I always saw the white and black bird in the complete opposite view point. Draco let the dark side fully consume him, wanting to become part of it thus killing off the good in him, first sacrificing the white bird for the early testing. Then, while the year progresses he becomes more and more doubtful about needing to do this or even wanting to do this slowly also trying to eradicate the evil in him thus also sacrificing the black bird for more testing. After all, it's a completely neutral bird that eventually makes it through the cabinets showing that he's stuck somewhere in the middle.

I have only recently been listening to all of the audiobooks of the books (after watching the movies for years) and enjoying them so much especially someone (me) who wants to be a writer! Growing up, I wasn’t allowed to read or even watch the movies and when I was, I didn’t finish the books cause life happened. It’s nice now to listen to them for the first time as I’ve just started Deathly Hollows! These videos got recommended to me only a few days and now I’m onto this one! Wow! Keep it up! I think the reason the lights mess up when magic is approaching or being used in muggle areas is a reference to the part in the books where it's revealed that electric bugs wouldn't work at Hogwarts due to all the magic. According to Hogwarts: A History, technology and electronics tend to short out and malfunction when around strong sources of magic.

It's probably a bit nitpicky but it's still a cool little detail to point out I think!

I think the stone can bring back any dead person. Maybe it doesn't matter if they are loved ones or not. But im not sure tho?
