116,000 miles on my 1.4 multi air inside a Jeep Renegade. Zero problems. I admit to being a maintenance freak. Oil and filter every 5000 miles. 5w40 as specified. New air filter every 30,000 miles. New transmission, PTU, and rear end oil every 50,000 miles. I find a direct correlation between good maintenance and long usage of vehicles. I usually get 300,000 miles out of my vehicles.
It's great that you're a maintenance freak, but could you imagine if you applied that level of maintenance to a non-Jeep/Fiat product? Your grandchildren would end up driving it.
I rented a renegade once... 5 minutes into driving it had to turn back and talk to hertz. Thought it was broken. They ended up telling me that that's just how it drives. I swore off jeep from that point on.

Transmission is impeccably smooth. It never draws attention to itself - just does the job competently. 6. Acceleration is smooth, but there is a very harsh vibration/resonance while idling in gear. I was stuck in traffic for an hour recently, and the vibration was maddening. 7. No good exhaust noises, but some bad exhaust noises are present when the engine is charging the battery . (Sounds like a portable gas generator in the hatch area.) Overall impression - Not a terrible car, but I was very glad to give it back after the rental.
@@CountryCarReviews Aisin Transmission.. probably the only part that won't fail.. If you just got to have one .. cause you love it.. Lease it for 2 years.. and repeat.
For real... I'm looking at cars to buy as my current vehicle is at 77k miles and I saw these sitting at dealerships, brand new, over a yea on the lot and 25% taken off the MSRP. Funny thing is I have never seen one on the road, i had no idea this even existed until i started shopping for deals. I would rather buy a Toyota Crown for this money and have peace of mind and quality. Nobody is buying those either.
Having simple, well placed physical buttons for heater operation is smart. Some friends with all touch screen controls complain about the lack of heater control buttons and that the touch screen is far too distracting to use while driving.
I own a Hornet PHEV. So far I've only put about 5k miles on it. Did buy a 100k warranty for some peace of mind. I'm 100% happy with mine! Very nice car to drive. No quality issues as of yet. It's been in the single digits the past week that hasn't phased the Hornet at all.
I currently am leasing one of the RT plus models. Not seeing how it's so hated yet at least. Runs and drives great. Cool technology and good acceleration if I want to have fun. I would love for this thing to prove all the haters wrong. We'll see.
Agreed, but I'd go with the GT. Don't see the benefits of the RT after much study. Some aftermarket parts could help this too. Comes with nice tires also.
Since 2011 I have had cars with a very similar engine...The 1.4l Multiair. 4 different cars, over 150000 miles on 2 of them. Normal maintenance only. The one I currently own has over 160000 miles, no oil usage, no problems, over 31mpg average and plenty enough power. So yes, it works.
I love my 2014 Dodge Dart SXT! Runs great with no problems! I want Dodge to survive! The only problem with the Dodge Hornet is its too expensive starting price! Outside of that it is a great vehicle in my estimation! ***Please note that the American Auto Industry is in dire straits currently like most things in the economy due to the Biden Administration! New Green Deal EV Electric Car MANDATES by Joe Biden has been the culprit! EVs are not the answer!
@@johnbeckham1483 The prices of these vehicles has NOTHING to do with the Biden administration ! The chain of supply was disrupted & many parts for autos were hard to get. The manufacturers adjusted the prices & so far have not come down. Eventually EVs will become more of a Nationwide thing. Right now its California that has an existing charging structure to make those vehicles work in that State. For all other States EVs are not really a good option. The environment has become less stabile because of carbon based fuel effecting the O Zone Layer. When the grid is upgraded the EV charging stations will increase. Battery technology will advance. There will be less Dodge Darts around our planet !
The O-rings can go bad in the 2.0L Mutli-Air system Multi-air unit causing the engine to run badly (since obviously the air metering will be all wrong without a functional Multi-Air system). The O-rings are of poor quality. It's not a big deal, but expensive if the dealer quotes a new Multi-Air unit instead of just the O-rings.
The only reason most people gave Dodge a glance was because of their muscle cars. Since they're no longer being produced, I don't see the brand doing well in the next few years.
@@alsheremeta Relax, they are no where near that expensive, more like $67k. Still expensive, but pretty much any well equipped hybrid isn't going to be cheap.
I just love that Stellantis is either not afraid or clueless about what kind of reviewer AMD is. The French, Italian, the North America's engineer departments should be proud of how much complicated their hybrid system is.
Love all the reviews, this one was phenomenal as always. I've never seen you do a Chevy but I'd love if you'd review the new 24' Traverse. They've redesigned completely, now with a 2.5 turbo and updated transmission. They've had a nightmare history of their outgoing 9-speed and now a 2.5 in such a big truck is very interesting choice. Who knows what's happening under the chassis with the dual clutch and other mods in the Z71. They're asking a lot of money for it, curious if their redesign and higher asking price is great value or smoke & mirrors. Would love to hear your deep technical analysis. Love the reviews you do. Amazing catch here with the dodge using plastic components and curious 2 or 4x drive Thanks you so much for the depth of your reviews. Truly among the best review channels on RUclips ❤

