It’s getting worse. Being hit off track just to get an off track penalty or hitting a guy someone else spun and getting the contact penalty. I had a 10sec penalty race yesterday.
I have to applaud your emotional restraint here. If that were me I would've just rage quit and threw a temper tantrum. I hope that guy who won knows just how lucky he got. I'd say GG but I'll say BG (bad game) for this one because of that 🐎💩 penalty.
They went from 3 points of data to 9.😂 Seriously, there are just collisions the "intelligence" still doesn't understand. A couple of weeks ago I took a 4 second penalty at Kyalami after getting broadsided coming down the hill. Dude just rammed my car trying to knock me off the track. After a year, this should not be a work in progress.
Valid complaints about the Porsche dive bomb penalty although you did slide off the track on the last lap which ultimately cost you P1 (just being real). As you said none the less, you made some good decisions in real time and went out on a limb to potentially go soft soft, which was both impressive and interesting. regardless of penalties, pressures, frustrations or results (P2 btw) you have some really good race craft and it was on full display in this video. 🤙
I was talking about this on stream, theres ways you can manipulate the penalty system. Because you technically hit him as you turned in just a little bit the game thinks okay well you caused the contact, and because he drove himself off the track the game thinks the collision that you made on him caused him to go off track. It doesnt think that him not braking caused all of this. Complete bs. But yeah if you make someone hit you then drive off track theres a good chance it will give them a pen and a big one.
That guy should have gotten the penalty instead...he nearly took you of track! There is only hope someone from Turn 10 gets this situation to see and further improve the collision/penalty system. Very unfortunate
For a couple of weeks now I’m suspecting that whenever there’s a collision + crash the penalty system punishes both drivers, regardless of whose fault it was. Unfair and stupid. Been saying for months now that the penalty system is the worst feature in the game, people able to exploit its flaws spend all race acting up because the game does not penalise them. I’ll go so far to say that I had a race a guy was able to make me take a penalty to ensure his position. Awful.
I was happy you got mad as I was starting to think you maybe a robot lol. The penalty system sucks for sure, I mostly play single player while I hone my skills, yesterday I was smashed into by four reckless drivertards, I was knocked off track, car badly damaged and got 4.5 second penalty, I swore loudly for a prolonged period and almost cried like a baby, so I thunk you handled it very well. Well done, not your usual standard but gives players like me hope. All the best from England.

The penalty system and the forza rammers are the reason why I switched to iracing. I'm tired of dirty racing and penaltys that make no sense

I’ve had similar but worse. The dude cut across the grass and understeered into me, causing me to wreck. I got half a second for being wrecked😂

I can only race one race in this game cause the penalty system is crazy and I start get mad as hell..😂 they need to fix it asap

PC only feature for the rearview mirror. Nothing to do with VIP. Telemetry being next to the tach I have no idea about
