good choice, last year i've upgraded from a 2007 RS50 (original swiss version about 100kmh) to a RS125 PY from 2006 (fullpower version) and the feeling is the same, but its a bit louder and 26hp more. 👍
I had one of these in Spain's no/Fortuna livery it too was de restricted also had the arrow exhaust and pipercross cone air filter bigger carb it was such a fun bike to ride it had a proper big bike feel to it, I once had 113mph on the Speedo probably 105mph true speed. It was more expensive to run than my CBR600
I'm thinking of getting a arrow or Tyga exhaust and making a full video of the difference possibly a dyno run to see. You notice and over rev with the arrow? I really would like to add power in that section.
I am thinking about buying one here in the U.S. There is a brand new 09 with like 13 miles on it if u can believe that, but the guy wants like 7k for it. The other one has 1000 miles on it with a bigger carb and a TYGA Exhaust and a different reed valve for $4200. Any idea on how hard parts are to get on these now they are no longer being made?
Aye I'm in NJ. picked this up for 4900$ with 800 miles in 2019ish for reference. Parts are easy enough for a low number imported us bike. AF1 Aprilia down in Texas carry some stuff. But really having parts shipped over form the UK is easy enough. That second bike seems like a good deal. They're upgrades you would want to do already, only 1000 miles, a lot of life left. My bike has 5000 ish miles and I haven't cracked open the top end yet.
@@TeeOna2Stroke Nice great info thanks! I have always wanted one of these when I saw them on the Aprilia website back in 09 time frame I guess. The one that is already plated is the one I am strongly looking at. The other one will need the headlight harness, mirrors, etc.
@@TeeOna2Stroke Well I am a proud owner of a Aprilia RS 125. Picked her up this afternoon. She is a little screamer. Love love it. I own a Ninja ZX4 RR as well, and the little Aprilia is right up there fun factor wise.
@@josefmd holy fuck dude that was fast as hell lolol. I see you were absolutely not fucking about. I'm guessing you went with the second option ? And yeah I can imagine that 4RR is loads of fun as well. Good thing about that Aprilia is that you should be able to get rid of it the same amount you paid for it if you were to sell, love that aspect.
@@TeeOna2Stroke Yeah I guess not! Yea it being street legal and the price made it the one. I had to clean her up real good since she was sitting for a while in the guys garage. @@TeeOna2Stroke Could i ask how much you bought it for if you dont mind, and how fast is can go (as in top speed) Further more id like to know if i decide to purchase a 2007-2012 Aprilia RS 125 would there be any modifications i could do. And if Yes then should i ?
$5000 USD. about 95 ish mph, I weigh 240 lbs. (check out my RUclips short for top speed). There are many modifications available, cylinder heads, cylinders, reeds, exhausts, carburetion ECT. My bike is stock though, haven't felt the need to do any modding.
it would be super cool to have something similar. I think a 154cc kit is available and the JL or jolly moto pipes, one of them have a massive expansion chamber on it.
i'm definitely getting this next, atm i have a 2014 aprilia rs50 and it does 70 mph on a flat, but this is a step up
You live in uk I got one for sale the same

Hola Buenas! Cual mejor aceite para motor 10W40 castrol MTX o Motul ? Aceite separado castrol power Racing 1 o Motul 710 ? Muchas GGracias!
Hi! Use motul 10w40 or 10w30 for transmission. And for injection always use motul 710
Always thought they were quicker my mt hits 85 with a 4 stroke and no fairings

Price depends on your location. It's a. 2009 Aprilia RS 125 2 stroke.

I had a 95 and 96 year RS125 with Rotax engine and were faster. With chain and sprocket set I'm certain 120-130mph got hit.
Possibly, I think the GP 125's struggled to hit those kinda speeds though. I think the biggest changes between rotax 122 and 123 was the carburetion.