Love your content. I would be interested in seeing you do a "Car Buy Recommendation" video for the 2023 or 2024 year, I think a lot of us viewers would love to see your opinions on "Best in Segment" picks, and why.
Bought my Gold 2024 Hornet GT AWD last August. About $10k cheaper than the Tonale with the same powertrain. Only issue I had & it was fixed under warranty was a bad wiring harness for the dome lights. I get about 25/26mpg driving mostly city. Awesome acceleration & it handles very well.
Same here. Only problem was mis-attached wiring to the rear window defroster, a simple fix under warranty. The Hornet GT is probably the best performing small crossover on the market. It's proof that all crossovers don't have to drive like appliances on wheels (looking at you, Toyota, Honda, Ford, Chevy and Volkswagen).
Thanks as I enjoyed your positive feelings about the Dodge Dart! I also think that the Hornet is really a well engineered car & both sporty & fastest in its class indeed! Oh by the way, I have been enjoying my 2014 Dodge Dart SXT since I bought it used back in 2017! Enjoy your Hornet & I feel as though the Hornet will survive but we have to improve a currently dismal car industry!
The only thing I dont like is the auto and it hesitates when accelerating as if its manual but its not. Now when i want to go fast ohhh IT GOESS FASTT. And i wish it had wayyy better MPG 😢😢😢 i have to put gas every 3 days

