- After a 4000 kms road trip from France to Norway, Didier Noirot meets friends in Skjervoy. From there they start a voyage on a sailboat through the fjords to look for orcas and whales feeding on herrings. Beautiful scenics and amazing underwater pictures. Watch until the end !...
How absolutely breath taking these magnificent creatures are. Notice there‘s not one collapsed dorsal fin in sight…
A tour guide at a zoo I visited as a kid said dorsal fins collapse from the lack of pressure in the tank, so it makes sense that orcas that can dive whenever they want to wouldn't experience it. Then again, has a zoo that keeps orcas ever been honest about their health?
That's because the collapse dorsal fin only happens because of being in captivity goes to show u how wrong capitivity is for animals and sea world and other places like them should be ashamed of them selves they are monsters who keep captive anything
@@ebonywilliams2860 for a lot of animals it's actually good for them to rehabilitate the species. But not orcas. Not any cetacean for that matter. They are too intelligent and sapient to do that to them.
The ones in portugal will become man eaters
The mass of birds, plus the mass of Orcas, plus the mass of gigantic whales....you won't see this much LIFE even in a zoo, or inside a public aquarium! Wow.
Please do not go there. I mean in an aquarium, pls do not support these people!!!
@@horse-lover68 what about innocent aquariums that rehabilitate species? (Those who keep cetaceans I don't like btw.)
@@ohiologist9256 the only cetaceans that should be housed in my honest opinion are Beluga, they seem to do really well in captivity and communicate with humans fairly well and not only that but they ENJOY it. Any other species in the family is highly unlikely though, as Beluga are unique in size and intelligence. Dolphins sometimes but they're more intelligent and need more care.
Keeping a whale in an aquarium is like Keeping a dog in a cage
@@earthtoastro8349Orcas ARE dolphins.
Beautiful. I like this. Seeing a bunch of orcas and 1 humpback whale swimming and feeding together is iconic
Never seen so many Orcas together.. Wonderful
Humpbacks and orcas are some of the most amazing and gorgeous cetaceans we're fortunate to share the planet with
Today this has lifted my spirit, I'm in bed feeling down, lonely & a tooth is hurting. This is beautiful. How I would love to experience these magnificent Wales.
Are you me? Me to, it causes me pain everytime I think of how much time has passed without me interacting with creatures like this. I need it.
Whales
What beauty! I was unaware that orcas and humpies would feed together at the same time, and I love the glorious ballet of such a large pod feeding on herring. Merci!
A gree with you!
My first thought was, oh no they are gonna kill you. I never would have imagined them eating together. Beautiful
@@marychambers5597 Yes me too. Maybe it was ok cause they had enough other Food there.
@@marychambers5597 Orcas have very different Diets depending on where the Pod is located. Norwegian Orcas eat mostly Hering.
Transient Orcas off the coast of California, for example, hunt Whales and other mammals.
It depend's on which kind of orca!! If they are fisheater like the Northern and Southern resident's, why not??
If they are transient's they feed on marine mammal's, shark's ray's and so on, but this is an easy meal. Why should they attack whales when they have their food??
😮I can’t help but be in awe & teary eyed when I see the orcas & humpbacks 🐋 majestically dance in their element! So beautiful! ❤🌊🥲🥹
Gorgeous, breathtaking footage. Really shows how much these magnificent beasts do not belong in captivity. Thank you for sharing.
It's the most perfect choreography I've ever seen. Very emotional ❤😮
They live alongside together, different species. 😊
Humpback whales, orcas, seagulls, humans.
From Bandung, Indonesia
God has created such beautiful & intelligent animals.🇺🇸🐬🐳
I was thinking the same as I watched this lol
Who? 😂
im gay
god dont like some beings which make decisions on his own because then it goes against god and leave separate go single exit leave , that why
yes
That humpback was like “NOM” 🐋
That was absolutely mind blown and breath taking...Thank you for enduring those freezing temperatures so we can all see...WOW
WOW theres a lot of big males there. My favorite animals ever
The humpbacks tale and body looks so supple and limber swimming through the water, so beautiful! 💙
Breathtaking video! I absolutely loved the section showing the group of humpbacks, and gasped at the beauty of the two tails rising in perfect harmony. Thank you for sharing this.
What incredible footage.. and so interesting to see whales and Orcas feeding alongside each other.. thank you so much for sharing such an amazing experience with us 🥰🥰
I've just seen and amazed at the same thought 😉
@@FTM1fenn indeed! I binge watched every video last night - the stunning imagery just blows you away - it's breathtaking x
I thought the same thing. Never New they were fishing buddies.
@@tessaburkhamer3856 Residential Orcas are quite popular among other cetaceans.
@@RubyCarrots3232 What a wonderful collaboration among species.
I’m so jealous. Wish I was there . Love orcas
Why can't I stop my tears watching this
When you read the title as Driving with 50 orcas in Norway and confused about the mustache guy driving the van...
What an amazing sight, orca and whales, both are on my bucket list to see. Beautiful scenes, wow, so many in one spot fishing all together😊
Tell SeaWorld this: GO TO HELL!!
First five and a half minutes are driving to the dock then introductions to crew.
5:35 on the ocean
6:33 humpbacks, underwater shots
8:27 Orcas arrive, but “dive” shots start at 9:10 in an eleven minute long video, you’re welcome.
Thanks for the heads up. I have a very short attention span.
Thank you
😊 Thanks appreciate it

