"dodge says this will compete with hot hatches such as a mini cooper JCW. the one thing this as that those don't is ground clearance" so it has the one thing the is the key difference between a hot hatch a sub compact crossover but yet still competes with them? does a dodge ram compete with a ford maverick because they both have a bed despite being completely different vehicle classes with different uses? sure maybe people will step into a hornet instead of a mini cooper but please don't kid yourself that that buyer is getting this because it has equal sporting prowess in a more practical size. They go on to say that its the fastest suv under 30k?? is it the slowest hot hatch under 30k so they had to compare to the actual competitors??

I knew it.
Only Dodge can release an all new Dodge and have it be an Alfa which in itself was a Jeep.. Front end looks very awkward, but the rear end looks great. Not a fan of that ZF 9 speed auto at all. My only real concern about this product
I dont care for the shape of the glass of the rear door and the front end seems extremely bland. But i like the concept behind the car.
"dodge says this will compete with hot hatches such as a mini cooper JCW. the one thing this as that those don't is ground clearance"
so it has the one thing the is the key difference between a hot hatch a sub compact crossover but yet still competes with them? does a dodge ram compete with a ford maverick because they both have a bed despite being completely different vehicle classes with different uses? sure maybe people will step into a hornet instead of a mini cooper but please don't kid yourself that that buyer is getting this because it has equal sporting prowess in a more practical size. They go on to say that its the fastest suv under 30k?? is it the slowest hot hatch under 30k so they had to compare to the actual competitors??
Well I will not be trading my Challenger for this, I'll say that much. I feel like this will have the same reputation as the Journey or Compass given a few years.
Dude if dodge just wood have made a straight up wagon like there old Magnum wagon maybe with the Stelvio engine ooooohhh sold!🧠🤯🔫
Expected Reliability?
A turbo i4 getting low 20mpg is rather sad
If anyone tries to sell you a car based on the phrase "It's based off of Alpha Romero" run away.
I'd much rather buy this turd for 40k than a lightly used scat pack for sure.
Track pack + ground clearance... 😑
How tall are you Brian? Always reference your height when giving rear seat leg room comfort when front seat adjusted to your liking. Thanks
He mentioned early in the vid: 5’9”
Alfa did it better.
- would be something if- 6months later Dodge figure a way to stuff a 392 in that 🤣
What's crazy about it? It's a rebadged Alfa Romeo crossover/SUV.
Maybe you want to finish watching the video before commenting 🤔
Just like the Supra is a rebadged bmw. What’s your point
@@naveenthemachine Yet another "not crazy" car. It's a rebadged BMW with an exterior styling upgrade.
@@IAmAPhan Which part is relevant?
@@goncalo33 if you viewed it and saw nothing significant then that's you. But judging a video title within the first 2minutes of finished upload, is ridiculously inane.
The Alfa is a far better looking car and I'd rather have the Alfa branding as well. I don't know the pricing differences but unless the Dodge is considerably cheaper, I don't see any reason to choose it over the Alfa.
It is considerably cheaper and the Alfa lacks the regular engine option.
I predict a lot of issues with this vehicle
No regular hybrid, so no sale for me
Feast your eyes on the new Alfa Romeo Hornet. Not the only jeep product built by Alfa Romeo. All ready know of a couple Renegades at a Dodge, Jeep, Ram dealership they can’t repair. Not able to get parts thru Stellantis. Dealer is being threatened with lawsuits. So sad to see the poor quality offered. This is a vehicle being sold with a 1.3 liter turbocharged motor. Pushed so hard it will not last