Same here. As the reviewer notes, either version of the Hornet results in the best performing vehicle in the segment. But all hybrid vehicles are compromised. They are all a marriage of two different powertrains, one mechanical and one electric, so neither is optimized. On the other hand, the GT model has a reliable and potent 2 litre turbo engine and all wheel drive. As to Alfa Romeo reliability, the reviewer is demonstrating his ignorance of the brand's current build quality. The entire review is a little laughable, actually. I guess it's what's to be expected when a Toyota mechanic "reviews" an Italian car.
@@davidturgeon2087 I have been a Dodge fan since the early 70s & I have been enjoying my 2014 Dodge Dart SXT since I bought it used in 2017! It has been a very reliable car for me indeed! The Dodge Hornet unfortunately is getting some bad & really not warranted negative commentary here! The pricing of the Hornet in my opinion is a bit higher than it probably should be? High prices (inflationary) coupled with a automotive industry that is in limbo at the moment aren't helping the Dodge Hornet here! EV ELECTRIC CAR MANDATES from the Biden Administration have caused the American Automotive Industry to suffer major issues including few sales & 2 to 3 years of excessive lot inventory!
I like the looks of the Dodge Hornet GT! The GT is the model that I prefer due to its simpler gas powered design! Oh by the way I drive a 2014 Dodge Dart SXT & it has been a great car s well!
Lotta people trashing the car but I want to thank you for such an informative and relatively unbiased look at this car. You really go over the mechanics without getting too in depth, and then show reasons to be wary of the drivetrain but also be impressed by it. I really like this car but as a 2 year lease. Have fun for 20k miles and let someone else keep it on life support. If you don't get a lemon and it runs well maybe buy it out and sell a couple years down the line at like 50k miles. For my situation it is a compelling option with a good enough deal.
1.4 multi air turbo is what fiat has had since 2012… I’ve had 2 of them, with combined 200,000km. One bad crank seal,. I was very happy with them… but then again, I changed euro spec oil every 5,000km. Thanks for the review tho, I was wondering about the hornets!
@@AWMJoeyjoejoe Unless it had a V8 and a Tremec transmission, it wouldn't have been much better if the americans did the engineering. At least it might be kinda fun to drive since the Italians took care of the handling. US makes don't give a damn about making their crossovers nice lol
I think these are handsome SUVs, but there is a less than zero percent chance that I would ever consider buying a Dodge/Alfa mashup. I've heard lots of bad things about these.
Tbh, post-2016 Giulias and Stelvios are fairly decent in terms of reliability if you swap out the standard car battery for a better one immediately. They’re no Toyotas, but a lot of owners report little to no mechanical issues after a battery swap. Oh, and they drive a hell of a lot better than the Stellantis Hornale does as well. They feel more like Alfa Romeos and less like generic premium crossovers like the Hornale, which is to say they feel addictive to drive. Really the QV models are the only ones you have to worry about in terms of reliability, but only because they run the Ferrari V6, which isn’t that reliable
I agree with your assessment... This is clearly a last ditch effort done in desperation & not thought out. It's too little too late especially at $45K price point‼
A big issue with multiair engines is letting them sit. Multiair depends on normal circulation of engine oil and if you let it sit, that oil drains out of the multiair brick over time. The manual says to start it at least once a month, but in my experience storing a fiat 124 spider over winters is to start it at least every two weeks, otherwise it becomes hard to start. Pairing that to a phev platform where it won't be running all the time and not circulating oil is an interesting choice.
I saw the non-plug in at the dealership in the show room I remember it had a high price tag and seemed very uninteresting and it did not get much attention to other buyers. Now if you put the Pentastar it might get interesting and probably more reliable and would be not too bad on gas. And it seemed too small for needs.
I do not agree with your evaluation. The Hornet GT is probably the most interesting and fun-to-drive vehicle in its segment. It proves crossovers don't have to be boring to drive or ugly to look at. Its performance and style to price ratio is spot on. As to the torquey, all aluminum, twin cam 2 litre turbocharged engine, it has proven to be very reliable in other vehicles so it should be reliable here also. It offers far superior performance to the ageing Pentastar lump. As to the Hornet's size, it sits between a small and a medium crossover. For your needs, it may be too small. For others such as myself, it fits my needs perfectly. Horses for courses, I guess.
@@davidturgeon2087 to each his own. It’s great you are enjoying the experience. Mind if we revisit this discussion at 100k miles? I drive the wheels off my cars, so for me GM not an option. If you plan to put 60-70k miles on it then trade-in for newer I guess that makes sense.
As someone who works at an Chrysler/ford/Chevy dealerships where we SALE these, I DESPISE every model. Just servicing them takes literal ages. There is a total of 23 fasteners you have to un-do before you can even do an oil change. ( 12 push Clips and 5 aluminum 10MM bolts , and then 6 T15 tor screws) And you have to undo the 12 push clips before you can even put it put on a standard 10K rotary lift. Basically what should be a max 15 minute oil change and multi point, becomes an 30-45 min deal :,)
The Italians like to securely button up the bottom of their engines with quality engine splash shields as my Dodge Dart SXT has a engine splash shield!
