Thanks. It was a fun adventure! I definitely want to go back now that I know a little bit more of what to expect. We need to do a sequel to our Topaz Mountain adventure too!
There are many different minerals in this one area which makes it very unique. I need to learn more about the geologic forces at play here but it was a really cool area. Lots of great hiking and scenery too. We're planning on returning to the area next month and do some more explorations of other dig sites. Most of the western US has a lengthy mining history and there are a lot of geologically unique places to search for minerals in. I'm sure I'll have a follow up video at some point. The "documentary" style is new so I'm glad someone liked it. Most of my older videos are vlog style, but I'm trying to change it up a little. Thanks for joining us from Germany! ~ Mike
Discovering Nature's Treasure Trove: Over 80 Different Minerals Await Here!" - What an exciting prospect! I'm curious, where exactly is this place, and what are some of the most remarkable minerals that visitors can expect to find?
Yes, the close-up images don't look as good as they could. We're going to be back in the area this spring so I'm going to get some better close-up shots and I'll identify what each of these mineral combinations are in the next video. There were some really nice micro-crystals in some of the rocks we found and I'd love to get some close ups. Thanks for watching! ~ Mike
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Yeah, the close-ups don't look as good as they should, I didn't have any, so I zoomed in and that reduces the detail. We're doing a return trip this spring and I plan on taking more time filming and photographing the minerals that we find. Thanks for watching! ~ Mike
I wish I did too, but it's been growing a bit faster lately. I'm glad you liked the video. This place is really cool. We're planning a return trip for this spring so there will be a sequel coming soon. Should be fun. Thanks for watching! ~ Mike
some of the green material is called Adamite & is sought after by collectors
Great video Mike! I really enjoyed watching our adventure from your perspective. I do want to go back again this year!

Nice video, but I need some real close-up shots of the rocks and minerals.

Dear sir, prospecting and mining are licensed things to do. I am not sure if anyone owns the land, but land rights are involved.
Why don’t you have more subs?? Loved the video
