this is the ulanzi 65mm tele lens review this lens for the money is an absolute bargain, and performance is brilliant, I haven't had any issues with this lens and the I'm age quality I have been getting from this lens has been spot on !

Great review! I was thinking of buying this for my short films but not being able to mount ND filters is a huge downside. Hopefully a new version comes out with that addition.

Just bought this Lena off amazon. First look is that the build quality is amazing and is fits very well with the ulanzi case. It also has top notch Lens flares. It’s a great lens

Great shots! I'm diggin' what Ulanzi is doing. I've been holding off from going Sandmarc on the lenses. I've been crossing my fingers that Ulanzi would release a filter mount or thread them for mounting filters. From my perspective Ulanzi would become a market leader just by adding that feature.
I would be "going all in" on rebuilding my kit around Ulanzi. It would be nice if Ulanzi also had nice travel box that holds multiple lenses and their DOF. A "Go Box" per se. Something that stacks the lenses on their side to be able to see what they are.
Cheers for the feedback much appreciated 👍🏼 I’m going to get the sand Marc lenses as soon as they release them for the iPhone 11pro I think out of all the company’s I have seen and used they look like they are perfect for me personally the ulanzi lenses are good for the money but without being able to mount filters on there etc they aren’t quite there yet, definitely looking forward to seeing what they bring out in the future tho 👌🏼

@@rickyeverett I'm using an iPhone XR. Even with the iPhone 11 out and the iPhone 12 on the horizon I'm going to stick with the XR because I like to show people that getting great photos is far more about learning photography than having the latest device.
I have purchased the Ulanzi's G2 anamorphic lens and so far I find the quality to be super. With that said, I want the telephoto lens as well but I am having trouble trying to find a way to adapt a ND filter to it. (52mm Tiffen) Sort of useless without it. Any recommendations?

Unfortunately not you will have to get some adapters in order to make it work, it’s definitely possible tho 👍🏼

Looks like you tested the lens on the iPhone’s normal wide angle camera (the top one). Did you try it on the iPhone’s tele camera (the bottom one)? Result?
Hi yes tested it on there but the image quality from the phones Tele just isn’t that great very noisy and I would want to have to de-niose every shot 😭

Doesn't the Ulanzi filter mount for their Anamorphic lense work?
unfortunately not as the anamorphic lens filter mount is a rectangle shape not round 😩
Great review! One question : does the clip work even with other phone cases? Assuming I have the regular thin clear case, iPhone X, will the clip fit? TIA!
Shaela Le Blanc hi thanks, yeah the clip will fit but you will always get better results using it without a case, having the case on there may cause so vignetting but you might get lucky depending on what lens your attaching and it will be fine, hope this helps 👍🏼

Zero Point Productions yes works on the Tele lens but you will need a real steady hand for that lol tripod would be best 👍🏼

I haven’t used moments lenses yet but in terms of sharpness it’s very good will be making some comparisons of Tele lenses soon 👍🏼

eightlegsfreak no I wouldn’t suggest using this with portrait mode doesn’t work very well just using the lens without portrait mode looks good enough plus you are getting proper bokeh with the lens not software bokeh
On iPhone you can’t because iPhone uses two cameras to create portrait effect and this lens covers one. On the Pixel phone however, it can create bookeh because it uses only one camera.

Ricky Everett In 240fps I’m assuming... any software stabilization?
OminousPotato in 120fps and I didn’t add any software stabilization in this video I was just using fluid movements and whipping in and out of the shots 👍🏻
