There is a adjustment at the bottom of the door jamb to fix that window rattle. There is a RUclips video out on how to adjust it . The window wobble is because of the window not coming down fast enough to clear the weatherstripping, just slow down a tad when opening the door to allow for that window to clear the weatherstripping and it will not wobble as much. Ford is working on a fix so hopefully that will come soon.
My passenger side does this. I work at a ford dealership. Should I have them look at it? Or should I try the fix it yourself first? I don’t want to void a warranty by doing something wrong…
@@jayesbeautifulchaos2244 l would have Ford look at it first. Roll your window half way down and go for a ride and if it rattles when going over a rough road it needs to be adjusted. It should be covered under your warranty .
this is interesting because i almost have the opposite problem; when i roll my window down (and back up), especially in the mornings, it squeals like crazy because it’s pressing too hard on the weatherstripping inside the door somewhere. not sure if it’s inside or outside yet, but i want to get them tinted and so i need to fix that first. thanks for sharing that.
What ford has done? bronco is 45% foreign made. The remainder is US/CANADA (foreign). ford is not doing it. ford is relying more and more on foreign countries and workers in order to stay in business. Don't get ripped off.
I've had my Bronco for about 6 months also! TOTALLY agreed on the window rattle/stability. I understand why it's constructed that way; Jeep doors are impossibly heavy and hard to get off by yourself, also hard to store because of the bulkiness, so it's nice to have a compact/not so heavy door when playing. For me, my biggest two are: lack of overhead lighting/lighting around the gear shift. The lights above the rearview mirror essentially do nothing, and the car is too pricey not to have lighting around the gearshift in my opinion. Seems small--but even my base level cars before this had those features. Over all, I LOVE my Bronco, and hope to have it for a very long time. Such a cool car, and very easy to get over the dislikes with so many wonderful features (:
Totally agree with you. Window rattle is unsettling and I worry about long term wear and tear. I actually love the design of the rear bumper, but it's lame that it's plastic. Over heading lighting is terrible. The other two for me are the lack of cup holders in the rear seats unless you opted for leather and no upper air vents in the back. I love my bronco, but I've spent some time trying to improve the passenger experience. The other thing is storage. But I'm less bothered there since I have lots of options to upgrade it.
I think the sound system is awesome! I can have the top off , have the sound all the way up and going down I-75 around 80mph and I can still hear the radio!
I have a 21 Outer Banks Sasquatch with the 2.7, 22,000 miles. It's been flawless, the best vehicle I've ever owned. I have the B&O sound system and while I agree it's not top notch, I'm OK with it. I'm fine with the windows and bumper and don't have door alignment issues. I also don't have the sealant issues when removing the front roof panels.
Will they last over 200k miles? I doubt it. Turbos on a small 2.7 in a heavy vehicle is ridiculous. I wouldn't even buy the new V6 turbo that's in the new Tundras.
@@crawdaddct My fathers 2011 Expedition has almost 385k miles. He uses it for work and to travel. Same engine and transmission. Just routine maintenance and basic parts were changed. I don't see these Broncos lasting that long, especially with those garbage 10 speed transmissions.
I have a Black Diamond - I 100% agree with 2 & 3. The radio bugged me at first because I had an amazing sound system in my Xterra, but i've kind of gotten used to it at this point.
Great video, I always hope Ford sees consumers like us. First, I love my 2021 Outer Banks, it is 10x the vehicle my jeep was from handling, daily driver ride stability, interior options, retro looks. Agree, windows are very annoying & cheap. Dropping my hand behind the handle for a moment like a Mustang or slowing down as my dealer recommended didn't help the poor design. It makes the vehicle seem cheap when everyone gets in. I tell everyone it's my Wile E Coyote window system specially added from Ford. What the engineers need to do is walk down the hallway and talk to the Mustang design team. I have owned 5 from 2008 Shelby to my 2015 50th, drop beautifully and cleanly. My 2015 drops as soon as it senses my hand behind the handle, 2008 you have to operate the handle still works perfectly to this day. I would have thought this would have been fixed by 2022. I also hate the stereo in mine, my 2014 JK had a surprisingly kick butt stereo and sub from the factory. However, being a Ford for life girl, the crappy stereo systems are norm in their vehicles except my '02 Lincoln LS. I've reached out to Ford with owner feedback and they seem receptive. More of us should reach out in whatever way we can.
I have my Bronco for almost a year now, I fixed most to the problem myself like the hardtops popping noise, for the door mirror delay, you just need to handle it more gently, dealers can’t do nothing about it!
