hitting my head on until I took off the drivers side. I don't want a driver grabbing handles instead of driving in a bad situation. like i said, stupid!
@@jimandersen3003 it's stupid to not have those handles and not those floppy cloth ones, but good hard leather or plastic handles.
Why would you want to buy a different vehicle, if another manufacturer makes what you want? Buy a jeep if you want a jeep but if you want something different get a Bronco. Your points are Moot!
With, the V6, Gorilla Glass and rain gutters, you're looking at a $100k+ price tag 😂
my guy opened up the bolt holder in the bed... closed his eyes and said 'nope isnt here hahah. boy open that floor covor a little more... you almost got there
Next video I will review the whole Bronco while wearing a blind fold.
First up, we have a recall issued for certain 2020-2022 Ford Escapes and certain 2021-2022 Ford Bronco Sports. Only versions of these models with the 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder are included in the recall, and the final tally is 345,451 cars between the two models.
These cars are being recalled due to a potential oil leak issue. Ford’s recall documents explain that the engine oil separator housing installed on these vehicles “may crack and develop an oil leak.” If this happens, Ford says the leaking oil could leak onto other engine components, increasing the risk of an engine fire.
The title is obvious clickbait that many creators use to try and generate more views which is okay but when use a title like that you should have at least one or two actual deficiencies and not just a dozen personal preferences to list. Now, most of these preferences are so personal as to be totally meaningless to anyone but the individual. However, there are three presented here that I've heard more than a few reviewers say that the Bronco absolutely does NOT need.
The first is a solid axle. If you want a solid axle off road vehicle and you insist on buying it brand new from the dealer then go buy a Jeep. If Ford made the Bronco solid axle then they'd just be making a Jeep Wrangler. Except for heavy duty pickups the only vehicle sold to the general public that has a solid front axle is the Jeep Wrangler. Even every other Jeep product uses IFS with most using IRS as well. Same with Land Rover and now Mercedes with their G-Wagon. Toyota's 4Runner has always been IFS and the Land Cruiser has been IFS for three generations now. So why is that? Because the vast majority of people buying these vehicles have never, and will never, come close to needing the maximum off road capability that a solid axle vehicle can provide but they will benefit from the improved ride, handling, comfort and long term decrease in fatigue and maintenance issues the typical IFS setup offers. Has solid axle tech improved? Yes. Is it IFS comparable yet? Nope. You are used to it so it doesn't seem noticeable but those who are not can tell quite easily. The other issue is that truly hard core crawlers don't use stock vehicles anyway. The Rubicon won't do anything the Sasquatch Bronco can't do stock for stock. It's advantage lies within it's ability to be more easily upgraded. And both are far more capable than the overwhelming majority of buyers will ever need.
The Bronco does NOT need a V8. Look, I like V8's as much for their simplicity as their sound. But as far as actually getting the job done and doing it well the turbo V6 is great. The 392 Wrangler was cool but irrelevant and won't be made for long. Not saying it wasn't well done but it was more a publicity stunt than a meaningful long term addition to Jeep's lineup. And only the person who can and would actually buy the near triple digit special edition of anything should complain about it not being available. After all, if you can't afford it then it doesn't exist even when it does. And, guess what? So called halo vehicles do not increase sales. It's a car enthusiast myth. The Raptor exists because the F-150 is so successful, not the other way around. And Ford has sold about the same number of trucks on average since it's release as they always have. It's just instead of buying the traditional F-150 roughly 45 to 60 thousand buyers a year buy the Raptor. Is it cool? Sure. But if it didn't exist nothing in the truck landscape would change as far as sales volume and market share is concerned.