I have a Fiat 500L with the 1.4 Multair Turbo (abarth) engine. (Also have a Tacoma and a Tundra). The fiat is my weekend city car. My Tacoma and Tubdra get 5000 mile oil changes. The Fiat Multi Air gets 3000 mile oil changes - between the turbo and multi air unit. It’s also a manual gearbox. If you maintain these engines - they can break 200k easily. But they do indeed need the proper maintenance.
I'm not a huge fan of the vehicle, but I like that they're taking the same route of physically separating the electric powertrain from the gas the same way that Chevrolet is doing with the Corvette E-Ray (for the same reason, AWD)
I would be very interested in your opinion of just the ICE on this vehicle. This motor sounds like it has too many issues just like the Jeep Hybrid you reviewed to be reliable
The multi-air design is old and has worked in the past for their 1.4 inline 4 used on Jeep, Dodge Dart and Fiat cars. The 3 cylinder engine with electric motors are the variable in this.
The GT Review by Sarah N Tuned shows all the differences. She wants paddle shifters, it has a power lift gate, the gauges adjust with the volume and track buttons. There is a volume rotary knob in the center console.
I would say as long as you're not going to keep it beyond the warranty period that it would be fine if you like the car...it'll fall apart quick though and that's by design
Hi, I like your channel alot very good detail for sure. This review reminded me about the AWD Corolla that I was looking to buy. It has a dedicated Electric motor in the rear for the rear wheels that is totally independent of the engine in front.
That complication of having coolant and other items running front to back and vice versa is definitely adding complication and will make these highly susceptible to being totaled out during a crash event. I'm sure the insurance premiums on this are going to be higher than normal.
Problem solved just get a Dodge Hornet GT with the 2.0 Liter Turbo! Stay away from the RT which is the hybrid. Prices are coming down as well! The front to back coolant lines in the RT hybrid can result in problems such as leaking! EVs aren't popular at all! The American Auto Industry is going through awful times currently! A new Administration wants to save Detroit! The current Administration's NEW GREEN DEAL has been the negative culprit with EV MANDATES! Unfortunately the Dodge Hornet has been unfairly disparaged when in all actuality it is a well engineered small SUV indeed! Be patient as hopefully some sanity regarding pricing will return to acceptable levels within the auto industry!
I really like your presentation skills. I saw another video describing all the coolant, possibly trans lines, have quick connects. I call them quick disconnects for a reason you can understand. All that steel underbody chassis structure will be pure rust in just a few short years in the rust belt of America. Worse yet in New York state where their reliance on corrosive brine on the roads destroys vehicles in short time. I just subscribed to your channel. Thank you.
Amazing display of Italian engineering. We are so lucky to have this wonderful power train. I'm certain the dealership mechanics are trained and up to snuff. As they say. WHAT COULD GO WRONG
I used to see Calibers EVERYWHERE for a number of yrs. I'm thinking to myself "Wow Dodge finally got it right!" Then all of a sudden they all vanished within like 2 yrs or so. 😮
I leased the RT version recently. So far not seeing the hate. I leased it because it is still something that dodge doesn't usually do and I am hoping it will prove the haters wrong. So far it is and I am happy.
Such a professional to take the time to do this video. This could have been a 5 second clip posted on April first. "Welcome to the Car Care Nut Channel, no, no you should not."
The entire reason for this vehicle being a Dodge is because of complaints that FCA were diverting vehicles meant for Chrysler or Dodge and putting a Jeep badge on them. I think the main market for this vehicle are people who don't like Alfa Romeo's exterior design queues but want the Alfa Romeo drive train. I don't see this vehicle going long term. Chrysler is not shy about ending production of vehicles that don't sell well. They will even end production of vehicles that do sell well if they think they can get better sales with something else. It's the end of the FCA platforms, and the Stellantis platforms are quite a bit better. I think the steering wheel has to do with future parts sharing. The volume and skip/seek thing are an Italian decision. They do the same with temperature and fan speed. I find it annoying for very much the same reason. European Engineers tend to overcomplicate things which is why it's ill-advised for Stellantis to have most of its engineering in Europe.
I actually like the hornet. Fair review....its kind of in a limbo as far as what it is. Not super practical not super performance. I still think its pretty nice and i do like the looks.
I think the new Dodge Powerwagon is going to shock Ford and GM in the heavy duty truck market. Can't speak to the Chrysler Pacific as never owned one or even seen one reviewed but often used for autonomous vehicle testing. Jeep offering still winning out over the Ford Bronco which says a lot about Jeep as this is a serious effort by Ford to take on the Jeep nameplate. Tesla continues to absolutely dominate growth in the global vehicle market though and this looks set to ramp up big time in North America for the rest of Calendar Year 2024. That this vehicle is going to compete with the Rav4, CRV or Tesla Model Y is of course ridiculous but I guess there was felt a need to "try something." I thought the Pacific could be had as a hybrid so why that couldn't be put into such a product if true is quite the mystery. Plus Stellantis just like GM is suddenly going all in with pure play battery electric full size trucks now so good luck with that one given not just the headstart Ford has had but also Rivian. Plus Rivian is already coming out with an entire 2nd Generation R2 Vehicle lineup. This is all brand new clean sheet stuff which even Tesla is struggling with. Either way Stellantis still has a very impressive market cap unlike Ford and GM.