What was your popping noise? Was it from the front or the back? I'm thinking I'm getting almost a cracking type noise in the rear when I hit a big enough bump
Mine located on the front panel above the passenger side, it raddled and sounded like popping corn. But I did fix it, honestly it depends on case by case. For the mirror delay, luckily for me it only happens on the passenger side for both doors. But I kinda have the idea why they bang like that: it’s the seal bar between the roof and mirrors, on the passenger side it’s lower than the driver side, I think I can fix it by raising the bar higher, but it can a painful process 😅😅😅
Nice job. I have similar gripes with mine. It's also an Outer Banks. Overall, I love it, but I do believe some things weren't completely thought out. I'd also mention the lack of places to keep things up front. Some cars have little compartments, the Bronco could have made better use of the space. Reaching into the console behind your elbow, or stretching to the other side for the distant glove box isn't exactly ideal while driving. Obviously, not a deal breaker, but it can be a minor inconvenience. I do agree with all your points. It is fun to drive though! Take care man.
I definitely share some of the same dislikes about the vehicle. I happened to sell my Bronco today, and while looking over it before the pick up, I was reminded of the door alignment issue. WIndow rattle is terrible and it did keep me from cracking open my window, because the first couple of times it happened, I thought the something inside was seriously loose. I've never had the gooey seal issue with the top though. Just like you mentioned, at the end of the day, Bronco is definitely fun to drive and an overall a good experience. I wouldn't trade it for any other vehicle that I could afford..... i just happen to be waiting on my Heritage Edition to be built!. Good luck and I look forward to seeing more about your build.
Glad I’m not the only one who noticed the window rattling while driving with the windows partially open! Not a deal breaker but I haven’t seen many people talk about it! I just roll them all the way down now or only crack them on smooth roads.
It's so bad that I won't drive down the highway unless the windows are all the way down or all the way up. And when you close the doors it sounds like the windows are going to fall off. My husband has frameless on his mustang and they don't rattle.
Only issue I’ve had is occasionally when you open the rear doors the windows don’t close in the frame You can lower and raise it and keep the window button pressed up for 30 seconds and it resets I have a base model with 35s and leather Love it
I'll tell you if you make that window tighter then take the vehicle off-road you will bust the window when you hit some serious rough patches. I'd recommend upgrading your suspension.
My biggest problem is the windows go down slightly when you open the door. This poses a problem when it snows and your windows freeze and it can't go down that half inch... waiting for a window to break
You could make a rain gutter for it. There has to be after market support for the bumper. I personally own a Jeep WJ Grand Cherokee. I’ve done a lot of work to it. I constantly have people ask me how or where they can get some of the gadgets I have on it. I tell them I make them work, which I do. There is plenty of support for the Wranglers, they are practically made so people can modify them. With the early Cherokee’s we are adding and doing things to them that were never meant to be done. Lift kits, big tires, steel bumpers with winches, roof racks with lights and accessories. That kind of stuff… That’s part of the fun with them though. There’s always a work around. Nice Bronco. Thanks for sharing
Honestly, your concerns are valid. If you are spending your money on a vehicle they should put more work into making it better. Vehicles aren’t cheap. You are aloud to voice your concerns with something you paid money for. We would never find out the issues with vehicles we order if it weren’t for videos like this. I’m in the market to order a ‘23. This was helpful to voice my concerns. Thank you 🤘🏻✌🏻 The only issue I find with this video is you mentioned listen to Joe Rogan on podcast. 😹
I went from the bronco sport to a 2024 Ford Bronco and I love it. I'm fine with the stereo and I'm a huge music person....mainly metal. I do agree with the driver's window. I HATE that rattle. At times, when I go over train track crossings, it sounds like the window is going to rattle out to pieces. It's pretty bad. Like you said, l need to keep it closed, half down, or just about an inch down.
I am considering purchasing a Ford Bronco, so thanks for making this video. The small issues highlighted here remind me of the struggles I have heard some mention about the Badlands model. I currently own a 2018 VW Tiguan with 140k+ miles on it (and its only issue has been a parking brake switch that broke!), and I never had a "fun" vehicle - but I've loved Broncos for a long time. I will keep researching the Bronco, because I really want one for taking mountain bikes, camping gear into the mountains.
All vehicles have their quirks, nothing is perfect but this is a GREAT vehicle. It’s been dead nuts reliable and has been able to get me ANYWHERE I want to go with confidence. Snow, dirt, mud, etc. it does it with comfort and style. Throw a hitch mount bike rack and you’re set!
Interesting, as a soft top owner I don't have the goo issue. The window rattle is real for me, big issue. My other issue is the plastic cover under the windshield wipers pops up and doesn't stay clipped into place. I feel as if the plastic is bowed out some. Lots of little issues here and there for sure with Ford quality. End product overall though is amazing and I love wheeling my Bronco!
