      @domtweed7323 Месяц назад +16

      @@tonydynamite3748 For a developed country you need roughly 500-1,000MW of power per million people. There are 123 million Ethiopians, so ideally they'd want about 100,000MW of electricity generating capacity. This dam provides 6% of that.
      If Ethiopia developed all its hydro potential it would have 45,000MW of generating capacity, or about 45% of the electricity it needs.
      So the real value of this project isn't in the amount of power it produces, but that it provides dispatchable power that can be combined with intermittent wind/solar in future.

While Ethiopians are struggling with problems, hunger and conflicts, those who take the water from this poor country have laughed at Ethiopians and even their history books do not mention that the Blue Nile comes from Ethiopia. Their disregard to Ethiopians is endless. These Arabs supported by the Europeans have killed the Ethiopians for a thousand years. The Ethiopians have nothing to fear anymore. They have been killed, neglected and starved to death by the international community. If Egypt tries to attack the Ethiopians, there will be no more Egypt. God will change the course of history.

    ON THE "CONCERN" OVER THE NILE WATER
    SHARING BETWEEN ETHIOPIA AND EGYPT -
    Had the Ethiopian landscape been as desolate desert as Egypt is, and had the dam
    been primarily meant for irrigation purposes, there could have been some legitimate concern
    from the Egyptian part (on equitable distribution and such other competition on the amount of water they could use). BUT IT IS FOR HYDROELECTRIC POWER - that means that after generating power, the same amount of water will return to the river course to continue its natural flow to the north -
    so, the Egyptian whining over Ethiopia's building of dam on the Nile is groundless and stupid.

The arthitecs were colonials who planed large agriculture. They managed to silence ethiopia and unable to use its water. They monopolized it by funding insurgents and mobilizing one tribe against another. They succeeded the create instability in every direction. They managed by helping the selfish leaders who did not care about the vast majority to live decent life come to power. But now a leader that is stands for the vast majority came and that created their insecurities

    The Abyssinian Dam, which is falsely called the Renaissance Dam, is a control project that is rejected by all international agreements related to such projects on the water course. Ethiopia recently signed the Entebbe Agreement alone, and it was not enough to establish a control dam to control all the waters of the Nile and waste Egypt’s right to its share of the water. It ignored Ethiopia. The disruption of the environmental system in the Mediterranean Sea, which affected the degree of its salinity, as well as the appearance of bottomless fish that cannot be eaten, and caused the death of tons of fish, in addition to the slides, tectonic movements, and earthquakes that occurred because of this dam, the dam of control. The world must take action because this dam, with all that it causes It also increases the rift that divides two continents along Ethiopia, and it is possible that all of this part will be separated from Africa, as Madagascar was separated before. Is the world aware of the extent of the devastation caused by this dam, which was never intended to generate electricity or any process of renaissance, but rather Its only reason was withholding water from Egypt and tightening water control with a control dam. This is all it does: it paralyzes 110 million Egyptian citizens and threatens drowning for all the Sudanese and Egyptian people if there is a sudden demolition of the dam, which was built on unsuitable soil and the safety factor is almost non-existent. Look at the disaster further. Therefore, the Egyptians will have less than 17 days to leave Egypt if the control dam explodes, so where will they go? I leave you to think and respond. If the world does not intervene and stand by Egypt in this crisis, disasters will affect all neighboring countries and the countries of the Mediterranean.

      Do you think that a country like Ethiopia has influence!!! You and the most important Ethiopia are just a tool in the hands of the Zionist entity to fulfill Isaiah’s prophecy in denying water to the Egyptians or drowning them if the dam collapses. What did Ethiopia do with the dam? Hadel was able to generate electricity? The answer is no, and you will not be able to use it to generate electricity due to the amount of deposited mud that stops the turbines from working. Did Ethiopia benefit from it as fresh water? The answer is no, because the amount of rain on Ethiopia is sufficient and increasing, but the dam built on soil that is not suitable for this type of dam caused strong earthquakes that caused collapses in which more than 250 Ethiopians died. Where is the renaissance? Where is the influence? Then there is the 1904 treaty prohibiting the construction of dams on the course of the Nile except with the approval of Egypt and Sudan. Did Ethiopia respect this international treaty? No, the dam will collapse and it will be a disaster for Ethiopia itself.

    All our internal problems past and present were because of the Abay since time immeorial.A certain rebel group in the country is either organized or backed and strongly supported in arms supply and finance including diplomatic mainly by the Egyptians. Once the rebel group attains what it aspires and come to power it will obviosly will start conflict of interest with Egypt.As almost all rebel groups come to power they start their dirty action on the nation mainly ethnic and religious, other rebel groups sprout and get similar support from Egypt that is devastating the country both economically,socially and politicaly.Direct attack from Egypt I think is impossibe because they have lessons in the past. GURAE AND GUNDET can be cited as an exmple. This is how the common people in the country understand it and it is true.
