The recipe for my Seafood & Cucumber Appetizers is available here www.inthekitchenwithelisa.com...
Hi lovelies, are you ready for another appetizer recipe? :) I have really enjoyed creating these simple appetizers for you and well, if I am completely honest, it has not been too bad eating them as well :D I have another one coming next week and then I won't be doing them weekly anymore, but once in a while. Todays recipe is also with two different options and both are with seafood and cucumber. Both of these appetizers are really light and fresh. I hope you will like these and will be trying them out :) Enjoy!

Helloo what ingredients did you use for second appetizer?😊
Hi there, you can find both complete recipes here www.inthekitchenwithelisa.com/seafood-and-cucumber-appetizers 😊
Just curious about how to prepare the salmon.
Hi there, I use cold smoked salmon that can be eaten as it is.
What can I use to replace the horse radish? or can I just skip it?
Hi Vicky, you can just skip it😊

Thank you😊
Umm good idea 💡
Thank you😊
I had trouble piping the cream cheese onto these appetizers…Seems that I just couldn’t get that nice little tip as seen here…Wondering if my cream cheese was too cold and stiff (?).
Hi there, yes, you are absolutely right. Different brands of cream cheese have different consistency. You can soften it with a fork and if you notice it is still really hard, then you can add a little mayo or creme fraiche to get the right piping consistency. I hope this helps and I hope they still tasted good😊
@@inthekitchenwithelisa hi and thank you for your response…the appetizers were a hit! Will definitely try your advice next time. God bless.
@@mrob75 happy to hear that😊 All the best😊

Cookery
That looks like Parsley
You mean on the salmon? If yes, then it is not, it is dill 😊
My experience from this recipe: Cut the cucumbers thinner, about 1/8 inch. Peel first, all of the peel. Drain well as cucumbers are watery. Use onion, onion salt and perhaps a Paula Deen type seasoning salt in the cream cheese mixture. DO NOT USE cilantro, coriander or parsley. It adds nothing but another expense with no taste. Season shrimp very, very well even after removing and before placing on the cream cheese mix. Double the amount of onions. Use more Shiracha than suggested. Otherwise, it is pretty bland.
Hi there, thank you for sharing your personal opinion. However, I never peel cucumbers for this purpose, and I can't really think of why you absolutely should. Also, I use salad cucumbers, which are not that watery, so I suppose it really depends on what kind of cucumbers you can get or decide to use. But your tip is good, in case they are really watery 😊 I'm really sad you highly recommend omitting the greens; I absolutely love the flavor coriander/parsley/dill give to any dish you add them to. I always suggest adjusting seasoning to your own taste, but I would also like to say that everyone has very different tastes, and what can be bland for someone is not necessarily bland for another person, as well as what is enough seasoning for someone can be way too much for someone else. Therefore, I will say it again: please taste first and adjust to your own preferences.
I didn’t see sriracha in the recipes 🤨
That’s a lot of salt 😂
You can always adjust the seasoning to your personal taste😉