@@doolittlegeorge Ya watching Stellantis, GM and Ford "battle" it out is like watching the special olympics. I mean ya great you won but you're still "special" (versus anything reliable).
The Dodge Hornet is really overall a great new CUV by Dodge & Stellantis! However there are 2 negatives going on with the Dodge Hornet here: 1.) The hornet starting price is too expensive, & 2.) The Automotive market right at the moment is in dire straits as nobody is buying cars and trucks! Don't rule the Hornet out as it is a nicely loaded CUV with plenty of power!
Multi airs can be reliable if you maintain them religiously like a German or Italian car. The problem is most of the people buying these will have credit too bad to get a Nissan or Kia, meaning they will get absolutely the bare minimum maintenance to keep it running and will almost always use the cheapest fluids and filters available if they even bother to change them. That abuse will kill their longevity.
I stopped buying Dodge years ago because of reliability. Look at the cars in most parking lots around the country. What you'll see are mainly Japanese. Reliable.
My concerns for complex vehicles are the same for all manufacturers. Parts availability issues, dealers and techs don't like servicing them and many lack the equipment and skills to do so competently.
One more thing. The buttons for volume and track skip are reversed for the same reason in S. California the workers building homes keep hooking up the C in our bathrooms to the hot water. Yes its a real thing.
P1f + P4, a.k.a Belt-starter-generator on the engine + through-the-road hybrid on the rear wheels. It’s pretty interesting to see all the other manufacturer’s different approaches to hybrids (since Toyota has perfected the planetary gearset approach)
These are actually pretty good and nice driving vehicles. But the GT is the way to go. Also you reviewed the base model. Power hatch and sunroof is on the RT Plus. This is just an RT with the Track Pack.
I don’t care what anyone says. I Love this car. Looks sharp..MUCH nicer than most of the other crossovers out there. The only one that might be better is the blazer, which is pretty much a crossover Camaro.
can you imagine the losses you would take after trying to sell one of these junkers after driving it for 3 years.a depreciation rate of 90%.stelantis is the new YUGO in quality terms.
Another channel says finance companies won't make loans on them - too risky given projected residual value and reliabilty issues. 800+ days of supply on dealers' lots - they must hate paying that floor plan vig every month. Do the dealers voluntarily order these things or does Stelantis shove them down their throats? Maybe they can unload them to Hertz, after all, they were stupid enough to buy all those Teslas. Apparently they sell well in Europe.
This is also a dressed down version of the Maserati Grecale, which is available as a 550 hp, 605 lb-ft EV or a 523 hp v6. I'd like to see underneath the Maserati to see how it compares to the Dodge.
AMC did well with their Hornet. Even after they ended production the AMC Hornet lived on in the Concord and Eagle. AMC got 16 years out of the Hornet platform. The Dodge Hornet is a failure, and is not selling. I have yet to see a Dodge Hornet on the road. Looks like the Dodge and Chrysler brands are going to end up with Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Plymouth, Saturn, Mercury, Edsel, and Desoto as a car brand no longer made.
Hybrid with turbo and frankenstein valve system - could this be more complicated ? Yes, you can also power front and rear wheels with different motor and several cooling systems. I am curious what will car mechanic say when he will see this...
This car is not for everyone or every situation. I traded a 2016 Challenger SXT at $12.5k, otherwise I couldn't afford the Hornet R/T. Also, my drive to work and back is a little less than the range of the battery, so once I get home I plug her in ready for the morning. I only fill the tank every 6-weeks, and my monthly fuel expense is around $27 per month using premium fuel. The regenerative charging is amazing, so much so I can run around all weekend long on a single charge if I limit highway driving. Due to having solar panels on my home, my electricity cost is near zero.
If you go with the GT instead of the RT it has the 2.0L turbo gas engine in it which is a pretty respectable engine for what it is. The base trims also only weighs about 3700lbs that includes AWD and if you don’t get carried away with options you can get it in the mid 30’s. ALSO, I know nobody wants to hear about cars like this costing over 30k but it’s the year 2024, it’s the nature of the beast, get over it or keep driving what ya got. 🤷🏻♂️
My local Jeep dealer has a whole row of them. Apparently they are heavily penalized if they don't accept one with every 3-4 delivery of models that actually sell. So they can take the hit and not receive them, or accept them, hold onto them for months, and then sell for a massive discount, but still take less of a loss than if they didn't accept them at all. Pretty crappy way to treat your dealers IMO.
There just aren't that many plug-in hybrid models out there that I'd want to drive. This one seems fun.. with 32 electric. If you do mostly town trips, just charge it at home.. no paying for gas, that sounds great. The lease deals look pretty good.
In some state(s), Dodge is offering a 2-year lease for as low as $59 a month with only $129 down. Unfortunately, my Oregon does not appear to be one of those. I suspect some of those states are offering EV incentives that help both the monthly payment and the down payment. If I could get a lease for thst Hornet that cheap, I’d be very tempted to take them up on it.

