What stopped me from going to they're concerts wasn't the ticket price,,it was that they got stuck in the past too much,,THEY STOPPED DOING SLEEPING BAG, VELCRO FLY,STAGES,TV DINNERS,THUG,ETC. THAT'S THE STUFF I GREW UP LISTENING TO! ALSO GIVE IT UP,BURGER MAN ALL THE GOOD LATER STUFF!!! I got tired of hearing the same old stuff! I think the RECYCLER TOUR WAS THE LAST OF THE LATER STUFF,,then it was back to the 70's again AND I STOPPED GOING!!
ZZ Top is still as fun to watch today as they were in the 70's!! They do many of the same things they did way back like lighting up the cigar in TUSH. But it doesn't get old because you can tell that they still love playing together as a band and they are love music. Eric Clapton said they are real musicologist's. Here's to another 20 years!!
It was on this tour that ZZ Top gave us for the last time a very good setlist, because of the presence of my favorite, Pincushion, from Antenna, ZZ Top’s best album and also the album with which I discovered our favorite Texans!