The Bronco does NOT need a manual transmission. Manual transmissions were once stronger and more reliable than automatics but like solid axles being more easily upgraded, that's no longer true unless you do upgrade and almost no one will do that. And those who will don't need the factory to supply them. They are fun in a sports car but not at all the best for ultimate performance even though I think absolute numbers aren't the best measure of driving fun. In any event, the take rate on manuals even in sports cars is less than ten percent. In other types of vehicles it's less than five percent. As a manufacturer it's a pointless venture to keep offering something 90% of guys run their mouth about wanting yet only 5 to 10% of those guys actually spend their money on when it comes time to buy. As they say, talk is cheap. Manuals are also the worst thing for anyone other than highly experienced off roaders. And, well, the guys with enough passion and experience to safely and expertly use a manual in a rock crawl situation do not need a manufacturer to offer one from the factory. In fact, they'd break the factory version the first time out any way.
Like yourself I don't like digital dashes or stop/start tech but don't be surprised when it comes to the Wrangler in the very near future.
Do you wish your Bronco has it's engine light on like your Rubicon?
ha. check again. My key was turned to the "acc" position and it was not running. All the lights are on in that mode. Try harder when you troll next time.
Good video. is there big difference between baja mode on and off?
Absolutely. So much more throttle response and shifts are faster. Holds the gears longer as well.
I also think the bronco should have the 4.0 v6 as a option along with manual option
In my jeep gladiator rubicon I most certainly get rain water on me when I open the doors or windows well after rain has stopped. Also have gas my truck for a couple years now and no chips or cracks in windshield yet **knocks on wood.
Wait until folks find out how the relays and wiring start failing in em... It's so bad here last Friday I had a new sign made delivered that we will no longer work on Ford products here. People think because I am top notch shop I can fix these defective F150's on up the line and I can't period. I had the president of local coal company call me because it seems the places that did or would work on them are doing about what I am doing is not working on em. It's not a boycott or a protest it's just the fact a few of em I spent hours and hours on the phone with Ford and Ford dealers with no luck at affecting any repairs that remotely even worked.
I find the handle next to the steering wheel helps maintain driver stability and position without over gripping the steering wheel.
I agree the rip it pull Parking Break Handle is necessary for all vehicles. The Mach E is already rolling down Driveways with electronic Actuated Push Button Parking Break. Seeing a lot of hate in the comments below. Both the Jeep JL and new Bronco have their advantages and disadvantages. The FIS on the bronco is nice for freeway driving but you will always have more capability off road with a solid front axel on the JL. Yes requires more input from the driver but if you are really bothered by it, install a Falcon adjustable steering stabilizer and it will improve the drive quality immensely. Took me 20 min to install on my JL and no driver fatigue on long trips.
His replies to those comments are so telling. Can't take criticism is such a turn off
I’ll admit you have some good points about the front windshield and the roof rain wells. But, you come off as extremely biased and inauthentic when you only film reasons to not buy a Bronco. I don’t see any videos on your channel about reasons not to buy a Jeep or other vehicles. Maybe stop creating click-bait videos and provide genuine content
Haha. You're hilarious. Maybe you should realize I only just now hit 10k subs and started taking YT seriously. Give it time and more content will come. there are plenty of reasons to also not buy a Jeep, and reasons to buy a Bronco as well. Also, 135,000 views and a like ratio of 90% on my recent Bronco video seems like genuine content to me.
@@MotorFeed glad to hear more content is coming and congrats on the success of your videos! Hoping to see some diverse content in your next postings and not just more Bronco click-bait
@@Nicolasgene0617 Oh trust me.. I really tried to write some "non-clickbait" titles but YT did not push them. The second I used what you consider "clickbait" titles, my views skyrocketed. So, blame all the users on here and RUclips. Not me. What I have observed (so far) is that once you build a huge following, you can use more straightforward (boring) titles. But small creators have to do something to break through all the noise. It's a double edged sword.
@@MotorFeed I mean if you’re going to get in in arms about people calling this video out maybe you should do better than having 90% of your “reasons not to buy” be cosmetic preferences. Wow you are a GENIUS! Why didn't I think of that?
Honestly if i wasnt a giant id be happy with a wrangler, but as it is, at 6’4” the wrangler (4door) feels way to small inside for me. Then i can upgrade things here and there(haha shoot there was even a bronco outfitted with a solid axle)

Engine cover? It has a hood, who cares.
