      Uh what? Why would Tywin think a servant would be greater than a head of a house, especially Lannister.

    • @nicolasdiez7688
      @nicolasdiez7688 Год назад

      @@chadprice1171 Tywin already knew Arya was not a servant. He said it himself, the way Arya talks, how she knows to read and write, and her knowledge about history of Westeros is impossible for a peasant, or at least extremely difficult. In the medieval age, wich is where it's placed this story, around 99% of the education was solely for the nobilty, the royal family and those part of the church (in this case the Great Septone), for a child who comes from a peasant family or servants it was nearly impossible to have a formal education like Arya had, in the best case they learn basic mathematics to assist a noble in ruling a house but that's only if that person is the child of a servant close to a noble house considered a loyal and trusting servant. In Game of Thrones most of the population have limited knowledge based on those tales that are told and spread by the higher ups, for example, probably all characters born in Westeros know about the legend of Aegon Targaryen and how he conquered the Seven Kingdoms (but mostly they know him as "the Conqueror or simply Aegon) but other details such as the name of his sister-wifes, the names of their dragons and weapons are information only those priviledged people can have access. Maybe Tywin wanted Arya to learn more so she could use his knowledge in her favor, that could be the reason he shared with the girl what he knows such as the meaning of legacy, the purpose of winning a war, the way he views himself and his house.

    2:09 Cersei had also that tomboyish personality, but unlike Arya she resigned to what is expected from a woman in society by that time, she tells to Sansa during the battle of Blackwater that she'd prefer to face the thousand blades of her enemies instead of hiding behind her chaimers, I guess that's partially the reason she looks embittered the whole time

    • @thenablade858
      @thenablade858 Год назад +3

      Cersei, like Arya, was not happy with what was expected of her but Cersei is much crueler, more ridiculously jealous and less intelligent than Arya. Arya is quick to befriend, even prostitutes in Braavos, but Cersei is incapable of friendship because of her envy and paranoia. Tywin’s bad parenting didn’t help.

      @@raularroyo5515 You think someone as smart as Tywin Lannister would let the daughter of Ned Stark go free because he already had another daughter? No, he would secure Arya and use her as another bargaining chip. To suggest otherwise is to diminish Tywin's intelligence. Or yours.

      ok maybe .. but do think Arya would've let him use her as a bargain? I'm sure he took that into consideration. Like Cersei said she's a wild animal so just let the wild be wild and let her go. There was no use for her anymore. For all he knew she was gonna die on her own. She was already in death row at Harrenhal and he saved her. She could've easily found herself in another situation like that.
