I was the one in the audi who started 3rd and let me tell you there is nothing more heart pounding than seeing super gt right behind you but it was a good race nonetheless :)
I had a GT race at Hakone that was 13 laps. Had a battle with 2nd place (i won) for 12 of the 13 laps. He had more straight line speed and would get me on the straight and i would claw back. Won by less than 0.2s. One of the best battles I've ever had on any online racing game. Having a lot of fun online so far
Same! Had a GTX race where we traded places twice on the last lap for 1st place, he got me out the last corner but he picked up a penalty that meant I won the race. It’s been really really fun.
I’m excited he enjoys forza since that is my prefer racing games so it’ll be a lot of fun watching his races online and I’ll be able to learn from watching
Im really glad to see alot of people enjoying the game and multiplayer but, its driving me f*cking nuts how oversteery ever car is, the fact that you can power slide FWD cars and LMP cars in the exact same way is insane. It breaks the emersion for me and sucks to experience after jumping out of ACC and AC. But watching Albono enjoy the game will always be a good thing.
the game has flaws over flaws right now. better watch some honest reviews before spending money on this. its actually brazenly to release a game in this state.
@CITRUS-- Try to increase downforce and use traction control. You can see videos from other people using GT3s and Prototypes without sliding. You can even reach the real lap times of the cars in real life with a proper tune. There's some ACC youtubers like Dan Suzuki that say Forza is a lot of fun.
Penalties definitely need to be worked on I got spun out near the front and ended up with a 2 second penalty while the other person didn’t receive any penalty. Thought it was funny but yea I’d like to see it tweaked a bit 😂
i think the penalty system is pretty good. only a few times where I got penalized for something I didn’t do but for the most part, it can recognize when a collision is just a racing incident and not intentional
@@boostedsuave3353 I've been having issues where myself or others have been completely taken out and no penalty and other times we would get a penalty, it's really inconsistent
I was about to overtake in the straight of grand oak in one of my rookies, and the guy literally turned on me and I got 0.5 penalty. Sadly that was my first experience with the penalty system, I spent the entire race trying to avoid crashing, managed to do it, and that happens and he got no penalty.
@@joshuawhelan9358 maybe i’ve been getting lucky. something i’ve been experimenting is whenever I go off track or have a collision that may be penalty worthy, i slam on the breaks for .1-.2 secs so that i “lose time” and then carry on. I’ve been pretty successful in avoiding penalties that way. I think part of the system is it checks if you gained time or not. I would give that I try and see if it’s been successful for you
People talk so much trash about this game but I’ve been having a lot of fun… this will be a platform to build upon and I’m excited to see how high this can go 👍🏼
Ngl I was upset when it wasn't running properly on my PC. However, after I fixed my settings, it's been running smoothly and now I'm enjoying the experience overall 😁
I’m enjoying it too but this just isn’t how games should release. All of the hate is justified and their platform to build upon has been the previously released 7 games. Hope they’ll turn things around with this mess.
@@IsoEvolve Man, I didn't understand why everyone was complaining about the PC performance, was it really just the default settings causing peoples issues? I never jump right into playing a game without fixing the video settings, so I never had any issues at all. Game looks great, and I'm getting a solid 60 at 4k high settings with ray tracing on.
@@COMMANDandConquer199 at one point my frames were under 30fps 1080p on low settings but now I can play high settings with ray tracing at a steady 60fps 1440p. It was just a little unstable lol
@@COMMANDandConquer199the performance isn’t terribly bad frames wise like I can get up to 75fps comfortably but for some reason it drops so much like I’ll go down into the 20-30’s non stop it’s stuttering a ton and I don’t know why hopefully they fix
The multiplayer has been incredible. Occasional rammers but nothing like FM7. Game has its problems to clean up but it has some legs with how good the multiplayer is. Looking forward to more videos, hoping to see some wheel/controller settings videos soon?
Hats off to GilFireblade and fabiothsilva too. Moving up 6 and 14 positions respectively to round out the top 4. NWM ANT as well with his 14 position improvement.
Glad to see your enjoyment despite a loud number of people being negative about every single player progression aspect of the game. I think the multiplayer aspect is the most polished part of the game. I For one, though, I am enjoying the career far more than motorsport 7
@@eddi3401felt the same way, but I did just one of the qualifying MP races to try it out. Actually ended up coming in 2nd, fairly close to 1st. Started in 2nd with qualifying too, I was honestly impressed lol. Point is, career mode definitely helps.
@@eddi3401 Me too, this is the first simulator like game I've ever played. I did some runs on Laguna Short and I'm still 5-6sec off Super GT's time at least so I'll keep practicing on career mode before jumping into multiplayer.
If it's one thing new players have to learn is that the Forza community are a bunch of cry babies. They will literally complain about anything and everything. Best not to allow them to spoil your fun.
Soooo damn happy this turned out well. I've wanted GT7 for the longest time but have been a Forza gamer since FM4, super happy to see that we FINALLY have a game that can at least be as good as GT7 in the multiplayer gameplay at least. Great race super close.

