You the best. I started watching you when I had my accord. Have since sold it but your videos are excellent.
Thank you
Thanks for the video, you tell it clear and simple
No problem
I have a 2004 Honda Pilot. This gives me an idea what to look for. Great video thank you so much! ❤
Yeah.. That's the idea....
Great vid. Thanks man.
You are very helpful thank you. Subscribed.
Thanks very much Sr for this video I start working on my granddaughters transmission car and I found you so I take for reference I let you know when I finish but for sure will be good long life to you amigo.(sorry for my English by the way)
No problem
Trying to fix my moms car. It’s stuck in part. I was able to get her car quick fixed and home so hopefully this helps!
Thank you
Bullet there's no rubber seal to worry about, why dont they Leak tranny fluid, thanks for helping me do this on my 2000 accord, its straining when hot to shift smooth into first gear.
i have a 01 honda accord v6.....my d indicater on my dash started blinking now it doesnt go when in drive but reverse works....could that be a solenoid something more serious????.....
Hey I have a 2000 Honda Accord v6 and I have the same problem but for some reason I can’t remove the part theirs something else in the way any tips?
Ay Bullet i hope you can help. I know i have a cylinder 3 misfire and a bad solenoid, not sure which one. Ran codes. When i drive at higher throttle it "hits the rev limiter" at 2-3k rpms sometimes
Vtec solenoid
@bulletsolano Hey brother I need this part for my car I don’t see a link in the description can you tell me which part I can use for my 2002 accord? Also if it is an old engine should I change every transmission solenoid? Also how many transmission pressure switches are there and which ones should I buy I know this is a lot to ask you’re help would be very appreciated!! God bless !!
The main sensors to replace is pressure switch and A and B solenoids
@@BulletSolano I’m going to add you on Instagram so I can ask you some questions my guy if you don’t mind. I love your 2002 Honda and I really would like your advice. My name is young Gilly I’m going to add you ok! My accord needs some love haha
No problem
Thanks Bud I appricate it . I had a feeling that I would have to , As usual you`ve been great ! Again keep up the great work . OOO yeah I have 1 more for you I have a 2005 PT Cruiser Basic Model I just had a lot of work done to it right before winter , Could you tell me if there is something going out as in a switch of something for the reason it uses an awful amount of gas ? And sometimes sitting at a stoplight and you take of it will just stall /die but cranks right back up ?
No problem Doug, Those vehicles can get some electrical issues!!
@@BulletSolano same car had shifting problems and reverse went out and when you go from Park to Reverse it makes a loud grinding noise😩
no reverse
Transmission is gone
Hey Bullet , How ya been ? Hope you and your family are doing well . Doug here , I have a quick question for you about my 2000 Accord . Ok I had to replace the water inlet tube on backside of engine I think last summer and the tab that you bolt to back of engine didn`t line up so I pushed it up till it did and now I can`t seem to keep it from leaking water on the water pump side . Should I buy another one and see if my problem stops ?I think I may have bent it so now it won`t seal off. Any help that you can give would be great , Also keep up the great work on you vids.
Hey Doug doing good thanks, get another one and put some gasket maker to stop the leak
Bullet bro, u know where the solenoid b going in a honda civic 2004 ex, por favor
Está localizado en la parte de enfrente de la transmisión y es la que viene con doble solenoide A y B no es sencilla, es fácil de ver por qué el la doble
Thanks so much for the video. I have a question I hope you could help me with as no one has been able to answer it. My Accord Euro 06 has had a transmission issue the last 3 months. In D (automatic) it will not shift gears and will just rev when presssing accelerator. Only when I go into manual shift (M), I move from gears 1, to 2, and then it will finally drive on gear 3 when I move it through the M gears. So I assume the problem is with gears 2 and maybe 1 as they rev a lot when I press the accelerator but don’t change gears. Which solenoid should I try changing to see if the issue is resolved?
Thanks
I don’t know those euro cars, but if you have the same transmission replace A-B solenoid and replace the transmission fluid
@@BulletSolano Noted, thanks!
@@BulletSolano hey, I spoke to Honda and they said there is no A-B solenoid, but either the single “A” solenoid, or a double “B” solenoid. Does this sound right? Which one should I replace?
@@BulletSolano Sorry for the bump, any idea regarding my previous comment? 🙂
Hey man like I told you I don’t know your car because is from Europe, you should remove both and clean them and tested them
Nice work, please what happens to the old solenoid?
Trash
I got a P1773 on a 1999 honda accord V tech and my car drives in all gears but D3 and D4 are sluggish on accelerating power. Could the solenoid B be causing this?
Probably, check the transmission fluid, if dark replaced it, and the solenoid B as well, if that doesn’t fixed it most likely the transmission is on the way out
I have a 99 Accord V6 I had p0758 code. I ended up replacing all the solenoids. All four, but I still have the code. I’m wondering if it’s a wiring issue. Is there an easier way to figuring this out?
Transmission torque converter is probably bad
Would one of those solenoids being dirty or course the car to sometimes feel like it's starting in 3rd gear?
