    This was a fantastic practice, Tim. Thank you for the great sequence of poses for strength, grounding, and peace within. I love that you don't have music, by the way. Many yoga channels have music, which I find distracting. I love the serenity of just the voice. Much more relaxing. 😌 🙏 ❤

      Uttanasana to Savasana is an ok way to end a practice but you can also try the full version on the CMC: www.timsenesiyoga.com/consciousmovement where there is more time to finish with deep stretches and cool-down poses. 30 minutes just isn't really enough time for a complete yoga practice.

      There’s a book that argues that’s where they got the idea for the Krisnamacharya version of a sun salutation from… watching British soldiers do burpees

    Thanks, Tim! Question: During the core warmup, I have a ton of tension in my neck. Any suggestions for alleviating that discomfort or strengthening so I can enjoy the core workout more? Today I just released the neck and laid my head down.

      That’s a great way to modify. As you core gets strong through regular practice your overactive neck muscles won’t try to take over.

    Great flow Tim! Your daily practice is the best part of my day. I noticed that the edit from the final pose to your namaste was fishy. Was there something after the forward fold?

    Really loved the traditional practice. But, the end went from a fold and then cut right to Namaste. Other than that, this will be a regular of mine. Thanks.

      Hey Jeff. Uttanasana is an ok way to end a class before taking Savasana, but if you prefer more seated stretches and a longer cooldown you can click the link in the description to try the full class on the CMC. If you’re not signed up for the CMC, click here:

    Oh I love the more traditional practice, however the end came a bit suddenly 😅I guess the video was cut here for the longer conscious movement community?

      Correct. If you’re looking for a total practice I strongly recommend working in the CMC classes at least 2x a week if you really want to progress in yoga asana/have a complete practice. 30 minutes is a good supplement when your rushed, but is not enough IMO/experience

      In fact my in person group classes were 1.5 hours for years and people were very upset when the studio changed the classes to 60 minutes saying it simply was not enough time for a balanced class. I learned to adapt and get most of the practice in 60 minutes, but 30 is impossible.

    The silent periods leave me wondering what we're supposed to be doing. It would be great if you can provide some guidance like "take 5 breaths" or "stay here for 20 seconds" or whatever. Thank you 🙏

      Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it. Regular students felt like after having done my beginners series and 30 day challenges that they no longer needed these basic instructions and were requesting more silence. So about 6 months ago I started to honor that more. Have you completed these courses yet? Maybe others can chime in below on their feelings if they have completed these courses 👇

    Tim: sun salutations are traditionally done until you start sweating.

    Great varied practice until the very abrupt end. One moment we're in forward fold gorilla pose, then suddenly instructor is seated and saying thank you. Felt like -- 30 minutes are up, time to go. Appreciated the link to a guided sivasana video to gt back into the "zone." Otherwise, great class.

    I was disappointed with the ending there was no warning that we were going into easy pose and then done. I’ll do a little supine stretches before I end.