The window issue with the bronco isn't affecting all Broncos that point is null and void
A place to put all the door/top pieces!? They give you a tool kit like jeep to put them in.
Rain gutters... Got me I hate my soft top bronco cuz of it.
You can't put a handle on top bronco has curtain airbags (jeep doesn't) so the dash makes sense.
Finally, we know bronco raptor is a 3.0 the only hope for a v8 would be ford doing what they did with the f150 raptor, releasing a type r later down the road.
does the Bronco have the push button sway bar disconnect and axel locks like a Rubi?
It does if you buy the higher trim level.
gorilla glass is a farce. I cracked easier than my stock windshield. 2020 Gladiator 3rd windshield.
The problem is the power. The Jeep was never meant to go as fast as it does with that flat windshield.
Hate people that do videos and do 0 research. Bronco comes with a bag with tools you need and in the bag it has pouches for your hardware so you don't miss place it. And you can't put wrap around handle up top due to airbags. Handles aren't loose they have spring like feature built into them. And on the road the Jeep Solid axels ride can't even be compared to the Bronco.
LOL. I don't want a bag to put them in. I like the organized tray thingy.
@@MotorFeed so you like that Ford gives you all the tools you need to do doors and top? In a nice neat special bag? Then when you need tools the bolts are right there is same bag. And they don't rattle and or bounce around like in Jeep tray....hmmm
@@scottalbanese295 Jeep also has a tool bag. Hmmmmm.
Do you have to disable the start/stop each time you fire it up? It's not a one and done?
Yes you do. It's VERY annoying.
The check engine light on the Jeep sums it up nicely.
Ha. My key was only turned on “acc” accessory mode. All the light come on for that.
If you want to make it out and back home, buy a LAND CRUISER.
Some good points I never considered before
Bro, I’m with you on the V-6 having a manual that’s the only thing holding me back from buying it because I don’t want a four-cylinder but I do want a manual
Go with the JEEP and get a real off-road vehicle. Even a Sport is better than the Bronco.
@@michaelhulsey201 Man, I will never buy another jeep in my life, brother they’re in electrical nightmare I sold my jeep for that reason I had all the fuse box and harness replaced on my jeep. Then I sold it. luckily, I had it under warranty still but the ECU was replaced after a few months of owning my jeep then I had some kind of electrical headlight issues then AC problems and this jeep was purchased new .
@@Caprice1977 I won't deny that Chrysler/Stellantis/Whatever they're calling the company this week has some lackluster QC. And I'm sure Ford will improve on things too. I'm just saying that right now, this 1st Gen Bronco, at least to me, isn't what a serious offroad vehicle should be. I get that most probably aren't buying it for that reason, but it still lacks in the areas Jeep excels. It doesn't even borrow from Ford's previous history with offroading. It's baffling to me. But it does look nice.
It is an insult to the Bronco name, small under powered (no V8), it is the same as the 4 cylinder Mustang, Ford loves to insult their iconic names
Good video. I recently purchased the Bronco Base V6. I really love the vehicle but I do like your points and took notes on things I can do to the Bronco along the way. Hopefully they will make better aftermarket hardtops eventually and offer a gorilla glass option. I plan on modifying my Bronco along the way
Congrats on the Bronco. The base is a great place to start!
Just from a mechanics standpoint I’m actually a fan of that cover not being there. Most people don’t work on their own stuff and don’t open the hood anyway so doing away with a cover that is basically pointless I think was a good call. Saves Ford money saves me time and to me it’s a bit like the old man who who as aged past his filter. Yeah it’s not particularly nice but you know your not being bullshited
My damn 2021 wrangler let's water in as soon as you open the door. The gutters leak right into the foot well. SMH you have to buy deflectors to let it run down the windscreen.
Grab handle at the top? there is an air bag up there. Jeep doesn't have that. That's why its not there on the Bronco, if it deployed it would tear your arm off.
Nobody said people would be crashing while holding onto it. Lol.