"I can't afford that!"
There is no way to say it better. Absolutely no way I am going to depend on this to get me to work every day.

Lmao I saw the first Hornet ever on the road to work today. Even though the car has been out for a while, it took this long to finally see one 🤣🤣🤣
We'll see.
When you're completely oblivious to the overall look and design...sure you would say this is a great vehicle.

Same here. Only problem was mis-attached wiring to the rear window defroster, a simple fix under warranty. The Hornet GT is probably the best performing small crossover on the market.

Just servicing them takes literal ages. There is a total of 23 fasteners you have to un-do before you can even do an oil change. ( 12 push Clips and 5 aluminum 10MM bolts , and then 6 T15 tor screws)
And you have to undo the 12 push clips before you can even put it put on a standard 10K rotary lift.
Basically what should be a max 15 minute oil change and multi point, becomes an 30-45 min deal :,)

No reason for more than one kind of faster on a splash shield
I have a Fiat 500L with the 1.4 Multair Turbo (abarth) engine. (Also have a Tacoma and a Tundra). The fiat is my weekend city car.
My Tacoma and Tubdra get 5000 mile oil changes. The Fiat Multi Air gets 3000 mile oil changes - between the turbo and multi air unit. It’s also a manual gearbox. If you maintain these engines - they can break 200k easily. But they do indeed need the proper maintenance.

Amazing display of Italian engineering. We are so lucky to have this wonderful power train. I'm certain the dealership mechanics are trained and up to snuff. As they say.