The only issue I’ve noticed so far is that my rear bumper is about an inch out of level. Nothing that can’t be fixed but falls in line with some of the things you mentioned.
Got an order for a 2-door 2023 Badlands w/Sas and Lux. Appreciate your heads up about issues you've noted. Currently drive a 2-door 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, which I like, but Broncos offer features I like more. Though the audio issue is somewhat more concerning. I enjoy my tunes when on the road. Only other 2-door Bronco detractor is its backseat being near unremovable. Jeep backseat slips out or in with just a click.
@@FlashbackFern Appreciate your heads up. Have heard audio system complaints from other Bronco owners, too. However, one Bronco owner advised the sound system could be adjusted to sound okay. Will see.
Hummm, I have the Wildtrak and it also has the plastic rear bumper. No where in accessories did they offer a metal rear bumper as far as I know. As for the sound system, yeah it lacks bass, but most new cars and trucks sound systems suck anyway and if you pay for the factory upgrade your paying about twice as much as an aftermarket system that you can customize. The top must be unique for you cause mine doesn't do that at all. Drip rail is hit and miss anyway, we live in California where it hardly rains (except this year) so rain or moisture is not really anything to worry about!!
Coming from an obx, to B raptor………first thing I noticed is the lack of window jiggle. It’s night and day. And that is true of the fit and finish over all.
I have a tesla long range model 3. I think it has one of the best stock stereos I've ever heard. I test drove a bronco with the B&O radio, I thought it was nearly just as good, maybe not as loud. Sure I've heard better after market setups. But personally, I thought the B&O was pretty good. I'm sure with all the doors off and the top off it'll lose some of its loudness... But I couldn't complain.
See my comment from today. He has a cubby pocket on the right side where I have a sub and a speaker grille. I think he has his sub deleted, which may explain the lack of depth he talks about. I heard my B&O system a couple weeks back when my daughter was driving it and could feel the bass from about 30 ft away and the people I was standing with commented about how good it sounded. Crazy how varies the opinions are.
Not so fast. My bought new 2020 Jeep Wrangler Sport with the hardtop rattled like crazy. I was able to pinpoint the rear glass causing it. I had to smear silicon grease on the rubber seal to stop the sound. Then both the passenger and driver side sun visors simple snapped off while driving and were swinging loose in front of our faces. It’s a known issue with most of the new Jeeps. There’s even a company that makes a metal piece that bolts over the top of the mount because the Jeep won’t fix it. Then the engine rattled at low throttle horribly. I ended up selling it before it was too late.
I fit doors at a an American automobile manufacturer. Not sure what's going on with the windows in your bronco (I don't work at the bronco plant), but I looks like your door latch is coming off the striker really hard. It shouldnt "clunk" off like that. Id say that door needs refitted. About your front door sticking out slightly proud of the rear door. That's most likely for water dispersement. We purposely do that on our vehicles. That said, I don't make broncos, so I may be wrong.
They should have just made it have a fixed roof and non-removable doors. That’s why the windows rattle and it is why the sound system sucks (speaker placement). It’s why there is no rain gutter. All that just to take the doors off, which most people won’t do.
I'm with you on the audio and window issues. Swapped speakers but need more bass as you said. I have a Badlands, soft top. Looking forward to the exhaust video. I went with Corsa for mine!
@@jjhernandez5244 it is actually steel on the lower 85% and the top piece is hard MIC plastic but the color matches the rest of bumper, flares, black parts perfectly and really looks like 1 unit
Sadly when you get to be an old system to subwoofer amplifier and the amplifier for the system is in the right rear quarter panel. All it takes is one rainstorm with the top off and the amplifier is done. Another poor freaking design from Ford
Agreed. The front windows a quarter of the way down is down right scary. And the speakers are horrible. I upgraded all of them to Kenwoods and installed a Rockville 12 inch sub and Rockville 1200 watt amp. World of difference and it was a perfect set up with the top off. Love your rig!!
I’ve owned 3 Jeeps. I currently have a JK. I think Ford engineers did a good job on the Bronco. I’m sure Jeep engineers will copy a few things Bronco has that Jeep doesn’t. We all know there is no such thing as a perfect vehicle. I’m not knocking Ford, it’s just a reality that Ford has some serious quality control issues that’s costing them billions of dollars fixing warranty issues. As far as off road performance and ability goes, I don’t see a significant difference between Wranglers and Bronco’s. If I was buying a new Jeep or Bronco I buy the one that gave me the best deal.
I think that window issues would really bug me especially the rain running off the roof and coming inside if you have the window open when you make a turn.