Sometimes my car seams to slowly accelerate like your taking off in the wrong gear
Probably your transmission is on her last leg
Is this actually shift Solenoid A or B? According to Honda Parts websites, there is nothing called Solenoid C, only A & B (which is equivalent to what you are referring to as B & C in here). Thanks for this excellent video.
amzn.to/452GNDy
I have a code p0763 shift solenoid 3 ckt electrical, I checked the solenoids and changed the transmission fluid, however, it still stall in drive 4, but runs 1, 2, and 3
Sounds like internal damage
Mine won't stall in 4, but i do have a rev limiter that hits. Is that what you mean?
What about the 2nd and 3rd gear pressure solenoids? What could be causing my 2002 4 cylinder accord to slip between 1st and second gear, but no check engine light? Which soleniod would cause that?
Could be the pressure switch or your transmission is on the way out
Same problem here
Same damn problem
@@Vloggingwit_Q I switched both sensors and the selonoids and fluid change I'm back on the road. Good luck
Whereis the pressure switch?
Hey! I have a 2001 Honda Accord LX and it’s jerking hard when i come to a stop. Could it be the solenoids that need to be replaced?
Scan the vehicle for codes first, if everything is ok, check for vacuum leaks
Question I have same car automatic I get off and on ruff shift kinda mild slam when I shift into reverse all other gears work smooth. The problem is not dirty fluid or level since I do change it out every 15K so fluid is pretty clean. Was thinking of changimg out solenoids, but not exactly sure which one controls the reverse. Is the Duel Linear Shift the correct one or you think it might be a sensor? If it's internal then it's a wash. Thanks bro
Replace pressure switch if that doesn’t help, is just matter of time to get a new transmission
@@BulletSolano Cool I was thinking the same I'm getting both the switches since again I do not know which one works with the Reverse I'm assuming it's the light green one that sits sorta under the Vtec Solenoid in the tranny. Anyhow appreciate your videos. Not sure if I commented on the video how to clean your seat belts, but I power washed 20 years of grime off them suckers so thanks 👍🙌
No problem bud
Hi, I have 2012 Honda Accord EX-L V6. I have transmission problems with shifting, the D light is flashing and my check engine light is on. The code says P1743 shift error K and P1780 shift control system ( Transmission Default Mode )
Do you know what that could be?
www.engine-codes.com/p1743.html
Hey bullet,
Quick question brother, I got 01 accord, when I put into drive it sometimes goes and sometimes doesn’t reverse is working fine.Could this shift solenoid replacement fix it or could it be my transmission gave out already?
Hey bro, scanned it for codes first, and go from there
Thanks, will do.
Flashing d4 and check engine? Unplugged battery and drove some to see if it would come back on so far it hasn't. Still rough shifting 1st and 2nd. Solenoid or new transmission? Also if a new transmission could you give a rough estimate on a rebuilt?(ballpark)
2002 Honda Accord 4 cylinder
Probably new transmission, around $1300 rebuilt
@@BulletSolano is that just the transmission or would that be with labor? Is it terribly hard to replace it yourself? Also thanks for the reply and videos brother.
Super easy with the right tools, $1300 with labor
@@BulletSolanoawesome thanks for the info bro I was afraid I was looking at like a 2500$ job
Been getting that 2200 , 2500 price tag ona re biuld I’m in California I can meet with my car please help .
What kind of transmission fluid and motor oil needs my 244000km Accord 99 V6 sedan? Thanks in advance
Honda transmisión fluid, motor oil, what’s on your oil cap
Sir, will this be the same for a 1998 Acura Integra?
Yes, should be the same
Hi have a question about the solenoid. If it is bad will it make your gear shift stuck in park and wont turn over . My friends car we stopped at a store he turned off the car and then it wouldn't crank /turn over then noticed gear shifter was stuck in park we used the release but didn't help any idea what could be wrong. Please help
Range sensor is probably bad
ruclips.net/video/RfkMymWSJhQ/видео.html
That’s you’re range neutral safety sensor
Got a Honda Accord 2002 ex coupe. It doesn’t shift correctly and for some reason it wants to die if I push brake down while it’s in first gear
Clean A-B solenoids and pressure switch, replace transmission fluid, and check for vacuum leaks
Hi Bullet, do you know where is the filter of the automatic transmition. I was told there is a filter inside and it needs to be changed when you change the transmition oil. Is that true? thanks for your info!
Hi, Not true, you have to remove the transmission to get access to it, but if you rebuild the transmission yes you have the replace it
There’s a transmission filter on honda accord 2004 v6 located under the air box beside the car battery
I have a 02 accord 2.3 engine the trans Want pull when Trans gets hot
Scan for codes
when make that noise doesn't mint is good you have to check if the metal think is moving up and down
Why does the transmission sometimes jerk 2001 Honda Accord lx. 4 cylinder 2.3L
Probably going bad
I have a 1999 honda prelude automatic and it’s shooting P0730 how do I fix that? It’s sayin my gear ratio is off. It’s not shifting correctly. Any advice?
An internal transmission problem almost always causes it. Although, P0730 will appear if the transmission fluid is low or dirty.
Today I drove it to the transmission shop and they test drove it and something in between my torque converter and flexplate sound like rattling loud not sure what that might be?