I believe the coolant lines run to the rear for weight distribution and maintenance. All ev maintenance is in the rear.
When is the last time you have seen a Dodge Neon or Caliber on the road? Yep that's how the reliability of this will be. Lease it only if very cheap.

Ya reliability, saving money, saving stress and getting the most value for your dollar is boring.

German and Japanese are basically taking over most of the US market share.

AMC did well with their Hornet. Even after they ended production the AMC Hornet lived on in the Concord and Eagle. AMC got 16 years out of the Hornet platform. The Dodge Hornet is a failure, and is not selling. I have yet to see a Dodge Hornet on the road.
I wish Mr. AMD would get to review GM and Ford cars some day... those will be treats for sure!
Dodge can't give these Dodge Hornets away, and for good reason !!!
They have sold only 1291 or so units so far with 10,000+ imported from Italy where they are made!
Plastic sway bar links. They will be replacing them often.
I’m still on my original plastic end links on my Dakota from ‘99, they hold up fine, at least they don’t rot away like the steel bolt type ones.
Not really
You have to draw the line somewhere, for me it will a hard no on plastic sway bar links. I do love the ability to ride either FWDorRWD
@@tooltime9260 Thats nice. They are still shit
Dodge this thing
😂
In some state(s), Dodge is offering a 2-year lease for as low as $59 a month with only $129 down. Unfortunately, my Oregon does not appear to be one of those. I suspect some of those states are offering EV incentives that help both the monthly payment and the down payment. If I could get a lease for thst Hornet that cheap, I’d be very tempted to take them up on it.
I really despise Stellantis for what they've done to the Chrysler group.😫
So true. They really fucked Chrysler up, BIG time. I wouldn't be surprised if, in a short time from now, that Stellantis has Chrysler fold...know what I mean? 🏹♐
Chrysler did it to itself, European operations seems to be fine and the problems were there even before Stellantis was formed.
@@dostayer3369 chrysler used to be fast and cheap so parts broke but it was replacable stellantis made em expensive watered down the speeds and made them italian extensions of mediocore reliability
Chrysler was already screwed up long before Stellantis showed up.
I think I have picked up on your secret code: “Interesting” = all things bad. Got it. This will be helpful when watching future videos.
Several years ago Chrysler refused to honor the extended warranty, purchased when the car was new, so I will never make a purchase from them again.
the best reviewer on u tube!!
Amazing that there are people who actually still buy a Dodge..
not really, there are lots of stupid people who buy based on : cheap, American, shape/style, impress other people, color, etc. You can see them in Journeys, T&C, Voyagers, Pacifica, 300's, etc. People with low FICO, live paycheck to paycheck, etc. The large majority of this country.
@@sniggittyOnly problem is the Hornet is not cheap. If it were cheap itd be competing with the sub 25k chevy trax. Thats the class of this hornet.
@@careykuhn9174 people will take out loans and debt to buy this disposable unreliable vehicle. As long as Joe Six Pack can get a loan crap like this will sell.
@@sniggittyat least he is ripped with a six pack!
It made sense when Dodge made muscle cars. Nowadays? I have a hard time figuring out why a Dodge would be a better choice than the Japanese brands for basic transportation.
I would love to see you review the Hornet GT or GT+...
GJ! Pls consider reviewing the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and the Nissan Sentra
Also the Toyota Yaris
And finally, a Chinese car if u get the chance :)
Appreciated!
No Chinese cars are in North America
I picked up the delivery. Great vehicle
I've had dodge since I'm 16, I'm 60 now. Best brand out there. Every car company has good and bad. I'm driving a 2001 dodge ram with 320.000 miles, runs great
LOL. Dodge as a whole is certainly far from the best brand out there. What a silly comment.
Goes to show that brands with popular negative image can go the distance if the vehicle is used regularly and looked after. Haters don't matter, they're not along for the ride.
I concur! Dodge is a great car indeed! I currently drive a 2014 Dodge Dart SXT & I love it!