❤heartbreakingly beautiful! What an honor to have witnessed this !
Dear lord I've never seen so many orca together..it's like a dream ..look they open their mouth the fish just float in ..incredible to see
well like....those fish are dead or dying. i didnt watch the whole video. but it looks like those are ones that slipped through the net and are dying as a result. the whales are basically scavenging like the seagulls are. but if you look close the fish are all swimming sideways and stuff, they got damaged by the net....
I was so frightened to see the orcas arrive I thought they were going to hunt the calf but no they were feeding alongside each other. Amazing. We need to protect our ocean inhabitants at all costs. Wildlife before profit!❤
Orcas and Humpback this must have been an incredible dive!
Magnifique!!! Merci Didier,
It would really be a privelege to see Orcas! True exploration is not the land it covers but the journey it inspires!
What a beautiful sight to behold, absolutely amazing!
Now we know what "0rcha rave" looks like! Thx for sharing.
Images absolument incroyables !
That was sooo incredible!!!!! You are all amazing. Don't stop what you are doing. Your work is breathtaking!
I ll do my best!
@@DidierNoirot could you tell the people, that the fishing vessel is actually stealing the food of the whales and that its really sad, that the wild animals have to feed on the few left fishes that fell out of the fishing net?
I'm so glad you were able to do this before humans once again selfishly stepped in to ruin everything. May the good hearted humans one day be free to explore their planet as it was always meant to be
How surreal…. Wow, thank you for sharing. Your experience is priceless. You’re so blessed.
Beautiful! So jealous 😩
Beautiful❤The harmony of just eating small fish and no blood splattered around and all.
Its like a Dream when you’re down there

Orcas, birds, whales, fishing boats. Spot the odd one out. Beautiful film😊
Boats are machines and birds are theropod dinosaurs. But the fish are the oldest of the lot.

Super video Didier!!!
Excellent video! Thank you so much to the team for your effort.
I always thought orcas hunted whales on sight, so it is amazing to see them swimming peacefully near each other!
Maybe because there are enough fish

Merci, that was one of the coolest videos I've ever seen and I'm 52, that was outstanding, I'm very moved even seeing it on video, it must have been awe inspiring to have been filming that, what a fuckin buzz, cheers folks 😂
20 years ago, after he swam 900 miles from Iceland, Keiko the orca dolphin from Free Willy was actually among these groups too. He was often swimming out to hunt between staying in a Norwegian fjord. He first followed a fishing traweler there, since before he was captured Keiko had already learned from his mother that fishing boats mean easier herring to eat than just hunting. All Icelandic orca dolphins do this today. Within an instant, thousands of years of tradition changed!
absolutely incredible
Wonderful!! loved it