Bro. I have told about a thousand people about the window rattle. Makes the thing feel cheap. I wouldnt care at all if it wasn't the first thing I experience when getting in or out. But why has no one mentioned the fact that this thing only has 2 cup holders?! My wifes Honda has 184 cup holders just in case. Maybe everyone else that owns one doesn't have kids so it's not a big deal. But put 3 kids in the back with a McDowell's happy meal and tell them to jam the cup in the door cargo net so it squeezes the top off. Mistake! Get me more cup holders! PS. The sound system blows like the wind. Reminds me of my '95 Wrangler with only 2- 4" factory speakers. Thanks Ford for perpetuating all the love/hate things in my life.
It’s definitely a lot better than the non-upgraded one, contrary to what he says…….but it’s still not great, compared to other premium sound systems. Of course, limitations on speaker placement is part of the problem.
I love the sound system mine has! I have a Black Diamond and a Jeep Willys and the Bronco’s sound system is wayyyyy better than the jeep. It doesn’t even compare.
The difference is the 4.7 axle ratio on the wild track you really only need sway bar disconnect if you don’t have enough ground clearance which wildtrak suspension comes with - added 1.5 inches of lift or buy quick disconnects easy
I only buy American cars and I have 2023 Bronco Badlands and i must agree w/ you 100% that the sound system quality is not what I am used to w/ Lincoln SUVs and even Ford Flex SEL. We will see what happens to my Bronco down the road since I've had it for less than a month ,,, thank you for the heads up!
Window rattling can be fixed. Interior lighting does suck. I don’t sit in the back seats so don’t care about cup holders. My main gripe is that you have to put it in low to turn off stability control. I didn’t buy my bronco to drive around and look cool. I bought it to use it off road and it does a very very good job at that right out of the box.
I ordered a Bronco in 21 (Outer Banks) and still don't have it! I was pushed to 23 a few months ago, how it comes through. Question - how is the road noise with a hard top? It will be my daily driver and I make a lot of handsfree calls while driving. Will that be an issue in your experience?
The best stock sound system I've ever had in this genre off SUV was in my 2011 FJ Cruiser that had their premium JBL system. That thing shook the Earth! God I miss rocking Tool in that monster. As for the window rattle, I think this just a general issue with frameless windows. My 370Z had frameless windows and I had the same cringe moments so it was always either all the way down or not.
Funny thing about the "black glue," is I encountered this on a soft-top. Only it wasn't at that location... it was down on side panels behind the front wheels. I assumed it was tire-shine that flung up. But after seeing your video, it was definitely the same thing as what you're pointing out. It was a rental Bronco, so I can't experiment more to figure out how it happened. But it was definitely the same thing you are talking about.
My seat belts don’t retract, also I keep hitting the door lock when I get out, it’s in a stupid place. And locks doors. Drives really nice. Also what I don’t like is the gas gauge, if the west sun is coming in your window, you can’t read the gauge, looks like your empty..only have 3,000 miles on mine, just took 3 people to airport, was shocked 3 check in size bgs, fit in the back perfect. Was proud of my little bronco.. also, was blown away when I had my brights on, and they dimmed by themselves when a car was coming.
Love my bronco but I have some small issues as well. I’ve only had it for the winter so far so I haven’t been cracking my windows just yet. A few things that have been bothering me… the rain streaming down into the car from the roof feels like a waterfall. The seat warmers get so hot so fast you can only leave it on for about 30 seconds before it’s uncomfortable. And the step getting in and out is placed in an odd position and makes it a bit awkward.
Dude I thought it was crazy they were so expensive but my gf got me this one and it’s true. The best hat ever. You just wash it and it’s clean - no more sweat rings. I wear it paddle boarding and just dunk it to stay cool
I have a '21 Badlands with the MIC hardtop. I've never seen anything like that gooey black stuff. Bestop offers a 2-row soft top that mates to the hard top clamshell. I got that, and now no longer need to leave the middle panel somewhere if I want to go topless. Recommended.
Try dynamat Or similar product on the exterior door skin inside the door underneath the door panels everywhere you have a speaker you will be amazed by what dynamat does for a stock sound system and when you upgrade to a better speaker they will sound even better yet i saw a test display set up with some oem speakers with sound insulation And with out it sounds better than most of the basic upgraded speakers without it. Will reduce road noise too you can get a roll of Killmat for $70 (Just as good as dynamat)
DO NOT BUY. Mine has an electrical issue the dealer and Ford have not been able to correct, or issue a recall on. The daytime running lights, interior lights, do not shut off when the car has been shut off. Twice I had to disconnect the battery to correct the problem. The other times it meant starting and stopping the engine a few times and re-locking the doors until the computer knew to shut the lights off.