What about solenoid A? Where is it located? I may have to replace solenoid A on my V6

Hi my car has about 250k & its giving me trouble going into 2nd gear the d light starts to flash. I have changed the pressure switches it helped for a while now the issue is back. Do you think it's solenoids or needs a new transmission?
You need a new transmission
So I shouldn't even try replacing the solenoid lock up and solenoid b & c?
P0700 & p0780 are the two codes that come up. It's a 2002 honda accord 2.3
You can try and replace the transmission fluid as well
Hi i got the same car and i also fix it after i see this video thanks very mich now i have another problem now. The a/cclimated control sometime it works sometime it dosent wor and sometimes the lights start flashing and it make the car to turn off. Any sugerstions??
The A/C controls are bad, you need to replace it ruclips.net/video/V-1MdYMTYiY/видео.html
for replacement b and c solenoids, how do you know the difference? i got them, the part number is different, but they put them in the same back, so i don't know
One conector is black the other is brown, match them with the ones in the car
@@BulletSolano thanks bro, i appreciate it. it's awesome that you're so responsive to your viewers!
i got my starter out, already, fixing to put them in friday. along w (hopefully) cleaning the screens on the linear solenoid.
one last question tho..is there a torque spec for the fasteners on these?
Hello Bro,
Please I have issues with my Accord 2002. The car while driving suddenly stops moving while still in drive position. The engine is steaming, the drive light on the dashboard is still showing but the car can't move forward but can reverse very well. If I off the car, wait about 20 minutes, start and put on drive, it moves but stops again at about 10km. Please what is the issue. Thank you
You have to many issues! Take it to a shop, if you can’t, check for engine codes and start from there
Bullet really hope you get this message, so I got codes for A,B an C replaced all 3 buuuut my ride goes into park, reverse an maybe 4th gear because it goes forward like I have the emergency break on, no I checked, what's next brotha???
I well like to be your camera man 😁👍would be cool !!!
Thanks

I already changed all the sensors for the transmission. And did a transmission fluid change. But my d4 is still flashing and my transmission feels like it slips between gears. Moves back and forward when moving. What can I do ?
Sorry to tell you but the transmission is gone
@BulletSolano thank you so much , I thought so too. Great video.
I can't remove solenoid C , is it possible to get stuck? I removed the 10m bolt, unplugged it but I couldn't remove it!!
You have to pull on it
Bro I need your help my car is shifting funny when I first start the car it's just fine until it needs to access gear 4 then it goes in the limp mode and I have to turn the car off and back on to reset but it just does it again can you help
Look for codes, if you have a code about gear ratio your transmission is done
@@BulletSolano for the the life of me I think it's a solenoid. When I disconnect the one u can see standing in front of the car reverse doesn't disappear. Ordered that solenoid I'll keep u posted
@corey any updates on it?
How did u know your solenoid was bad? How was the car behaving
Like I said on the video, someone requested this installation, my solenoid is in good condition but if you have problems when the car is shifting gears remove both solenoids check the resistance and check to see if the solenoid is making that clicking sound, if not replace both B and C solenoids
Hey amigo. What does those two solenoids do exactly for the transmission? What would even be the purpose of changing those out if you can explain
Hey, those solenoids control the shifts on the transmission, if you have a code replaced them, but most of the times in Hondas the transmission goes bad before the solenoids do
Are these solenoids just plug and play, or do they need to be programmed in by some fancy scan tool? I heard that the crankshaft position sensor requires recalibration
Plug and play
@@BulletSolano do you know if that's also true for the linear solenoid and the lockup solenoid?
Yes
@@BulletSolano thanks
He way is my 2002 Honda Accord 4cly stopping at stops and was very low idle shutting off
Any codes?

P0758
Please explain the function of each solenoid.
Your transmission solenoid is a key part of your transmission - this solenoid is an electro-hydraulic valve that is in charge of controlling the amount of fluid flowing into and out of the automatic transmission in your vehicle. The solenoids can either be normally open or closed, depending on the control of the fluid. The solenoid operates via a voltage or a current that is supplied by the transmission computer or the electronic control module. The transmission solenoids are usually located within the valve body, the transmission control unit, or the transmission control module.
The transmission control unit is a device that controls the automatic transmission, and can use sensors to calculate the inner workings of each electrical part in your vehicle. If your transmission is not working correctly and you are having trouble with the performance of your vehicle, this can usually be attributed to the symptoms of a bad transmission solenoid.
@@BulletSolano awesome thanks! What I've been experiencing is a hesitation in shifting into gear after I give it gas. Sometimes I feel the transmission abruptly jerk into gear. I figure it's got something to do with the solenoids . I just wasn't sure which one to focus my attention on.
No problem
@@justoneman1318 That's my problem, too, on my '02 Accord 4 cylinder. It happens when I'm just taking off from a stop. It jerks into gear abruptly. Doesn't happen at any other speeds. Did you fix it, and how?
@@SiteReader have you looked at your motor mounts?
If anyone can't get the top solenoid off, (if you are replacing, likely to damage old solenoid) use a prybar from underneath the car, i had to
Looks like the same transmission as the 99 crv
