If you had asked me years ago what was number one on my travel bucket list, I would have said seeing whales in the ocean, whale watching or whale spotting of any kind! Did you hear the swhale clicks? :) This was a magical experience and I am thankful for every moment. Seeing whales left me speechless and it was the perfect reminder that our planet is full of majestic animals, rich marine life and we need to continue to protect it, every day!

Never actually been to Mauritius :) But I did Dolphin watching in Madeira a few years ago :) It was beautiful too :)
Amazing! We went on a whale watching tour in the US, but unfortunately we did not see any. The guide said we were in the 1% club who weren't lucky enough. So we got a second ticket for a ride. But we never went there again.
Ohhh wow I have to say 1% is so small that you were almost lucky being unlucky :) !! Maybe it wasn’t meant to be that day :)

Hi, Sandy, that was fantastic, back in the days when social distancing was not the phrase of the year and hardly anyone had heard of covid 19, let's all keep our fingers crossed that we will soon be able to get back to something more normal. A whale of a tale. A big splash. Wonder if whales have memories like elephants? Wait until Sandy meets mighty blue whales, the biggest creatures ever to grace this planet. Their tongues weigh as much as an elephant, & their newborns are [only] 8800 pounds, tiny. :-)

@@SandyMakesSense Yes! Sandy meets the gentle giants of the animal kingdom. I think the biggest one was only 36 yards long. Typical blues weigh in at a measly 420,000 pounds. And they love to eat krill.

Sandy i looked at flights to Dominica but you have to change in antiga is this correct?
Yes exactly! That’s what we did too. You’d fly into Antigua with let’s say Virgin and then take a little plane to Dominica from there. I’m currently working on my blogpost which will have all the info of how to get there ❤️

When I saw the prices on that menu, I wondered WHAT currency those dollars were in?! ($60 for a lunch) but then I looked it up and there was an East Carribean Dollar that's valued at about 0.37 cents of a USD, so the $60 lunch was $22 in USD = 16GBP, so I guess not SO bad :)