That actually could be a battery the ecu sometimes will do that shit weird sometimes on Nissan models when the alternator goes out the dash cluster goes everywhere lol lights as well
The window rattle annoys the hell out of me (on both front doors) as well but even more annoying thing to me is the Sun Visor. You can not see stop lights and covers to much of the windshield. My friend found a solution, tinted 4 inches on top the windshield. That is my next plan. Thanks for the video.
The doors aren't great. The shifter also feels cheap. Mainly noticed how cheap it felt once I drove my brother in law's manual Bronco which has a much nicer shifting knob. Love the touch screen, but my Apple Carplay freezes often when I get phone calls and drops the blue tooth.
My 95 bronco has less issues than this thing and it's definitely been used. These quality control issues are bad! It makes me feel so good owning a older truck.
If you've ever satid one and touched the components and fell one of those doors open and close you would realize how desperate these people are to justify such a tiny vehicle if so underwhelming but they have to justify the money that they spent. Is very sad, it's like putting your kids to an Ivy League College they can't do simple math. This thing is just less than the sum of his Parts. Anjeanette hype made this vehicle possible and now people are embarrassed that they pay 60 to $100,000 for this thing with so many other cars on the road, and a very small fraction of these will ever see dirt. Just go to the dealership and try to get in and out of the thing front or rear seats and then just take a look to the left that'll look to the right and ask yourself is this something I could use everyday, Eddie answer would be no if you're honest
@@juliannebaddock2679 sorry loser but I have more land and vehicles than you and your family combined, the difference is I'm a 25-year Ford technician and I know a little something from working on cars my whole life, and I know when the internet hype job when I see it as the customers keep coming through the drive and complaining about the uselessness and the recalls of their Bronco
I saw another video showing this. There is a button to hit on your remote before you open the door that cracks the window to eliminate that glass rattle you're showing.
Love your Bronco! I have a Big Bend in Oxford white, love it! I upgraded the tires and installed leather. I have the same issue with the window rattle while driving and when opening the doors except the rear passenger door is the only one that the window doesn't drop down correctly and gets stuck all the time. The others seem to be fine. I always feel like it's going to break my window when I open the door.
Sound system was brutal. I added a JL subwoofer and amp to mine. Sounds great now. I have the soft top and it bugs me a little that my back windows have a wave in them.
As a huge music person I agree on the music. I hate that there are barely any interior lights. My kid has to open his door at night in order to see his seatbelt buckle. It’s the little things they missed the mark on.
I really wanted to buy one in 2022 until I drove it. At regular road speed the ride was so uncomfortable and there was so much road noise that I knew I couldn't live with it as my main vehicle and wasn't looking for a secondary vehicle. I get what they did with the doors so they can fit inside the back of the 4 door version but since there's no proper seal for the doors to slide into it really causes a lot of wind noise.
Disagree with your comments on the sound system. I am an audiofile with Sonus Faber 30k speakers. Most important the sound is crisp and clean. If all that matters is base ok. Challenging to work with a truck with hard material interior. I say well done B&O and we’ll done Ford!
I am not into white cars, but the Bronco in white is fantastic. Now that you’ve driven it six months, do you have a sense of how long you want to keep it for?
I wasn’t either for a long time. I’ve now seen the light lol. Yeah I fully intend to keep it until the next gen or something better comes along. Nothing really had my eye up until this Bronco. We’ll see! The gen3 F150 raptor looks good too, but I’d keep the Bronco and add the F150
I have a 22 Ford Expedition Timberline and the driver door has the gap too. I haven’t had time to take it back to the dealership but will be taking it soon.
the window rattle and the rain dripping in are easily my 2 biggest complaints with my 4-door Black Diamond. Other than that, i am loving my Bronco. I agree with you though that there is always going to be something to nit-pick about. Good video👍👍
Appreciate the video, I'm thinking of buying a Bronco myself, I wonder if some of these issues were addressed and changed by this time, like you, my music has to be Pumpin'. Thinking of getting Wildtrak with Sasquatch package, if its not already standard on the Wildtrak
Buy the Bronco. Just got my 2023 and love it. 4 door, Outer Banks, sasquatch, hardtop with mid and high package. Has accessory switches. $52,700 plus tax and tags.
My driver door sits just like your passenger door and it bothers the he'll out of me at night when the puddle lights shine down you can really see the fitment sucks. Was thinking same as you I can adjust myself but haven't gotten around to it yet. If you find a solution for it a video would be greatly appreciated. Good luck with it
There is a TSB on the driver door, whoever builds the driver door needs to be fired at the plant. When I picked mine up I had the dealer take it completely apart and there were literally nuts loose
the trunk should be more spacious everything else you mentioned agree. cheap material but it is not specifically this vehicle all new ones are the same
I bought the Ford Bronco Sport First Edition and love it. I really love the size of the large Bronco especially for our 2 German shepherds but after watching this....I think I'll keep the sport. It's awesome, cheaper, really great and a little better on gas. There are some minor issues with the sport too, that I hate, that everyone owning one has noticed. I hate the frameless windows and I won't be taking the doors off so I guess I'll stick with the sport.