I think it feels like a good-but-raw foundation for a really good racing game, meaning there are issues that need to be addressed and content that needs to be added but the core racing experience is really good. The things I dislike about the game are very fixable (or in some cases just self-inflicted wounds from dumb decisions), so I'm excited to see what the game looks like after it's had a couple of big updates to react to feedback and bugs.

I'm really enjoying it gotta admit, both gameplay and progression wise. Was surprised to find a pretty decent Atmos Mix too, rain and thunder are actually outputting from the overhead channels, pretty immersive.
Glad you're using the pad Steve... First time I've used it for 5 years since getting my rig. It's really playable once you adjust the pad settings. Great video mate.

I am blown away. I cannot understate how good Forza is online. I've played all night last night. And every single race was clean, close racing. It truly is a power moment for sim racers online. The penalty system is fantastic. It really makes everyone try that but harder to be clean. I was not expecting to love it so much. Genuinely, Forza Motorsport 2023 is one of the best oije racers I've ever had the privilege of playing.

I can’t believe how reeled in I got to watching a third person controller race. Awesome stuff. I may hop on the couch instead of breaking the simulator out today and just relax with a race!
Lately the internet has been on a roll on absolutely hating everything new that comes out, sometimes they have a point, but they always act like it's the worst thing ever. There's definitely issues with the game, especially optimization-wise on pc, that warrant critique but the gameplay is so damn good. They just gotta fix those graphical glitches and tweak the penalty system and possibly the car leveling system.

Same here although I am extremely disappointed that there is no drift mode yet I assumed since they had drift parts that there was going to be a drift mode so most of the cars I worked on unlocking parts for at the start are cars I'll never circuit race. Well unless there is a series for BMW 3 series and 240SX platforms

I have one pole so far in a TC race and got turned and wrecked on a straightaway within half a lap. That being said, most of the racing I’ve seen has been squeaky clean through most of the field. The safety rating really shines there
My first few races in this class were all pretty good and clean but after that all the rammers came and ive not had a single race since that ive not been wrecked by someone. I wish there was some sort of way they could fix that but i doubt they even would

Absolutely insane that this game has the newer gt3 cars but meanwhile in gran turismo we still have the 2013 458, the front engined corvette, 2014 huracan, 2017 Porsche 911 rsr, and the bmw m6’s.
I’m finding the best strategy so far in most online hoppers is Hard to Soft. In the practice sessions I work out how many full laps with 0 grip loss I can do on the softs then I know when to pit in the race. If you end up half way through a lap and the tyres fall off it’s not worth it IMO to do a Medium/Medium
Going through the esses at Indy, a way I learned to shift is to go 2nd-3rd-2nd, depending on your pace, but at times I just remain in 2nd, I’ve greatly enjoyed Forza so far tho
I just did my first multiplayer last night the the civic type r touring car around laguna seca short. It was a great race. Nobody punted anyone and everyone raced fair. I ended up on pole and won the race with another car keeping close to me for 3/7 laps before he spun out. I think the qualifying method needed some explaining as you only get 3 laps and you can start it whenever you want even in practice. That was the only thing that threw me off so I only had one lap of fuel left by the time I hit qualify
Series idea, for the car Spotlight races, buy the car stock and level it up in multiplayer, enjoy your progress up the grid as you unlock more upgrades across races 😀
I love this game been playing the forza motorsport series since forza motorsport 2 way back in the day. This game is amazing it does have its problems what game doesnt,but these things eventually will be resolved.
I think this is where it ultimately shines .. its not groundbreaking graphics wise (on series S) , in that it doesn’t blow you away , but the on track action is imo second to none. The game has had some real bad YT vids slating it , but playing on a series S , it runs and plays great !
Controller gang! One point I haven't seen mentioned anywhere is how good the haptics feel on an Xbox One controller. They really make the most out of those extra vibration "zones" and give you good feedback on brakes locking, losing traction on a specific wheel, etc.
Having a blast playing this , do you think they will ever add a coop mode for the builders cup etc. Would also like some customisable race suits and helmets
This game is something else. I'm running a T128 wheel, so just gas / brake, and flappy paddle shifters. Multiplayer has been back and forth. Got my safety rating compromised because other people swung into me and I was somehow supposed to be able to avoid it. *eye roll* I'm out of the initial races so I can do others. Need more practice and such.
Happy to see you loving Forza despite all the hate that the game is getting, I'm having a blast at each online races so I don't understand. Would love to see more cockpit view though !

