- Ready for a spicy adventure? We recently took a trip to the heart of Ethiopia to explore the famous Berbere spice. We're talking about the real deal - the kind you find in local homes, not tourist shops. We spent time with a local family, learning their traditional methods of preparing Berbere. It was a hands-on experience that was totally eye-opening! We even got to help grind the spices, which was surprisingly therapeutic. We also cooked up some delicious Ethiopian dishes using our freshly ground Berbere. Trust us, your taste buds are in for a treat. We tried everything from Shiro, a savory chickpea stew, to injera, the spongy flatbread that's a staple in Ethiopian cuisine. After that, we hit the Shola market to find even more spice goodness. We tasted different Berbere blends, chatted with local vendors, and even bought some to take home. So, come along on this culinary journey with us and discover the magic of Ethiopian spices!

Well that was interesting..one thing I will say about the "Jo's" we sure get a very wide ranging look at different Countries . They sure cover everything to give a complete experience. I am not a spice eating person although in the food my wife cooks there would be spices. Chilies are a no no for me. Just seeing how those beautiful people and what they do and the way they live is a joy to me...Thanks Jo's. I really enjoyed the tour...What's next?