@@purpytwinzo4290 no issues except the terrible noise it makes when you brake in reverse. like metal against metal. not a bright sound....a deep sound. that's a thing. it's stupid, but it's how they are. not acceptable. what about you?
@@RotterStudios yea the brakes can get a bit noisy sometimes. pushing 19k miles and i haven’t experienced any major issues but recently i noticed the acceleration can be a bit rattly. i’m thinking it’s an issue with the fuel injector or the spark plug. or both. gonna find out from the mechanic
The only thing I'm really unhappy with is the parking brake. Where it's positioned it should mimic a foot brake where you pull off push on, but it's the opposite. It's something that messes me up for a second whenever I go from my f150 to the bronco.
I bought a new 1984 Jeep cj 7. Still own it and love it. I think the expectations everyone under 40 has is just a bit unbelievable. I also own a 1966 nova ss. Trust me when I say that if you look at anything close enough you’ll find things wrong. Especially according to the RUclips video where the guy critiques the 250k super car.
Love your Bronco, I have a Big Bend 4 door that I got back in July and I'm very happy with it, however my biggest complaint would have to be where they decided to put the window switches at-I'm constantly reaching toward the inside of my door to roll the window down and then realize that the switches are on the center console-I understand they did it so that the doors could be taken off but I'm going on six months now and still haven't trained myself on where it's at
i’ve had mine a year and now that i’m finally used to it, i can’t drive the company truck without feeling all over the center console to roll the window down before i realize where i am 😂
lol. perfectly understand your annoyance with the window switch placement. Because when I get into my wife's VW Atlas, I find myself reaching into the center console in an attempt to roll the windows down.
My 2dr has door alignment issues too , scraping on the driver’s corner , dealer is going to fix it . One of my pet peeves is the wiper control all on the left side just feels wrong , I reckon the designer was a leftie , and I wish it had a proper hand brake . I guess I’m not a music guy as my base sound system works for me , will have to listen to a good set up to see what I’m missing . I’m a bit old for the roof tents but they do look great .
Only one i have on my 22WT4dr is the window rattle. I have a soft top, and one of the rear latches (for raising the back end of it) broke, so it needs to be manually opened and closed when closing the back end. I also offroaded I guess a little hard, since my rearview is loose now
Nice looking vehicle. Love the white on black. That window would drive me crazy. I don't off road a lot but do enjoy it when I do. I guess I'll just stick with my 4runner. Oh how I wish they would bring the Fj cruiser back.
I ordered a Big Bend with Sasquatch and hardtop in September 21. I still don't have the car and got an email from Ford informing me I probably won't get one. They further said I can possibly order 24 model. What gives with this company? The string you along for 18 months then say the car isn't available. VERY disappointed to say the least.
1:00 sound system sucks
2:38 front windows raddle over bumps when lowered only a bit to let fresh air in and when opening and closing the door

I work at ford. There is a tsb that fixes both of those issues under warranty, I've done a few of them
My passenger side does this.
Thank you for this. The window rattle is insane I feel like it's gonna break.
Thanks for sharing! They do seem “small issues”, but when spending 55,000 - 65,000 dollars, you want it perfect! Beautiful set up 👍🏼
Exactly!
0:49 0:53 0:53 0:54
$ 55-65k is absolutely ridiculous. Don't get ripped off.
Totally agree with you. For the price they are charging for the Bronco, the quality should be much better at that price point.
Looks great dude! I’m a Wrangler guy but it’s hard to ignore what Ford has done with this generation of the Bronco.
I have a compass and I keep looking at the Broncos. It's hard not to admire what they have done!
What ford has done? bronco is 45% foreign made. The remainder is US/CANADA (foreign). ford is not doing it. ford is relying more and more on foreign countries and workers in order to stay in business. Don't get ripped off.
It's an incredible improvement on the Jeep Wrangler top issues.
Does Jeep have a bigger top down version?
Like a convertible?
Love it!
Great points! Easy to add aftermarket LEDs and tap them into the existing wiring but hey I get what you mean! Maybe when they release the facelift 🤓
@@marksocials97 there’s always one of you in the comments, lol.
Uh should i get one? I really want it but im contemplating
@@ilc-nl3yyhere we go
hey man i’m looking into get one as well. any issues when it comes to the mechanics of it? has it been giving u any issues reliability wise?