FOrd had more HP then jeeps V8. Size does not always matter.
the lack of rain gutters is kinda killing me
I hate 2 things at Bronco: 1 disorganized under hood pipes and cables,
2 Transmission. Once those 2 things are solve bronco shall keep thumb up towards Jeep wrangler.
I actually wanted a rubicon, but when I test drove it the first thing noticed was how badly it drove down the street, this is before the bronco was even out, you saying that ppl won't notice is baffling to me. When I got to test drive the bronco it was the first thing I was curious about, let's face it a solid axle is great, however it's a daily driver and it'll spend most it's time on the pavement.
What is the point of the manual rpm gauge the digital works fine. How often do you actually use your rpm gauge when driving. Even in a manual anyone with experience shifts by sound unless racing on the track. Bronco is an off-road vehicles not a sports car.
I'm obviously racing the Bronco everywhere!
Man, you split hairs, the windshield? We all have to replace windshields
why do you need a bolt holder when the bronco top doesnt use bolts
Wow, an excellent review and comparison between the Jeep Wrangler vs the Ford Bronco. I learned a lot and appreciated my 1993 YJ and 1997 TJ a little bit more. Carry On Sir!
For anyone not familiar with technical aspects, STOCK (unmodified) the Bronco is a much better mom car and grocery getter as it’s much more comfort oriented.
Jeeps will be significantly better stock for off-roading but not as much a daily driver… that being said if you’re buying for comfort you’re buying the wrong cars outright
The price, for a decent one 50,000
The engine options suck
That’s as far as I got before deciding it wasn’t worth it.
If I could buy a decent 4 door with a 5.0 for 35,000ish it would be in my driveway.
4 door Unlimiteds are overrated, same with Broncos but that's just me. I do prefer the original 2 door. Now for 4 doors I definitely don't mind the Gladiator truck. Now I wish they made a Bronco version of that lol.
Just bought a ‘24 bronco and it broke down at 20 miles. It had 8 miles on it when I got it and I drove it a whole 12. It’s a cheap novelty imo.
I guess you having seen the 2023 Bronco Raptor! 3 litre twin turbo 400 hp with 37 inch tire,
a real bronco would have a v8.
The hood covers the engine. How long did you dig for this video.
Not as much time as you spent thinking about all those comments you made.
Stickerfab has a fix for having to turn off auto stop and it only takes 5 minutes to install
How much they bay you?
Pretty sure your door was ajar haha
I've had two Broncos for nearly two years since my first purchase and never once experienced that window issue.
I don’t think rain gutter helps to stop heavy water fall also. Or it’s not really big faults to not have one. Wrangler not even safe in the rainy road. But at least bronco can control better than that.
3 more big things A ford bronco needs ... more cup holders!! Air conditioners in the back . Buttons for the garage opener
At least 100 cup holders and 1 extra for my Big Gulp.
handles for the driver? not only did I take it off my truck from hitting my head entering the vehicle, I want the driver holding on to the steering wheel!
Saying Jeep has perfected the solid axle is ridiculous. I rented one a couple years ago and it had horrendous death wobble whenever I touched the brakes on the highway. It only had 9000 miles on it.
Someone must have damaged the rental before you got it. Which happens a lot. "Death wobble" only occurs when people lift them with crap parts and don't align it properly. Also, shaking under braking is NOT death wobble. It probably had warped rotors. Rentals cars are abused.
I ordered a Maverick that never showed up. They didn't tell me I had to put $500.00 down to lock it in as mine. I ordered it last August. The dealer I ordered it from said it hadn't been made yet. I took the same paper work to another dealership and presented that paper work to see what they could find out and they said they couldn't find out anything because there was no purchase code or anything in the system that says I ordered one. Sooo I said OK, Id like to order one thru you guys. They said Fords not taking orders at this time.. What a bunch of assholes!
One thing about the Bronco engine, that mess does explain all the problems they're having with it. 50 grand for a Ford Escape? No thanks.
Can’t take this serious from a guy with a non modded jeep lmfso
lol. I literally just bought the Jeep. I'll put some sticker mods on it for you so I can get the internet commenter respect.
