I developed an adult allergy to cats that started when I was 18 that has gone from bad to life threatening. It hurts me as I had a cat as a kid that provided me with unconditional love. Something biological and unwanted has created a barrier between them and me. It is a yawning gulf in my heart. I watched this vid and burst into tears. At my age.

it rly does! i struggle with depression, and i catsitted my sisters cat over the weekend. he stayed in my room and he’s a very social, clingy cat. i was surprised to find that he got used to me within a day, and he was rubbing against me as i embroidered at my desk, pawed at my embroidery string, and followed me around my room. i get intrusive thoughts a lot and dissociate throughout the day, get bad night anxiety, but having him demand for attention and be so sweet helped so much... pulled me out of thoughts. especially at 4 am when he got playful, it distracted me a lot. i cried when he left.

Had an American medium-hair Siamese mix boy who was *very* similar to this kitty boy too. Always loving cuddles, even if it wasn't from me specifically. It's been almost six years since I lost my sweet Fallon boy, and seeing this really reminds me of him. I loved that sweet boy so much, and I'm glad to see this cat getting the same kind of love too

@@youtubeyoutube732 Indoor cats live long and healthier lives. That and I live along a main two lane highway just out of town which is dangerous for animals as they are killed on that road every day. There are a lot of stray dogs and cats around here plus fleas and ticks during the warm season. Mine are perfectly content indoors. A short time back I hadn't properly latched the side door and the tabby got out but when I went out to look for him he dashed right back into the house. He clearly doesn't want to roam the great outdoors.

(oddly enough, a cat that keeps itself clean smells nice... interesting tidbit most non-cat owners don't know - a cat that cleans itself can have an almost sweet scent) (if you're not allergic or have a hypo-allergenic breed) (yes that is a real thing; Siberians for instance, hypo-allergenic. Also freaking ADORABLE)

It’s so great to see another dude obsessed with his loving cat. My late cat was the same way. Loving and acting as my shadow. She looked a lot like him, grey tabby with blue eyes.
Unfortunately I had to put her down early this year. A few weeks shy of her 23rd birthday. I had her for 19 amazing years with her that I wouldn’t trade for anything.
Some people think cats have no personality or can not be loving. His cat and my late cat would prove that wrong.

That how my cat, Tiger, was. He would hug me & wrap himself around my neck like he was a scarf. He once followed me to school because he missed me so much. It was miles away but he made the trip. He was a Blue Point Persian mixed with a Siamese but he looked just like a very large Himalayan. Then again, because he had to be fed by a very talkative Mama Dog because his Mom died during the birthing process, he barked. No joke, he barked. He was strange & unique & I loved him immensely. He’ll always be my favorite pet ❤️

I always love hearing about guys who love cats. The ridiculous stereotype about cats and gender needs to go. If a man openly loves cats, he's confident enough in himself to ignore it, and that's awesome. ☺️
There's a difference between cat lovers and "crazy cat lady/guy".
And there's nothing wrong with either ... unless you take the crazy to the Nth level and have no room for yourself in your own home.

There's nothing like the feeling of a snugly cat curling up to you for affection.
Had a cat exactly like that and then after 17 years he died and I about died myself from sorrow. Enjoy him, enjoy that special love cause when he's gone man it will hurt.
Yea i know the feeling.. Earlier this year our youth cat passed away after 17 years. Broke me apart because she was so sweet. Other people didnt' like her for being a bit agressive sometimes. But that was due to thyroid cancer. We had her being operated when she was 12. Doctors gave her maximum 1/2 or 1 year tops to live, but still made it out for another 4. She was strong and really sweet. still miss her.
