i love how they have the choir dressed in uniforms of all countries involved..standing side by side.. there ano winners in war, only victims..
Mat S well there were more involved. You see French (and most likely mixed with Belgium and Italians too), American and British, German (mixed with Austro-Hungarians) but you don’t see the Russians

@@serapshkornet Yeah they are a forgotten belligerent in the war. Partly because they were one of the biggest losers in the war. The revolution, and the subsequent terror that followed plagued the Russians. Arguably many Russians suffered more after the war then the central power citizens.

This performance of “the price of a mile” gives me goosebumps.
I lost 2 great grandads and great uncles in WW1. 2 at passchendale in 1915 and 1 at Ypres in 1918.
Millions of solders were killed on both sides in WW1. It’s heartbreaking to think of. I love that sabaton are bringing history to the fore through music
This live song sounds better than studio recording. Its time to remaster.

This is probably my favorite recording of a sabaton song ever (With the live recording of Karolinens Bön in a close second place).
The choir just elevates an already great song an extra level, sending chills down my spine. Especially thinking about how it's still relevant today with the trench warfare in Ukraine, it's enough to make a grown man cry.

The tense changes throughout the song. I only just realised that, and it makes it far more emotional. Soldiers at first being at ease, but gradually seeing the nightmare they’ve been pulled into is inescapable
Me getting emotional by a metal song is rare but this one really gets to me

I look at the choir and see in them, the young men who suffered in a horrible and saddening time. This song is one of humanity. It’s saddening to know that war will never go away. Love this song.

Not nitpicking, but I think it wouldve been awesome to see the choir slowly getting smaller as the song progress ending with one person from each military; Representing the fallen through the war. Great work guys!
That would be even more epic. Perhaps not in the song itself because it would ruin the vibe, but at the end where they sing without the instrumentals. That would have really given it a more dark edge. I love the idea!

Yeah saw them in 2020 in Belgium (I'm from there) it was my first concert by sabaton it was awesome!
I'm Swedish, and I've seen Sabaton perhaps 5-6 times. First time was in Gothenburg in 2008, and then in Wacken a month later. It's been 14 years since I went to Wacken. Damn.

Ich denke beides hat seine Vorzüge. Der Männerchor hat mehr Power aber der Frauenchor bietet mehr Vielfalt was auch sehr gut klingt
@@TheFlox1122 ein hoher gesang sorgt bei mir mehr für traurige stimmung, der männer chor macht es etwas kraftvoller, aber nicht zwingend besser