@@ilc-nl3yyyes they are lasting. Change your oil regularly and it’s fine.
I have a black diamond as well and yes, 2 & 3 drive me insane lol 😂
Wish it had the cubby that goes in between the center counsel like the Nissan rouge has. Would be so helpful
I owned a Subaru that had the frameless windows and didn't have the issue
Yah I hope they come out with a fix. I like having my windows partially down.
It's so bad that I won't drive down the highway unless the windows are all the way down or all the way up. And when you close the doors it sounds like the windows are going to fall off. My husband has frameless on his mustang and they don't rattle.
@@aliciamcginnis4590 I'm concerned that it's going to shatter from the extreme vibration
Same!
Only issue I’ve had is occasionally when you open the rear doors the windows don’t close in the frame
You can lower and raise it and keep the window button pressed up for 30 seconds and it resets
I have a base model with 35s and leather
Love it
I'll tell you if you make that window tighter then take the vehicle off-road you will bust the window when you hit some serious rough patches.
Thank you 🤘🏻✌🏻
The only issue I find with this video is you mentioned listen to Joe Rogan on podcast.
I only have a week with my brinco and I’m like “ yes, yes, yes” to all that lol! But i love my bronco ❤
Apparently the rattle can be fixed pretty easily but man it makes it sound like it’s gonna fall apart on the trail😂
Sound system is trash and one of the reason I sold it last week
@@FlashbackFern Appreciate your heads up. Have heard audio system complaints from other Bronco owners, too. However, one Bronco owner advised the sound system could be adjusted to sound okay. Will see.
@@problu9586 well there is more I was not a fan of but I’ll leave it at that. Great truck overall just wish a few things were different
How’s the road noise on the braptor? I feel like I hear a lot of people saying it’s bad but if you could lmk.
I'd like a full-framed door/solid permanent hardtop roof option
Badlands and Black Diamond have the stock metal bumper. Agreed on the audio and front door jiggling! Good video! overall I love my bronco. Tons of fun
Front bumper correct my black diamond doesn’t have a steel rear bumper as he mentioned in video.
So glad you showed us those issues. I’m thinking of passing on the bronco and going for the 2024 Jeep wrangler 👍
same
Not so fast.
I have a badlands 2 door and it came with a plastic rear bumper, did your come with a metal bumper?
@@jjhernandez5244 it is actually steel on the lower 85% and the top piece is hard MIC plastic but the color matches the rest of bumper, flares, black parts perfectly and really looks like 1 unit
Sadly when you get to be an old system to subwoofer amplifier and the amplifier for the system is in the right rear quarter panel. All it takes is one rainstorm with the top off and the amplifier is done. Another poor freaking design from Ford
Just got a Corsa for mine, sounds great
Automakers need to return to having vent windows in vehicles. Don't have to open the primary window to move some air around the cabin.
I know tell me about. Vent windows circulated the air so much better. I miss 2 door Broncos too just way more rugged looking.
Mine doesn’t have that issue
Great video! What type of grill guard did you go with? It looks great!
I have the B&O sound system in my Bronco, I think it's pretty awesome.
Perfectly fine for calls while driving. The sound clarity on the other end is great too
I have a wildtrak and I love it !!!
I have that same hat! It's the best hat I've ever owned and still looks brand new after Texas summer.
Dude I thought it was crazy they were so expensive but my gf got me this one and it’s true. The best hat ever. You just wash it and it’s clean - no more sweat rings. I wear it paddle boarding and just dunk it to stay cool
@@JacobRDoty yeah the price is like uumm what?? What an awesome gift though. Yeah it cleans up so easily.
I agree on the sound system and the rear bumper. I don't like the mileage, the wind noise.
The window might be a easy fix. Pop the panels and tighten the wiper. I had to do that on some cars before. It works.
Weird! That’s the first time I’ve heard of this issue. Sounds like you’re well on your way for Lemon Law and getting a new vehicle out of it.
My explorer did the same thing…went away when I put a new battery in. Perhaps you got a faulty battery…
could be a bcm module issue
That actually could be a battery the ecu sometimes will do that shit weird sometimes on Nissan models when the alternator goes out the dash cluster goes everywhere lol lights as well
Lemon law it or get an attorney
The window rattle annoys the hell out of me (on both front doors) as well but even more annoying thing to me is the Sun Visor. You can not see stop lights and covers to much of the windshield. My friend found a solution, tinted 4 inches on top the windshield. That is my next plan. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for your honesty but I agree for the cost...they should address your concerns
Glad I got the Bronco Raptor. Have none of these issues outside the sound system, but I don’t listen to a lot of music so not a problem for me.
