It can be considered good music but not black metal. Unblack metal is the correct definition and for obvious reasons, it cannot be considered black metal by any means.
@michelecivini4799 , anyone who thinks "unblack" doesn't fit every definition for black metal- except the idiotic "Satanism"/"Paganism" nonsense that needs to fade into obscurity- and still claims that so-called "Unblack" is separate from Black Metal is a tool. This whole "ONLY TR00 KVLT" nonsense also makes one a tool. The legendary Hellhammer played session drums on their 2005 album.
In France for some reason, Dissection is usually called "dark metal". Burzum is also mostly considered trve, while Mayhem... not always. And stuff like Deathspell Omega, Watain or Funeral Mist isn't called "avantgarde" but usually Orthodox Black Metal. Some people put Blut Aus Nord (at least the non viking black metal albums he makes) in that category too. I liked the overall sound of Blackgaze. It is wall-of-soundish (love it) enough, but with some softer, more melodic parts.
NSBM; Proto-Black Metal; Dissonant Black Metal; Black-Hop; Funeral Black Metal - Here's five more to get thirty.
Funeral Black would've been awesome to include!! love that genre
Not fucking NSBM
@@na3th610yes, it does exist. No need to be that overly dramatic about that.
Including NSBM would be to akin to including rotting bread in a list of 25 types of bread. Like why even bother with that trash
as a greek person i have to say that rotting christ does indeed play gothic black metal but also they have done their deed on greek melodic black metal
Glad you put Blackgaze because that is one of my favorite Black Metal sub-genre. I love the both worlds of Rock sub-genres of Shoegaze and Black Metal.
Outre! Didn't expect that. I've considered them massively underrated, but they can't be THAT underrated if they're on Your channel
ARCHGOAT!!!!!!!
Dissection is my all time favourite and after Beherit,Archgoat and Blasphemy.
All your videos are greattt, btw you're a great guitar player too by all those riffss
Antestor 🤘
Amazing video, but some of those aren't genre. They're more like tags, and I choose other examples. But I love it and gladly share to my friends. Because most ot the people think that everything is the same or think that everything is Mayhem.
Yeah, in most of these videos of his there are a bunch of non-genres. Like the death metal one has "Florida death metal," "Satanic death metal" and stuff like that.
Antestor 😎👌🏼🎸

Really awesome video!
I was expecting to see Sumerian Black Metal with Melechesh 😮
