    Thank you Adam Bandt for speaking up for free speech and the right to mercilessly troll Governments ✊🇦🇺 This legend read out the entire script of two of our Honest Government Ads in Parliament, which is the best thing I've seen on the Internet in a while. He clearly knows how to troll the Government, too 😂 Jokes aside, it's a kickass speech and well worth listening to in full 🔥

      All the way with you with free speech mate, there should be a stronger protection for it in Australia, like America with their constitution. It seems everyone in parliament these days is trying to find ways to police other people's thoughts, from 'genuine satire' from the right wing to 18c from the left, it's so stupid.

      @AgainstTheSystem .ATS that's not really how it works. NK really is an authoritarian shithole... but we must understand and acknowledge the context of a "revolutionary government", which is the political structure of most socialist states on the world stage. Basically, such a nation is at war with (Western) capitalism, "the bourgeoisie", etc, and thus the rules of war are considered fair game and good governance. I can't really say whether or not this martial law would _definitely_ persist into the glorious socialist future, following the true victory of the proletariat, because we have no hard data on that; capitalism has not been and probably never will be destroyed.

    It's December 2020 and this just appeared among my RUclips recommendations. I'm really curious if the bill passed.
    Of course if it had, The Juice Media videos would probably include a joke where the the spokesmodels would say that they aren't really from the government and that would be the best joke in the video.

    • @xenuno
      @xenuno 3 года назад

      The bill did pass apparently but excluded “Australians who do this 'solely for genuine satirical, academic or artistic purposes'. So the remnant passed is nothing more than a duplication of existing (I assume) fraud penalties from what I've read. I think Australia needs a revolution as does the US.

      The problem is the good souls in Aus politics often align themselves with the more humanitarian parties (i.e. the Greens), who are vilified by the conservative media (owned by Rupert Murdoch) with such propaganda that those who are less educated or who have less of a propensity or capability for logical reasoning and morality (such as is evidenced by Donald Clark's response here) seem to think that anything these parties or individuals advocate for can't possibly be in the interests of the Australian people, despite all evidence and rationality pointing to the contrary.

    • @Ashmanchan10
      @Ashmanchan10 6 лет назад +4

      @Donald Clark Zero return from Milne? You're delusional. Hanson-Young is a fine politician and what are you saying, that it's her fault men act like pigs? The Greens are the least likely to flip-flop on policies out of all the parties, and unlike the major two actually stand by their principles.
      Open borders is not even nearly as unsustainable as what it's costing to lock men, women and children up in offshore detention - which is, by the way, a purely political move to appease the vast numbers of racists in this country. It would cost far less to allow refugees into the country and give them a chance to work.

    • @Ashmanchan10
      @Ashmanchan10 6 лет назад +5

      @Donald Clark Just because you don't experience something yourself, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Sexism in politics is a huge problem that is gradually getting better thanks to initiatives by progressives such as Hanson-Young.
      Regression into ad. hom. attacks means your rationality is being blinded by your emotions. Try taking a few deep breaths before your next debate. And fyi, I've lived in rural and outback places most of my life.

I dont think Australia has ever really had a government. Unfortunately we have turned into a police state socialism and before long will probably turn into a communism - something my grandfather courageously fought back in the day in a war to try to prevent.
    It is true that it will only be single brave individuals and small brave groups who will be the catalyst for positive change. I just hope these "little people and small groups" will find the courage and strength to bring these positive changes we desperately need.