@@ubeuonly All new vehicles are expensive. Ford still sells the heck out the bronco. Not my fault you're broke.

Solid video. The lack of drip rail is a huge mistake on Fords part, and quite annoying.
Could I get a link to the sub and amp you got?
As a huge music person I agree on the music. I hate that there are barely any interior lights. My kid has to open his door at night in order to see his seatbelt buckle. It’s the little things they missed the mark on.
Guys what is the name of this type of tire??! Would love to know!
Great video. These are good observations. For as expensive as they are, the quality really isn't all there. Very frustrating.
Keep in mind the OBX is the more street worthy comfortable trim. It’s understandable it doesn’t have a metal bumper.
Bang & Olufsen was never known for deep bass. They were known for design, materials, performance and hi-fidelity not club level loudspeakers.
Nobody ever talks about the sound system. Thank you so much
That's because when they're trying to make a video and they've got 10 things they don't like the sound system doesn't make it on the list
I have a 22 Ford Expedition Timberline and the driver door has the gap too. I haven’t had time to take it back to the dealership but will be taking it soon.
Bronco looks good, man!
Agreed on rain gutter and rear bumper.
Thanks for the video, I'm currently in the market for a bronco, this definitely gives me something to look into before purchasing 👍🏽
the window rattle and the rain dripping in are easily my 2 biggest complaints with my 4-door Black Diamond.
To have a inadequate Bang and Olufsen system is criminal for the price point
You made very good point that are not trivial. Thanks to you I won't be buying it. Appreciate the great info.
My driver door sits just like your passenger door and it bothers the he'll out of me at night when the puddle lights shine down you can really see the fitment sucks. Was thinking same as you I can adjust myself but haven't gotten around to it yet. If you find a solution for it a video would be greatly appreciated. Good luck with it
Have a Jeep Gladiator and it has a killer sound system!! We absolutely love it. We also love Ford, and were looking at a Bronco.
There is a TSB on the driver door, whoever builds the driver door needs to be fired at the plant. When I picked mine up I had the dealer take it completely apart and there were literally nuts loose
Yep, I’ll be checking when I take it in for all TSBs and anything they can do to help fix haha
Love the white. This is exactly how I want mine to look.
the trunk should be more spacious everything else you mentioned agree. cheap material but it is not specifically this vehicle all new ones are the same
I have a 22 Outerbanks and don’t have any of those issues, and BTW it beats the crap out of any jeep I’ve driven. I love mine and paid 43K all in.
I hate the frameless windows and I won't be taking the doors off so I guess I'll stick with the sport.
i own the sport too. what issues do u have with urs?
@@purpytwinzo4290 no issues except the terrible noise it makes when you brake in reverse. like metal against metal. not a bright sound....a deep sound. that's a thing. it's stupid, but it's how they are. not acceptable. what about you?
@@RotterStudios yea the brakes can get a bit noisy sometimes. pushing 19k miles and i haven’t experienced any major issues but recently i noticed the acceleration can be a bit rattly. i’m thinking it’s an issue with the fuel injector or the spark plug. or both. gonna find out from the mechanic
Great video with specific perspectives from an actual owner and user. Thank you !!
This is going to make me trade in my wrangler. love this build so much
The only thing I'm really unhappy with is the parking brake. Where it's positioned it should mimic a foot brake where you pull off push on, but it's the opposite. It's something that messes me up for a second whenever I go from my f150 to the bronco.
I really hate that window raddle on my bronco when I have the window 1/4 down while driving
Mine is bad too 😢
I bought a new 1984 Jeep cj 7. Still own it and love it. I think the expectations everyone under 40 has is just a bit unbelievable. I also own a 1966 nova ss. Trust me when I say that if you look at anything close enough you’ll find things wrong. Especially according to the RUclips video where the guy critiques the 250k super car.
Hopefully Ford will fix these issues, since we have been holding off on the Broncos, Tankx for the honesty.
Love your Bronco, I have a Big Bend 4 door that I got back in July and I'm very happy with it, however my biggest complaint would have to be where they decided to put the window switches at-I'm constantly reaching toward the inside of my door to roll the window down and then realize that the switches are on the center console-I understand they did it so that the doors could be taken off but I'm going on six months now and still haven't trained myself on where it's at
I agree. I have had mine for 7 months and can't get used to window switches on the console
i’ve had mine a year and now that i’m finally used to it, i can’t drive the company truck without feeling all over the center console to roll the window down before i realize where i am 😂
lol. perfectly understand your annoyance with the window switch placement.
I have a 2021 Badlands with the Lux package. The sound is great. I also don’t have a window rattle issue.
Just like OJ!