Backmarkers can't wreak havoc any longer. At most they can be annoying and distracting, but they can't do what they have done before.
Yeah it's going to be crazy if they don't disappoint with support for a game.

man im loving this game with the wheel so good and when you get it right you can be very fast with thhe wheel and it just feels good over all
The brake lights are absolutely stunning... alot of games have brake lights that are barely visible.
I was recently amazed by the lights on the Corvette on The Crew Motorfest. You can see the tiniest details. GT7 always does lights well too

The GTX Sportcars Series was the best. Oldschool IMSA GTO cars. Wide cars, difficult to overtike, different to drive. Loved that category

I just did my first multiplayer last night the the civic type r touring car around laguna seca short. It was a great race. Nobody punted anyone and everyone raced fair. I ended up on pole and won the race with another car keeping close to me for 3/7 laps before he spun out. I think the qualifying method needed some explaining as you only get 3 laps and you can start it whenever you want even in practice. That was the only thing that threw me off so I only had one lap of fuel left by the time I hit qualify

Series idea, for the car Spotlight races, buy the car stock and level it up in multiplayer, enjoy your progress up the grid as you unlock more upgrades across races 😀
I love this game been playing the forza motorsport series since forza motorsport 2 way back in the day. This game is amazing it does have its problems what game doesnt,but these things eventually will be resolved.
i would go absolutely bonkers back here at the viewer factory if you were to stream some online forza.
I think this is where it ultimately shines .. its not groundbreaking graphics wise (on series S) , in that it doesn’t blow you away , but the on track action is imo second to none. The game has had some real bad YT vids slating it , but playing on a series S , it runs and plays great !
the 0.80s penalty really made that last race really intense
Turn 10 have done it this game is now comparable to gt7, if not a little bit more fun due to the physics and graphics.
I’ve always enjoyed forza more than gt so I’m glad he gets to enjoy it

Just had a brilliant race on Mable Valley in the formula mazda they are ridiculously fun to drive I love the state the online racing is in
The races are amazing and pretty clean, the mazda open wheel races are very fun, battle with 5 cars for the lead. TCR and GT are amazing also
Oh man!! Not fair tho, even you beat the racer to finish P1 , you still finished 2nd place because of the penalty! GG!

Also enjoying multiplayer. Some tracks makes it difficult to handle the car like mugello. A lot of sliding,… guess a good tune is necessary

Controller gang! One point I haven't seen mentioned anywhere is how good the haptics feel on an Xbox One controller. They really make the most out of those extra vibration "zones" and give you good feedback on brakes locking, losing traction on a specific wheel, etc.
Having a blast playing this , do you think they will ever add a coop mode for the builders cup etc. Would also like some customisable race suits and helmets
Yeah coop racing against AI is a must have. I love this game but sometimes I just wanna race with my friends and not have to sweat as hard 😅

This game is something else. I'm running a T128 wheel, so just gas / brake, and flappy paddle shifters. Multiplayer has been back and forth. Got my safety rating compromised because other people swung into me and I was somehow supposed to be able to avoid it. *eye roll* I'm out of the initial races so I can do others. Need more practice and such.

Because if you're not an online player the game basically has nothing else going for it, that's about it
